SeraphNebilim Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 So I just started vaping about 2-3 weeks ago and was told to change the little coil thing every 2-3 weeks. I think I had a .5 originally but the pen came with a .2 one and it's time to change it. Is it safe to use the .2 even though it only says it's .3 compatible on the side or is that dangerous? I'm new so sorry for not knowing all of this.
Earthling789 Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Welcome to VT! The listing on the side of your battery is the lower limit of your battery's ability to work. It will not fire the 0.2 Ohm coil (most likely) because of the circuitry built into it (for safety). I would suggest you pick up more of the 0.5 Ohm coils, if you liked the way they work.
arossi2462 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 No you do not have to change it that often as long as you don't burn the cotton (in a tank). You don't have to change coils in an rda for awhile either
