im still kind of a newb with the whole battery to atomizer/cartomizer lr/hr thing, right now i have a 650mAh passthrough im using. What are the difference between dual coil and all that jazz? Im using 510 standard atomizers and 510 LR right now, i never heard of 'dual coil',

I looked in the stores and saw that the cartomizers are supposed to only last a few times, maybe only 3 days of vaping it says. Ive been vaping for upcoming 3 weeks now and have gone from prefilled carts to direct dripping/refilling my own carts. The problem im getting is when i fill my own carts, the fiber inside seems to not wick to the atomizer well and i tend to vape it faster than it wicks and end up with a burnt plasticy taste when the cart still has eliquid in it, just because the tip that touches the atomizer starts to get burnt with the e-liquid near the mouthpieces not wicking down to the atomizer. Ive also done direct dripping which maybe 3 drops to the atomizer, ive noticed it starts to leak sometimes even with such few drops and i cant vape long on it before i have to drip again. I guess im looking for somethign thats more conventient, I dont mind direct dripping at home, but on the go im kind of trying to find something that will last all day without many problems. Is there a cartomizer that is reusable more long term than 3 days or are they all disposable? Or is there something im doing wrong with my carts thats causing the weird burnt plastic/fabric taste? I pop out the fabric in my cartridges just to check if theres e-liquid in it and there is, just not on the tip closest to the atomizer. Also, anyone out there who uses cartomizers, how long do they usually last you? What is the average/ml/refill you usually get out of one?

the funny thing is i ended up like that as well, i been vaping for 2-3 weeks i think, and have the urge to pick up a smoke but when i do it makes me feel weird, the smoke and the thick buildup of tar/yellow stuff in my old ash tray kind of makes me sick tot hink of it now, it kind of kicks back those urges i get to smoke a cigarette time to time. I smoked for so long that i forgot how refreshing it is to have clean non smoky air around me.

i tend to get the 'morning hack' when i smoke the higher pg or use the cartridges. I dont know what it is about them but it seems i have to take longer drags, and end up getting that weird sting/burnt feeling in my throat and tongue for a while. For me it was just the irritation i think or maybe a slight allergic reaction, it went away once i started smoking mostly vg e-liquid though. If it does continue seeing ur physician seems like a good idea, because i dont think vaping would actually cause that kind of things it might be something else, I actually feel healthier and my mouth feels cleaner than when i used to smoke.

Most of the menthol tobacco flavors ive tasted really didnt taste nothing like a menthol cigarette, then again ive only tasted two generic ones that came with the ecigs i bought. Ive been vaping for 2 weeks and one thing I suggest before you order big 30ml+ bottles of e-liquid is to maybe order a variety of flavors in 6ml bottles or smaller to test them out before u buy the bigger bottles, i used to smoke a pack a day and a 30ml bottle of e-liquid seems like it would last me over a month. Another thing id suggest is trying different pg/vg mixes in the e-liquids, more towards pg end is stronger throat hit like real cigarettes (100%pg seemed harsher than newports for me) and the more vg it has the less throat hit. took me 40$+ in eliquid before I found out what I liked because i splurged and bought 30ml bottles right from the start, just trying to save somebody some money.

A couple of days ago I was sick and was vaping pg liquid, i noticed it tend to hurt my throat more and feel like little needles but it doesnt give me that gag reflex I used to get when i smoked. I think smoking vg while sick feels a bit better, it doesnt hurt the throat as much for me at least when im sick.

yeah most of what im vaping is fruity and eliquids with extra flavors. im starting to get a a slight burnt taste even right after i drip into it, or some weird flavor like key lime pie mountain dew lol, not that its bad but I was just wondering if there was something to do to get rid of the previous flavor other than completely cleaning the atty before every change, I tend to vape diff flavors throughout the day or every other time i drip.

