    What A Difference

I have been a pack a day smoker for 15+ years. I have tried almost everything there is to try and quit smoking(Short of prescription drugs). Nothing I have tried has even come close to working, until now. On June 15th My wife and I were talking about Ecigs as one of my co-workers had switched to quit smoking. I called around to just about everywhere I could think of to find a quality Ecig to start with. I ended up at my local Cigar Shop picking up a Cig2o starter kit. Almost instantly I knew that this was going to be the way for me to finally quit. Over the next 2 weeks I slowly switched from cigarettes to my new ecig by only smoking a couple a day. After the first week I found that the Cig2o kit just wasn't cutting it so I got a much better kit with a longer battery life. This brings me to today. I am just a few hours away from from being 1 week free of smoking and just in this time I can say DAMN, what a difference. I can breath, I am finding out what things taste like again. My steady congestion is all but gone and I can actually smell the little things again(For better or worse, Im looking at you woman.) My family and friend have commented that I do not smell like an ashtray anymore. On top of all of this and probably the most important, I can actually play with my kids and not get winded in 30 seconds. I just plane feel better and i'm happy to think that I will be around longer to see my kids succeed in life. I have also noticed a few things improve that I have just laid down and accepted was apart of my life. I no longer lose feeling in my hands when I am on the computer working or just driving down the road. I notice that when I sneeze or cough I do not get the burning tingling in my left arm. Needless to say, all a big plus. The biggest one was yet to come. Since the age of 20 I have had pretty severe Psoriasis. By this I mean around 40% of my body. This has been a major struggle in my life but I had accepted that this would likely never change. Now this little device is changing everything. Over the last 3 weeks we have seen steady improvement all over. I would say that my psoriasis has receded to half of what it was at its worst. With all of this I can say that this has been a life changer for me and my family. I have even been able to turn a few people to trying and ecig and a couple have stuck with it. I even gave my original starter kit to a friend that as far as I know has stuck with it for the last few days. I know that most people will not read this and that is fine. if anyone comes across this post that is thinking about switching or is trying to get someone they know to switch, then it was worth it to type this out.

  2. Nice review by Scott, he's pretty much spot on on everything. Pbusardo just reviewed it as well with similar talking points. Might as well post it below in case any are browsing this topic considering picking one up. Many seem to be complaining about the build quality, but honestly i really don't feel like it's that bad. It's certainly not "good" but it is what it is, a pretty cheap (in quality and in price) VV box mod that houses impressive power for its size. I love the 18650 battery event tho it's so small. My one complaint thus far, would probably be with the 510 connection. There is no drip well, and it's not recessed so ego style cartos (Mega carto, vision clearos) won't work. I bought a 510-ego adapter, but the dang thing got stuck on my vision clearo prompting me to use needle-nose plyers to screw it off. Once unscrewed, i noticed the thread casing that goes around the connection was warped, more oval than circular. I tried bending it back to shape but it didn't work. Pitched it. I'm perfectly happy just using cartos and carto tanks on it and defaulting to my ego-c twist for the visions, but it would be nice if it had an ego style connection, especially with how popular the visions are right now.

    How Long Should I Vape?

Wow, 15 minutes a day. huh. That's amazing. I was worried that I was vaping way more than I ever smoked. It seems like more, because I am not leaving the desk for it but, maybe it isn't that much after all. Congrats Nana! And to everyone else on their goals. I'm two weeks in and not bitchy. That's all I got. Rixter, Did you decide on a quit method? I agree with the others here that if you enjoy it and it isn't hurting you, you should continue.
