scured Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I have a Joyetech eGo-T 1000mAh battery I recently got from a friend of mine and recently I'm having an issue where if a tank is screwed into the battery (a tank in general) , the light stays lit after pressing it. It does not do this with a tank not on it, only when it's screwed in. I really like the battery so I don't really want to toss it, so I'm hoping the battery isn't toast but what can I say I got it for free
Bebop Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 It should light up even with no tank. And it shouldnt stay on. Sounds like a bad wire or switch.
scured Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 No like, I press the button when a tank is on the battery and it stays lit even when I remove my finger and after a couple seconds turns back off. But when the tank is removed, the light works how it normally should.Sorry should've cleared that up lol
dannyk Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Does it vape ok ? Ie : can you vape with it or does the coil seem dead ? Slightly sticky button maybe ? Have you tried turning it off and on ? (5 rapid clicks) cleaned the contacts ?
Compenstine Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Clean the contacts. and try a different tank and see if it does the same thing. I had a brand new generic do the same thing and it was a short in the coil.
