  1. So the twisted wire itself becomes the wick for the juice then. Interesting. Thanks, Comp.
  2. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  3. It shouldn't get hot. I'd change out the coil and see what the new coil does. It should work the same as the KPT2 mini.
  4. What are you using when the 2.1 gets hot? It shouldn't, it should be the same as the KPT 2 mini. When chain vaping you're not giving the coil a chance to cool down so it would stand to reason that the coil would accumulate heat but not to the point of getting really hot, especially not with a 3.7v device using a higher resistance coil like a 2.1 ohm.
  5. While an iTaste VTR isn't smaller than an MPV, it is more powerful and longer lasting if you use a 3400 mAh battery like I do in it.
  6. A fixed voltage battery is typically around 3.7 volts. The best resistance is either a 1.5 or 1.8 ohm coil. My preference is 1.8 ohms for fruit flavors (they like a slightly cooler vape) and 1.5 ohm for bakery flavors (they prefer a bit more heat). A 2.1 ohm coil is probably more resistance than you really want with only 3.7v to use. When you get a chance, get yourself something like a Vision Spinner or Spinner II that has variable voltage from 3.3v to 4.8v. With mine, I just use 1.8 ohm coils all the time (for my tanks), and I can adjust the voltage to the juice I'm vaping at the time. When I direct drip with a 2.0 ohm HH.357 atomizer, I set it at 4.3v. With a tank and 2.1 ohm coil, I go with around 4.0v for optimum performance -- for me. YMMV.
  7. Just get a small carry-on suitcase. You'll be fine.
  8. Well, if you didn't go back to smoking then, chances are very good that you won't ever go back. All these years I've driven that same stretch of road and I've never once seen a deer. I always wondered if the yellow deer crossing signs were correct. Seems like they are. Denver's had so much hail this past summer. Last time I was there for three days I was glad the hotel I was staying at had underground parking. Cars can be replaced. YOU can't. Glad we don't have to put that to the test.
  9. My all day flavor is FLaN (Feels Like a Nut) from EC Blends at 12 mg nic. It's Almond Joy flavored, and I've been stuck on this for well over a year now, maybe even longer. It goes great with coffee...just got in another 125 ml bottle of the stuff.
  10. When you say "wickless coils", what kind of tank are you using?
  11. Hope you weren't hurt, DarellC. Good for you that you were able to get through all that without resorting to analogs.
  12. This has gotten to be a rallying cry and we generally say this in a joking way but when we tell new vapers to get back ups, and back ups of back ups, and back ups of those, we're really not kidding. You never know when you'll need the extra back ups to tide you over. Now, just start over and go get a cheap back up or three!
  13. Higher nicotine content = harsher throat hit Higher PG = thinner juice, harsher throat hit, better flavor carrier but less vapor Higher VG = thicker juice (read: gunks up coils faster), slightly sweeter, more vapor, less flavor and less throat hit/smoother vape Hope that helps. It took me three tries to type VG. My fingers kept hitting VT (Vapor Talk) instead. Lol
  14. The first couple of months after I totally switched to vaping, I used to do the same thing. Now, I can't stand the smell of burning tobacco at all, it makes me nauseous. It might have something to do with being able to actually smell things again.
  15. Congratulations! Every milestone should be celebrated, no matter how small. I look forward to when you get to one week, one month, one year...
  16. Once you try some of Comp's Signature line juices like Mellow Spice (with actual spices in the bottle), Apple Cider.... You'll be hooked. His basic line of watermelon tastes so much like a real watermelon I swear I can feel juices running down my chin as if I just took a big bite. After trying nearly two dozen watermelons from all different vendors, I pretty much gave up until I tried Fadora's.
  17. I have to agree with Comp. All juices should have nic level and PG/VG ratio on them at the very least, at least that's what I think. YMMV.
  18. Buying online is not always "better", but I buy 99% of my juices online. Prices are certainly lower but you can't taste the juice before buying. There are trade offs.
  19. Well, every one of those that I have are all listed: Fadora Five Pawns Vape Dudes Texas Select EC Blends Volcano E-liquids The Vapor Room Flux Vape Lite Highbrow Vapor Vapor Source Neo Vap J-Vapes All of them have nic level and PG/VG ratios listed.
  20. You bought your juices from brick & mortar stores, right? In that case I would call them up and ask. All juices I've ever bought online have that information on the label.
  21. It should be 3 posts and then, on the 4th post you should be able to move about freely. You've got 5 posts in. Are you having problems?
  22. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  23. Why, that's very nice of you. Thank you, Comp. I'll do my best to crack it...with juice.
  24. Good to know. Now, when I get mine, I'll fill it up to see if I can't crack the sucker.
  25. The Mojito flavor from my local B&M used to crack my T2 tanks all the time. It also cracked several CE4s.
