  1. I'm very happy with the customer service also. I plan on owning the compete VP series some time after Christmas.
  2. Thanks for the fast response! It is always screwed on tight. RMA#? I purchased it from dietsmokes.com.
  3. Please keep me updated. If buying a better charger and some more batteries will solve the problem then I rather do that then exchange a perfectly good Spade.
  4. Sometimes I do drain them and they take awhile to charge but sometimes I just think they drained because of the bad performance and flickering light but I'll put them back on the charger and in about 10 mins the light is green again. Right now I'm just using my 510 because it is performing way better. It is hard to get my atty hot and require a cool down on the Spade but I can do it in 5 mins with my 510. If the situation requires me to send it back for repairs or an exchange then I want to solve the problem with the least amount of cost to Parked and Jeso.
  5. I cleaned everything with an eraser and the batteries still don't last long. They drain fast and when they get low the light flickers and sometimes the light doesn't come on until I push the button harder. It may just be the warmth of my hand or just in my head but it seems the Spade gets slightly warm when I try to chain vape it. I have three atties and they all performing well on my 510 but the Spade isn't performing near as well with any of them. There is either something wrong with the charger, batteries, or ,hopefully not, the Spade. What should I do now? edit: The batteries charge up fast sometimes when I put it on the charger, so maybe they are not draining.
  6. Interesting! I'll pick up an eraser later and share the results. Any advise on cleaning the atty connector?
  7. It is near the Christmas break of the school year. The students have turned in all their work and there is really nothing more to do. All the children are restless and the teacher decides to have an early dismissal. Teacher: "Whoever answers the questions I ask, first and correctly can leave early today." Little Johnny says to himself "Good, I want to get outta here. I'm smart and will answer the question." Teacher: "Who said 'Four Score and Seven Years Ago'?" Before Johnny can open his mouth, Susie says, "Abraham Lincoln." Teacher: "That's right Susie, you can go home." Johnny is mad that Susie answered the question first. Teacher: "Who said 'I Have a Dream'?" Before Johnny can open his mouth, Mary says, "Martin Luther King." Teacher: "That's right Mary, you can go." Johnny is even madder than before. Teacher: "Who said 'Ask not, what your country can do for you'?" Before Johnny can open his mouth, Nancy says, "John F. Kennedy." Teacher: "That's right Nancy , you may also leave." Johnny is boiling mad that he has not been able to answer to any of the questions. When the teacher turns her back Johnny says, "I wish these ******* would keep their mouths shut!" The teacher turns around: "NOW WHO SAID THAT?" Johnny: "TIGER WOODS. CAN I GO NOW?"
  8. With my Dura atty it did much better. My Spade made it through work. I think I killed my 510 atty. Since the batteries are cheap I'm going to buy more to see if there is a difference. It seems that cleaning the Spade is important. What is this eraser talk? Do you mean get a pencil eraser and rub it on the threads or what? Thanks.
  9. Maybe that's it. I used my 510 atty when the battery drained. Today both batteries are charged and I'm going to use my Dura atty. I'll let you all know how it does today. You don't have to send me another atty because I plan on buying some new ones soon anyway. Thanks for the offer though.
  10. Christopher and everyone else, I cleaned the contacts and it is working a little better. I need you all to do a little experiment for me, so I can see if you're getting similar results. Move your atty back and forth between your Spade and 510 battery. Do five second hits with your strongest tobacco flavor with them and tell me what differences you notice. I'm wondering if the different size air holes are effecting more than just air flow. Is the greater air flow in your Spade causing less of a throat hit?
  11. Clean the battery cap threads with a pencil eraser?
  12. Nothing more than falling over on my desk but that has rarely happened because I take good care of it. It falling over couldn't be the cause of the gold being chipped off because the atty covers the chip. Does the gold paint have metal in it? Could it not be conducting the electricity right?