Hey all, recently ive been trying a lot of different flavors, I was wondering what all do you guys do when you switch between flavors? Do you clean out the atomizer before putting in a different e-liquid or just vape it until the atty goes dry? Recently Ive just been dripping 3 drops into mine and smoking it until the taste goes away and then try another e-liquid, but I have been starting to notice its been effecting the flavor of my other juices somewhat when I drip something different.

I just got my order from sweet-vapes.com, they have an option there to add extra flavoring, or double flavoring. I ordered mtn dew with double flavoring and key lime pie with extra flavoring and all I can say is if it werent for the whole not chewing or drinking thing, it really does tastes like what I ordered.

thanks for the info, hopefully the 24mg vg im waiting for does the trick, or i might have to try a lower nicotine level. I just havent weened myself off the lightheaded feeling newports and as give me yet.

Hey all im new here and to vaping, Ive been vaping for about 2 weeks and its been going well, no analogs for me for a whole 2 weeks which im so happy about. I have a joye 510 for when i go out and an egoT passthrough with LR atomizers for home use. I used to smoke 1-1.5 packs a day, right now im vaping about 2-3ml a day. Usually its only 1-2ml because after a while my throat or mouth starts to feel weird or the throat hits just keep getting harsher. What im wondering is what are all the contributing factors to throat hit? from the research ive done it seems to be almost everything, atomizers/battery,eliquid type,nicotine content. Right now im using 24mg PG liquids, and im waiting on a 24mg VG to come in to try that out and see if its less harsh, I was wondering if anyone out there knew the best combo for a smoother hit? Im trying to find a go-to vape mix that i can vape all day without the harsh throat hits after a while.

haha i know that feeling, i especially hated it when it rained.

i hope it doesnt turn out that way. I was way into cars also, and in california you get pulled over for a tiny mod on your car or anything etc etc, or cars that dont pass emissions testing u cant drive, but for some reason its legal for the people who live in states with low population or some random place out in the boondocks its completely legal to drive your 1000hp modded supra on the streets, i just hope i dont have to move to some place where all there is , is cows and cornfields, just to vape =Dlol

ill check that out, im gona get a drip tip for my passthrough, but also im looking for i think a "cone" for it also, right now the atomizer screws onto it and its smaller than the battery and theres and theres outer threads that are exposed where i think the cone should go? Can anyone point me to a place where i can buy just the cones for it? I bought the passthrough Ego-T battery but my starter kit was a 510 only not the ego kit, or are the outer threads for a different type of atomizer or something?

the empty cart and driptip thing worked well though thanks, the lr gives so much throat hit im not used to even after smoking normal cigarettes for so long wow. got to take short puffs on that one til i get used to it though

nonono im using the lr on my 650mah (passthrough), and the normal atty on my standard 510 batt. I just swapped them for a second to test the lr atomizer if it was working right on my standard cig size 510, i put it back on my 650mah passthrough now though

so i got my ecigs in the mail today and wohooooooo i love it! i probably shouldnt have bought so much eliquid though, i didnt notice how little you use daily, i bought 4 flavors of 30ml types lol, i guess im set for a while

ah yeah, i just took your advice and used the empty cartridge that came with the starter kit and direct dripped onto the lr atomizer, its working real nice. I just dont understand how the fiberfilled carts work on my normal joye 510 ecig but not on my passthrough+Lr ?_?, I guess im using my passthrough as direct drip from now on which makes sense since its my around the house ecig. Time to go lookup some driptips though! thanks a bunch for the reply yo

so i got my joye 510 starter kit and also a 650 passthrough and an lr atomizer for that. I put the LR atomizer on my passthrough and it doesnt seem to produce any kind of vapor, theres some but barely. I switched the regular atomizer on my joye 510 to my passthrough and it worked and produce vapor so i dont think its the battery, I can feel the LR atomizer get hot really fast as well so i think its working, i switched the carts as well and tried diff carts it works on the normal atomizer, but the same cart on the lr atomizer doesnt produce vapor.The only thing i can think of is the cart is not reaching the coils in the atomizer or is there something else goin on here? the atty doesnt seem dead it gets hot
