thats weird, what kind of 306 are you using. I always get tons more flavor with my 306 attys than my cartos

Before you scrap it, try blowing on it real hard, maybe there is somethign obstructing the air hole

that kinda would explain why it still worked. only difference I could tell is i couldnt hear the crackling noise cartos usually make, and the vapor was much cooler

lol yeah the bay is a rough crowd. But the clearomizer I posted above last for a good while as long as you take care of them, you can refill them multiple times. they are I think about 5-6$ each, but they last as long if not longer than my 5-6$ pack of 5 boge cartomizers usually last me. If you do decide to try em, id suggest only ordering 2-3 to try out first if you like em, they are a bit costly

In the beginning a lot of ecigs came with 3 pieces, the battery+atomizer+cartridge (with fabric in the cartridge to hold e-liquid). That setup never really wicked well and juice would get stuck in the cartridge and not feed to the atomizer. Battery+Atomizer+Cartridge setup: Most people now just replace the cartridge with a drip tip, which looks like this: You place the drip tip ontop of the atomizer, it is just a mouthpiece with a center hole, which allows you to 'direct drip' and feed liquid directly onto the atomizer itself. If you want lots of vapor and short inhales, low resistance atomizers 1.5-2.0ohm range produce tons of vapor when direct dripping (direct dripping 100%VG e-liquid is just insane vapor )

It kind of makes sense when you look at the contents, making your own eliquid is just pg/vg and flavoring and I dont think those will be hugely effected by ecigarettes. The only thing that possibly will rise is the unflavored nicotine.

do those have the ego style cone adaptor? if they do you could use the vision ego clearomizers, they come in colors and are nice lookin i dont know if the hello jewels have the same threading as the ego though so dont take my word on it, unless they have some ego vision clearomizers that dont have the ego threading, I havent ran into any of those yet o and you are bay area, I grew up in San Jose

I am satisfied with the way I'm vaping right now, I think alot of it is that I have alot of extra money now since I quit cigarettes, and nothing to spend it on. Though I am still spending less than when I did for cigarettes, i make random orders here and there just to 'try' out some new cartos/attys/DIY stuff.

I had a runin with a battery issue to, I didnt notice til last night that I been vaping all day with the battery inserted the wrong way into my silverbullet. No wonder I was getting a weak/cold hit. I didnt notice til the battery completely ran out of juice and I had to replace it, but now im scared to try to recharge it.

I've ordered a bunch of different types of clearomizers, and never reordered. They are all pretty poor performance I think. Cartomizers though have seemed to be the opposite for me, almost every cartomizer I've tried are pretty good, but I do notice I don't get much throat hit from my high 100% VG e-liquid in cartos. best ones I found to give me the best throat hit at 3.7v are the Smok Tech 1.7ohm Single Coil Cartomizers.
