New Fda Rules

Recommended Posts

This is an e-mail to me from ups . This info was confirmed by fda lead agent.

Tony,

Here is what FDA has sent us regarding E-cigs.

e-cigarettes may now make entry, PROVIDED:

There are no therapeutic claims, i.e. Helps to quit smoking

Actual manufacturer information is provided

Country of origin must be on the accompanying labeling and packaging

There must be ingredients statement for the nicotine extract

Please provide the manufacturer and if the e-cigs contain nicotine extract the ingredient list.

I was told by fda that this info must be on every bottle of e-juice and on the box containing pv if carts contain juice.Juice not containing nicotine must state 0 nic,but still must show ingredeints.

All suppliers reading this must contact your supplier and pass this info on to them.

As long as all contents are compliant you may order as much as you need with no worries of shipment being seized.

It's not going to be easy to get china suppliers up to speed. They probably have millions of labels allready printed.

I have to have my seized order transfered from ontario ca. to san fransico, then i must have labels printed, drive to s.f. and install stickers on 80 bottles of juice and 52 box's of pv's.Better than loosing my entire order.

Yes I'm already getting a hold of contacts to verify the legitimacy of this. Keep in mind that even if this is the case, the FDA at some point will probably start using the Substantial Equivalence to regulate e cigarettes. More on this here: http://www.fda.gov/TobaccoProducts/ResourcesforYou/ForIndustry/ucm238891.htm

That's the latest in the FDA's hell bent mission to stop e cigarettes.