  13. I purchased mine from dietsmokes.com. I was using a Joye 510 atty. I switched back to the Dura atty after I charged my battery to see if it was the Joye atty. It isn't because if I use the Dura atty on my Spade it sucks but if I use it on my 510 it rocks. I'm scared that it is doing this from the gold paint chipped off on part of the Spade's battery connection. Maybe it isn't just gold paint but is metal. If I put the Dura atty on my 510 and vape it for five seconds the whole time it enters my mouth warm and can make me cough. If I put it on my Spade it is colder and I have to hold the button down longer to cough. Right now I'm preferring my 510 over my Spade.
  14. Something is wrong with my Spade. Earlier at work my batteries lasted about 2 to 3 hours TOTAL. There was no throat hit and it was hard to get a vape. I had to use my 510 batteries. I thought it was the atty but since I came home I charged up my battery and I can still she a difference using a different atty then I used when I drained the batteries. If I put it on my 510 I can get myself to cough but on my Spade it is vaping colder and I have to hold the button down longer. I cleaned the battery connection out with tp because I thought maybe it isn't connecting well enough. The only imperfection I see on it is some of the gold paint on the battery connector is chipped off. I'm stressing out. Please help!!! :wtf2:
  15. I have an LED light bulb that I use as my desk light. Inside it there are 20 LEDs. The light bulb uses only 1.5 watts but puts out the light close to a 40 watt incandescent light bulb and puts off no heat. If you want an energy efficient light bulb then a LED is the way to go. I wouldn't even worry about how much energy is being drained in an e-cig's LED. Also, The Spade doesn't have as many LEDs as it does light holes. I can't really tell how many are in there but I'm guessing one. If we assume it is using the same energy as one of the LEDs in my desk light then it is using .075 watts. 1.5 watts/ 20 LEDs = .075 watts. Doesn't sound like much to me and it is probably less than that.
  16. Steven King's The Stand would of turned out different if everyone had e-cigs.
  17. I think the reason why 24 mg use has been light smokers is because the smoke is no longer messing with peoples sinuses. I used to smoke about a pack of reds a day when I was a teenager but eventually started chain smoking ultralights at about two packs a day. I had too many sinus headaches from reds and had to chain smoke ultralights to make up for the loss. With vaping I'm not having the problem of smoking something too harsh and that is probably why I'm at 24 mg now and wanting to try 36 mg. I don't think smokers think about how much nicotine is in their cigarette but choose what to smoke based on how harsh the smoke is. Would it be a good idea to add the other chemicals that we are addicted to into juice or are they all carcinogens?
  18. I haven't been vaping enough to see really big economic benefits but you have inspired me to start saving up for my honeymoon.
  19. That is great news! He better give us a good review. How did he win it?
  20. I think the government should give back every single tax dollar it has taken and let the free market decide what the money gets spent on. We work half a year to pay for taxes. Imagine what you could do if your and your spouses income doubled. That is a whole lot of e-cigs!
  21. Have you seen Christopher's room in his reviews with all the plastic totes in the background? Well, that is nothing compared to what I got sitting in front of me. I have SIX five shelved book cases in front of me. It looks like three but I have three more in the back. They are bolted together into a huge desk, entertainment center, and classic video game storage center. I have eleven big plastic drawer totes on this full of classic Atari and Nintendo games(mostly Atari). So, it doesn't take much creativity and imagination for me to think up "Nintendo thumb". I'm glad you enjoyed my review. I hope people find it helpful. I don't want people making the same mistake as me and buy a Smoking Your Money Everywhere e-cig like I started with.
  22. I don't think carts are easier. I think they are a pain in the ***. Until they invent a new cart I think you should just try to get her to start with the 510. A couple weeks ago, my fiance thought e-cigs were stupid. I would put in different flavors and talk her into trying it. She likes menthol and says it feels like she brushed her teeth. Every once in awhile she asked,"Can I hit your e-cig?" After I bought my Spade she said about my 510,"Hand me MY e-cig! I don't think it can be much easier than this. You take off the cart, drop three drops, and then you're vaping away again. I don't think just buying the easiest looking devise for someone would work. You have to get them to try something enough to like it. Also, that e-cig on your link looks like a big steaming pile of feces! It looks like they put their logo on a Chinese box(I've seen that box somewhere before). I guarantee you would just be paying for them to put their name on it.
