I'm glad you said that. In an effort to conserve my good stuff, and not let anything goto waste, I started using the juice I got when I purchased my starter kit (4 30ml bottles). Soon after I started using it my atty performance went down hill. I switched atty's and the same thing happened to it. Both had been working great until I put this juice in. Anyhow, I'll be cleaning them today. I think I'll do the distilled water thing.

I've only broken in a few, but I've noticed that he biggest change is in the 1st hour (if your vaping constantly). In that first 1/2 hour or so I get through the bad taste, start getting throat hit, good flavor, and good vapor.

I'd start with 24mg and see how it works for you. I would also recommend trying the juice from the VT store... tratidional tobacco is superb. Good juice makes a difference. I had ordered 3 30ml bottles of juice with my starter kit and have hardly used any of it. Really makes a diff.

Yep, that's the one I use. A few of the suppliers have them. My starter kit came with the flat tip and I like them. I got some round ones too, but stuck with the flat tip. Don't know why... just feels better. Just a couple below, but you can find them elsewhere too. Dietsmokes I think I ready on here somewhere that the 801 tips will fit the 510, but will have to veryify that. Anyone???

In Cali it looks like the republican primary is closed, so only registered republicans can vote to decide who the republican presidential candidate will be. The dem primary is simi-closed, so independents can vote in that one. Wow - my 500th post.

No, there are some stringy fibers attached to the bridge that go down and lay on the coil. He just lifted them out with a toothpick and pulled them off with a pair of tweezers. Here's the vid. Threads If nothing else, the vid was somewhat educational about how atty's work.

I don't know if we can talk about pulling your wick out without getting Keenan started, but I'll try. Earlier today I watched a vid on vapersplace that showed how to remove the wick (or threads)from an atty. Of course, you'd only want to do this for direct dripping. Was wondering if anyone has tried that and what the results were? Sounds like it may keep the atty in better working condition as the threads can get fried to the atty.

I think the 510 will be a big difference for you. What mg juice are you using? I started with 18mg but was disappoinged also. Luckily a day or so after I started I received my 24mg from VT store and it's amazing. I smoked about 1 1/2 packs a day and the 24 worked for me.

Don't get me started on cap and tax. I think it varies by state as to whether an independent can vote in the primary. I registered independent also, but reckon I'll have to change to Republican if I want to have a say in who the candidate will be.

Just FYI - I filled a cartomizer with VT Tobacco this morning and it's an amazing difference. Getting really good vapor and flaovr. I'm quite impressed with the performance now.

And that makes about as much sense as the 1st time you said it. :P I guess you're called the + end the bottom, which would make sense. Also means that I'm using it upside down (my pref) and I call the positive end the top.

I've got blank cartomizers from vapor4life. From the vids I've seen it looks like around 18 drops is common. However, I put in 20 drops and it still looks like it could take more. Just curious how many drop some of you use??? On a side note - I filled one with VT Tobacco this morning and I'm amazed at how much better it works with this juice. Not quite as good as the 510, but I'm pretty impressed.

I think he means push it flush against the back of the charger, not the bottom.
