noirfae Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Ok , so I don't Vape myself but my husband does and I as a cook and and diy for all sorts of products, I am curious how the the different flavors for vapors are made. I understand how the e-liquids themselves are made, but how can you make your own flavors? for example how could I make a vanilla flavor from vanilla beans or something similar?
Tam Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 If you look in this section here: http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/131-diy-e-liquid/ you'll find all kinds of discussions on DIY e-liquids.
Earthling789 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) Good info on the DIY e-liquid section... but I thought I'd add this as well... I ran across it back in the winter on Reddit: It has some good info on making extracts suitable for vaping, which is NOT the same process as making flavor concentrates or spice-extracts for cooking Edited August 17, 2014 by Earthling789
noirfae Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 I have been reading the post on e-liquid section, I don't just cook, I also do a lot of my own lotions, soap, etc, I have a love of creating anything. I also love the basic chemistry behind it all. Even if it isn't the same, the concept is the same measure and mix! BTW most of what I have read so far doesn't tell me how to make my own flavors.
