MorisatoIncorporated
Looks like my 36mg liquid is getting tougher to get, a few sites have discontinued selling it and contacted them about it. Here's the reply I've gotten from one of them. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come. From: WetYourStickLiquids (matt@wetyourstick.com) Sent: Tue 6/23/09 10:50 AM Hello Stephen, Thank you for contacting Wet Your Stick. Unfortunately after the last of our 36mg dries up, we will no longer be offering this strength. All of the manufacturers are pulling it due to safety reasons. I apologize for this. As far as the 50ml, we do plan to offer this size in the future. It could be a few months before we do this though. I am glad that you enjoy our liquid! Please let me know if there is any other way I can help. Thank you, Matt Sanner Wet Your Stick Liquids www.wetyourstick.com matt@wetyourstick.com
SannerSays
It's sad and upsetting. I am still on the search for someone that will offer it without hurting quality, it's tough to find. The response I get is that it is unsafe to vape. I guess I can see that a little...it can't be good for you to pump that high of a nicotine content into you all day long. But I am all for the mixers and cutters. The guys and gals that like to cut their liquid down need the 36mg stuff. The only plus I see out of the 36mg going away is that it might make it easier to convince the FDA. I can only imagine what the FDA would say. "Wait, wait, wait! There is 36mg of nicotine for every ml of liquid in this bottle. You know you could easily kill a small child with this right?". Ha ha or something to that extent at least. If e-liquid is regulated in the future, I can imagine even 24mg would disappear. Enjoy the ride....
Christopher
Oh yea no doubt 24mg will be gone in a heart beat. Especially if the FDA get's there way. Although to be honest I'd rather they take away the 24mg than take it away all together. Problem is without that strength how are some people going to quite? I know it would have been much harder for me to swtich over if I didn't have the 24mg from the start. @MorisatoIncorporated like Sanner said, pretty much every supplier will run dry on 36mg, nothing they can do about it, so you better stock up while you can! DarthVaper
I agree with you Chris - I wouldn't have been able to quit without the high-test nic liquid.
MorisatoIncorporated
I personally vape the 36mg liquid, when first tried the e-cigs with the 24mg I didn't see much effect. The removal of 36mg really bothers me and if they were to even remove the 24mg as well I could see the transition for some from analogs being nearly impossible. Christopher
China is doing it for saftey reasons which I really respect and I think will be good for the ecigs in the long term, the last thing we need is someone OD'ing, it only takes one person to screw it all up. However I do NOT think they should take away the 24mg. That wouldn't be good at all.
MorisatoIncorporated
Yeah I could see some dumba** overdoing it and OD'ing, I always make sure to tell the people I convert the proper way to go about vaping and to treat it with respect. Any substance in the wrong quantities can be lethal and should never be mishandled. Guess bigger worry would be someone with little kids leaving a bottle out. Kids nowadays will drink just about anything if it has a sweet smell to it. But that also comes down to responsibility. Never leave bottles out or in areas a kid can get into. On a side note, got the management of Foxwoods resort casino interested in the E-cigs. Guess a lot of my newly converted coworkers pointed me out as the culprit and they wanted to ask me about them. Maybe I can convert the management haha.
InsteadECigs
It seems extremely unlikely that you could OD vaping. You would be spending all day and night trying to get that much nicotine. Maybe with a couple patches on and chewing some gum. It is more likely that a kid would get a hold of a bottle and drink it, which would be very detrimental to the industry. Manufacturers and suppliers should be properly labeling the bottles and using child proof caps. Parents should be parenting. FYI, the Chinese manufacturer of eliquid (the big one...Boge) is beginning to offer childproof caps on their bottles of eliquid.

Yup in fact the juice bottles we have are all safety proof, and I think they should be. It's unfortunate but there are some crappy parents out there, so I feel as suppliers we should do the best we can to make sure kids are kept safe. I spilt quite a bit of juice on my hand and wasn't around water at the time, boy did a feel like crap. (And Believe me that's an understatement)
MorisatoIncorporated
Speaking of labeling, TW did a great job with labeling their liquid. Love the fact it lists everything in it and in what percentage. Though the big skull and bones poison symbol on the side was disturbing
Genet1c
Just a quick note, the guy from electronicstix.com had an announcement not too long ago about his supplier discontinuing the 36mg. However, he included the email from the guys he buys his liquid from, and they said that their new "fierce" level or the highest level they can make is 26mg. I dont think their will be a problem making 24mg in the future, if 26 has passed whatever certifications it had to meet. As far as 36mg being gone, its gonna suck without it, cuz boy can u get a LOT of vapor, but i think i can deal with just 26mg. 24 was my favorite, but the 26mg is really nice.
