15270 Battery ?'s

Recommended Posts

I have a VP Pearl and it has two icr15270 3.6v 450mah batteries. I have one that will shut off even after being full charged if I take too long of a drag I can put it back on charger and take right back off and it will reset the circuit and will work just fine with short drags.

My question is will these work are they the same size ultrafire 15270 3.7 600mah. I would like to get these due to higher mah.

I also see alot of cr2's that say 15270 but are 3.0v would those work even though 3.0v example.VT

Wow just noticed I joined VT two years ago today.

Hmmm, looks like that Pearl "demands" those 3.7V batts (or one 14500).

My guess is that the Protected batts you have are faulty, I've seen my share of faulty 3.0V Protected batts. (Still 15270's).

I suggest trying another set of batts or go with the 14500 flames or IMR's.

I suppose you could try 2 CR2 3.0V batts, and can't imagine why it would not work ok.

My guess is that they are the same batteries, but labeled differently. For example, there are a lot of 10440 batteries that are labeled 600mah, but they are really only 360mah. I could be wrong, but a 15270 is a 15270 and they should all be pretty close to the same size.

You may want to send an email to vaprlife and see if they can answer that.
