As for getting hot, yes, especially if youre chain vaping. Its a good idea to let it cool down for a minute or two when it gets too hot, or you risk burning out your atty real quick. There is definitely a break in period before youll get consistently good vapes. And if your suffering from allergies or a cold, you DEFINITELY will not get a strong throat hit or taste. I dont know what model you have, but long strong drags are usually NOT the best way to vape. Long, slow draws like through a straw is the technique youll hear of the most. Im gonna show my age here. Back when I was in the Navy, my ships store sold cigs for $1.25 a pack. When we went underway ( out to sea ) past the international line, they went down to .75 cents a pack , and $ 7.50 a carton. We would all wait for that and stock up ! GAWD I miss those days.

I agree. And that was just MY cost. My wife smokes as well. But, I had a great job and made a nice salary. Also, Cigs were about 3-4 bucks a pack, and 30 bucks a carton. Now, a carton of Camels (my brand) is $52.00 PLUS. When I lost my job in the economic meltdown, I had to figure some other way to get my "fix". When I stumbled upon e cigs, I was looking for a way to roll my own, which is cheaper. Luckily, I found the world of vaping by accident ! My biggest fear is the Govt will hop on board the Vapetrain when they realize theyre losing revenue, and e cigs will cost an arm and a leg as well.

Yeah, the price around here in Floriduh has gotten ridiculous. There was a time, that Fla. had some of the cheapest prices in the country.Its pretty sad that you can prchase a six pack of beer for about 2 bucks LESS than a pack of cigs. Good message for the kiddies. And I dont think it will be long before the holier than thou lawmakers decide to raise the taxes on them again to help pay for thier Holiday expense accounts and free healthcare.

Sorry Bird Dog, I wasnt even payin attention. Ive been out all day, and this is my first post, so naturally, I miss something. @trying2quit, Im an old dog myself, and I forget about the caps meaning yelling.

What may be easy for me may not be easy for you. I suggest you try ALL the different methods and see which one works for you. Some people swear by direct dripping, I would rather refill my cart. You can tell visually when your cart filler should be changed. You can also tell by taste. You can clean and reuse them indefintitly, I still have some of my originals. Atts and bats vary on life dependancy. Some things also factor in, i.e. - how much you vape, how heavy you fill your cart, etc. I have had good luck with attys, some lasting over a month and a half, and I MAY actually still have an original mixed in. Batts , the same. Theres really no specific answer, you may have some last longer and maybe not. Just remember, ALWAYS have a spare of each around just in case. Keep a bat and aty in a drawer and dont use until you have to order, then youll always have one.

OK, this has turned out to be a freakin HORRIBLE day. I know you guys probably have better things to worry about than Keenan's problems, but hey, I gotta vent. First, I have had a sinus infection for 2 days, and if youve never had one, its kinda like someone stuck an airhose up your nose and is inflating air to 1000 lbs. pressure non stop. That was bad enough, then this morning, the unthinkable happened. MY LAPTOP CRASHED !!!!! AGHHHHHHH ! I had to do a system recovery, TWICE, before I got it up and running again, but lost ALL of my files. I have all of my pictures and music on back up discs, and I can replace them, its just SOOOO time consuming. I have been working on the restore since about 9:30 a.m., and its now 4:30, I JUST got it back up and running. NOT A FUN DAY !!! This really bites maggot balls as far as Sundays go ! So, Ill be on and off the rest of the day RE-installing some programs. Thanks for listening, I REALLY neede to vent guys ! P.S. - Chris, if youre reading this, Ive tried to download Skype twice, but for some reason its not working. Ill be trying to do it again later.
