need help

So today i just went and got a steam turbine and it taste like metal super bad. I have done mesh wick, silica, cotton, and combo of all but the metallic taste just will not go away oh yeah and i cleaned it

First off, and this may have nothing to do with it, but what was the sourceof your cotton, and did you boil it?

Oh, and what did you use for the coil?

Make sure your coil wire has NO ALUMINUM this is very important as aluminum will give you this taste as well as being slightly toxic. Just a thought

The cotton i use is organic from a health store and i boiled it. I use A1 kanthal from a local shop. I use this stuff in my protank all the time. This genny just has the smell and taste of metal that want go away
