  1. It's good to see you're still around and vaping! The answers kind of depend on what you're looking for from the device. If you want variable voltage there is a pretty inexpensive model call The Little Sister I've read and watched some reviews and they seem pretty good. The fistpack is on the expensive side but the unit works amazing and with its variable voltage at a finger touch away, it's extremely nice. You can't go wrong with the eGo if you're looking for longer battery life, style, and an amazing working unit.
  2. Haha, sounds like a familiar story with a lot of kids I know.
  3. I don't notice many side effects with VG but I mostly vape PG so I give much info on that. I like the consistency of PG, it's always the same.
  4. AimeeG you're going to love it. Their shipping only takes about 2-3 days.
  5. Like Nana, I've tried a ton of different units in the market since I started vaping, Joye 306, M401, Joye/DSE 510, DSE801, DSE901, DSE905, PS Protege, PS Protege Passthrough, VP2, VP Passthrough, Joye/Janty eGo, Carlos Juice Box, Wetbox, and multiple other box mods. After a long time of using the PS Protege and PS Passthrough as my daily units, I finally came back to the Joye eGo with LR901 atomizer. It's my every day, all day vape. Everyone has different preferences; I really don't like cartomizers and I'm still on the search for a good one on the go.
  6. TGDaily Emma Woollacott | Fri 27th Aug 2010, 09:08 am "A New Zealand researcher is claiming that the tobacco industry may be using YouTube to push its products surreptitiously. Dr George Thomson of the University of Otago says that despite vehement denials and a voluntary industry agreement, tobacco companies may be uploading videos with pro-smoking content. YouTube says it doesn't accept paid-for tobacco advertising, but it doesn't ban smoking related content. Thomson searched through the first 20 pages of video clips containing any reference to five tobacco brands - Marlboro and L&M, marketed by Philip Morris; Benson and Hedges, marketed by both British American Tobacco and Gallagher; and Winston and Mild Seven, marketed by Japan Tobacco and Reynolds." 7. I've been thinking about purchasing a fistpack for a long time. I'm not sure if I'll ever bite the bullet since I seem to be satisfied at 3.7 with a LR atty. I've been wanting to try different cartos on variable voltage models without messing with different battery configurations or passthroughs.
  8. You're hardcore. I wouldn't of even wanted to try any of those. I saw someone do a bacon review, you could just tell they were in pain.
  9. Welcome to the forum! You're going to love vaping even more that you can charge your battery, get better vapor clouds and more throat hit compared to those disposables you were using.
  10. The Wall Street Journal By DAVID KESMODEL And DANNY YADRON "ELMHURST, Ill.—Victoria Vasconcellos, the petite founder of an Internet retailer in this Chicago suburb, is in the thick of a regulatory battle that could affect millions of American cigarette smokers. Ms. Vasconcellos imports electronic cigarettes from a Chinese manufacturer and sells them on her website, Cignot.com, to 14,000 customers. The 48-year-old is part of a growing legion of e-cigarette purveyors who are defying the Food and Drug Administration, which contends the nascent nicotine products are drug devices that require pre-market approval and may pose their own health risks. The FDA began intercepting shipments of the products from China two years ago. " Read More
  11. Chris, the Joye306 atomizers work awesome now! I have some LR Joye306 atomizers on the way along with some of the 360 cartos. I've been hearing really good things about both. LoriHNC, try breathing through you nose when you vape. As you inhale through you mouth you can still breath through your nose. Edit: The Joye306 atomizer almost requires a drip tip if you plan to drip. Otherwise, it reminds me of vaping on the m402 a long time ago. I hated dripping on the atomizers that poked upward.
  12. Most people find that with direct dripping it's best to have use an empty cart. You can either use the cart that came with the atomizer, or pull the filler out of the pre-filled carts. Usually you drip about 3 drops onto the atomizer and then you continue to drip when the flavor, vapor, or taste diminishes. Those drops generally last about 5-10 'hits' depending on the device. What model do you have? If you're saying it looks tough to drop onto the atomizer I'm going to venture a guess and say your atomizer pokes upward like a m402 atomizer(attached picture). You can direct drop on that model as well. If you have a 510, 801, or 901 direct dripping on those models should be no problem either.
  13. That sucks; don't do anything harsh like Jeff would. I've heard stories about chains and whips...
  14. Wow, I'm glad to hear all of them are doing alright. It's nice they can at least make some contact and can hear other peoples voices.
  15. You shouldn't be scared, most products come from china. It's just best to not order hardware from Chinese sites that don't have a good reputation. The Juice you're going to receive should be perfectly fine. If you find a site that you haven't heard of before and has deals to be good to be true, it's usually because they are. Just ask your ordering questions on the forums and you'll get a lot of responses about different suppliers you may have questions about.
  16. I'm glad to hear that they took care of your problem!
  17. I agree with everyone else in the thread. For Modern Vapor's solo kit it only comes with one battery and atomizer. For their dual kit it's more than the cost of an eGo. You can get two Joye eGo batteries, two atomizers, plus all of the extras for around $70.
  18. Ya, that's how most people feel about the eGo. Enjoy!
