mmseng
Okay so I made the mistake of ordering a Joye 510 Extreme low-res atty along with a batch of normal attys. They are all black and I unpackaged them all without thinking about it. Now I can't tell them apart and I don't want to burn anything out by mistakenly using the LR atty with my PTs or higher-voltage devices. Any ideas? I do have a multimeter, but I'm not sure how I would go about using it to identify an atty. *facepalm*
nana
Someone will probably come in to tell you about the multimeter (and that someone is not me), but I can tell you that most of the LR attys are supposed to be marked with a very little LR on the bottom of the atty - somewhere. I've looked and it must be very, very tiny as I can't seem to see it. I haven't tried using a magnifying glass yet, but that might work. Anyway, try looking and maybe you'll find it. Good luck! Jeffb
Nana is correct. The Joye LR atty will have a small LR imprinted on the bottom of the atty (threaded end).

snubber
I'm guessing you found it??? Glad it worked out.
Basilray
I would still suggest a Multimeter! They are really cheap and easy to use. You can get one shipped to your door for less than $6.
