Flooding Problems With My 510

i'm about 3.5 weeks into vaping and my atomizer is flooding regularly. at first i think i was pulling too hard and have made that adjustment which helps some. My question is what style of filter is working for people. I originally used the stainless steel screen thing and have recently tried the aquarium filter stuff. My atty seems to be either red hot or flooded most of the time.

Any advice on what to do? I started dripping at home and it's great but not really an option for during the work day and when mobile. Thanks.

There will me many that will comment on cartomizers, but I haven't made the switch. I do mostly drip. but when I use carts I use the blue foam from strictly ejuice. https://strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67_49&products_id=222&zenid=tgt2o0nrsbhophmh27160ottd1

Over the last year I have tried many, many options and the blue foam has worked best for me.

The problem of flooding or not getting enough juice is why some people end up dripping or switching to cartomizers. If you are out on the go I would recommend picking up some empty cartos and filling with your favorite juice.

i was under the impression that cartos don't work with the 510's. That's not correct huh? Can someone point me toward some cartos for my 510? And are cartos refillable? Thanks,

Right here bud! And yes they are refillable.

i used to do the blue foam. after i got my first carto i threw away every piece of blue foam i had, simple as that.

the whole mess of filling with blue foam is just not worth it.

pretty sure i wasted more juice than i vaped because depending on the thickness and mixture of pg/vg would depend on how thick your blue foam had to be.

also cartos are not as tall as the two part atty. something i really like.

yeah, i'm starting to wonder why the hell i wouldn't just use cartos, except for dripping of course. the aquarium **** is inconsistent and the steel screen thing shredded my hands making it and it leaks. I ordered 2 5 packs of cartos today. can't wait for them to arrive.

Hi this...I've been vaping about two and-a-half months. You reminded me that at around the same time as you, I was flooding attys, trying to decide about filler, trying to master direct dipping (I was making quite a mess), and using cartos. I think that people new to vaping read up here, and then find their own favorite method. What works for some isn't going to work for others. I actually found and unpacked a bag of poly fill to use inside throw pillows when I recently moved back to NYC. I cut off a little piece and stuffed it into a cart. It worked fine, soaked up juice, and I could rinse it off. It was a little lighter in consistency than what normally comes in a cart, but essentially the throw pillow poly fill was the same. I played with that for a while and then moved on. Today, I use all of the above. I'm way better at dd...yay, and I dd when I'm sitting at the computer table. I use cartos when I'm 'on the road'. I was able to restore my flooded attys by vaping using an empty cart (which is dd). The rest of this for me has been trial and error and personal preference. Hey, good luck vaping!
