  1. When I first started vaping, like so many people, I thought that if it didn't taste like tobacco, I didn't want anything to do with it. Boy, was that a wrong assumption. Now, I can't imagine putting something in my PV that tastes like tobacco. My favorite so far is cotton candy, and I also like caramel, honeysuckle, apple, and a bunch of other ones. I mix my own juice, so I have about 15-20 different flavors I cycle through. My point is, don't spend too much time trying to match the flavor of your pipe. For one, you most likely never will. For two, there are a bazillion flavor choices out there. Be adventurous!
  2. I have seen that same e-cig in a gas station right down the road from house. I have not personally tried it, but I did get the guy behind the counter to take it out of the display and show it to me. It looks cheaply made in my opinion. I would stay away from it. Stick with something tried and true, like the Joye 510 or the Ego.
  3. As a general rule of thumb, the performance of the battery is directly related to its size. The bigger it is, the longer it lasts. I personally prefer the larger battery, but if you want to use the smaller batteries while out and about, check into a Portable Charging Case (PCC). It allows you to charge the PCC, then charge your batteries with the PCC. Makes life a lot easier.
  4. Yes, try both. Also, the harshness you are describing may be associated with the amount of PG in your e-liquid. Try a little VG in there. And, the most important rule of thumb when you first start vaping - hydration, hydration, hydration. I know you are vaping water vapor, but both PG and VG are used in cosmetics because of the way they affect the water in your skin. If you are not drinking enough water, your throat will dry out much quicker than with normal cigarettes. Try drinking a nice tall glass of water and see if that helps.
  5. The transition from traditional cigarettes to electronic cigarettes was by far the easiest transition for me. I have tried every quit smoking product out there, and I always had that feeling of loosing an old friend. I just couldn't give them up. But the day my first stater kit arrived in the mail, I was hooked. After only a week or so, traditional cigarettes just tasted awful. The thing that impressed me the most was how the vapor felt in my throat and lungs. Just like a traditional cigarette. It was like I was giving up cigarettes without giving them up. Now that I don't stink anymore, and my lungs aren't all caked with tar and junk, I don't see any reason to ever give up my new friend.
  6. Mixing e-juice is not only ok, it can be a lot of fun. Especially when you have multiple flavors that blend well together. Who knows what kind of new flavor you might come up with?
