Outlawmayhem Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 so i got a k100 and an igo-w4 but the throat hit is too harsh. like its way too hot. should i change wire for the coil? i like a slight throat hit like what i got from my ego c twist and vivi nova tank. how many ohms should i make the coils. also im using cotton for wick.
Tam Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) What I've discovered about the IGO W4 is that the holes for air flow are too small, which is what creates a harsh throat hit. No matter what ohm coils I've built, the vapor was harsh enough to take my tonsils out. For some time I thought it was my coils but I don't think so anymore. Sometime soon I'll be drilling them out to 1/16" to see if that helps. YMMV. Edited April 3, 2014 by Tameiki

Crazyavonlady Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I don't know what size drill bit my husband used for the holes on mine. I was told to make sure the holes are close to the coils too, and that has helped tremendously!
