  1. Long live Hendrix! On the Indulgence, that thing is amazing! It's holding up well, I love the switch and it vapes great at 6v, too. The only thing I noticed is the extension cup is out of stock. You need that to add the extra batteries for 6v vaping. They offer a extension cup with the 18650 3.7v battery or one with 2 - RCR123A 3.0v batteries for vaping at 6v. However, both the cups are the same so you can buy either and still use any battery combination. I got the 18650 just because I had plenty of RCR123A and it works great with both. I also got the passthrough option and it works just as good as the VP-PT. However it errored out my computer so I put it on the VP-PT wall adapter and it did great. The construction is sturdy, the craftsmanship is great and it works as expected right out of the box. Highly recommended! Oh, and it came in 3 days! The downside: $15 shipping! Oh, and get the HV 510 atomizers for use at 6v. It's almost like having a portable VP-PT!
  2. Pick up some 801/302 atty from the VT store. They are unbelievable on the VP-PT. I do warn you, though, once you start vaping the VP-PT, you are spoiled to anything else!
  3. I saw GrimmGreen use one in a vid. That looks AWESOME! How sweet would a VP2 look with a silver 510 atty and a stainless steel t-tip? We can get really fancy with the color combos now!
  4. Dang! They are out of the extender cups! BTW-Both the extender cups are the same. It's just a choice of which batteries you want. I got the 18650 and it works perfectly with the RCR123A batteries. Honestly, I really hate to say this but I'm off the USA mods. I've had really bad experiences with them and I just don't want to name names. These folks don't have a real manufacturing process so success is not repeatable. I would love to help them out for free since I'm an ISO9000 auditor but nobody has asked. I will say I've been pleased with Jeso's stuff so far. I've hear of a few people having to send stuff back for repairs but I've had great luck so far. The stuff I've gotten from him worked somewhat flawlessly. Even the little issue with the VP2 LED dimming is simply keeping the connectors and batteries clean. Not some design defect like I've seen with other units. The VP-PT hasn't even hiccuped once (knock on wood). But other than his stuff, I'm swearing the others off. I'm really excited about the Joker, though. It might be worth waiting a little for it to come out.
  5. I've never tried the SB. The Indulgence is really well made. CNC aluminum, really solid button, nice engraved logo. I was super impressed with the thing. Like I said, I do have 2 other HV units and both have issues. One just basically never worked at all. The Indulgence worked as advertised right out of the box. The passthrough works just as good as my VP-PT. It runs at 5v, too. When I first plugged it into my computer, the computer threw an error about the voltage being too high or something so I plugged it into the wall USB that came with the VP-PT and it's outstanding! I highly recommend this unit. Plus, it came in 3 days!
  6. I've been on a mission to find a good, portable HV unit for a long time. I finally found what I was looking for. The Indulgence from eastmall.com Yeah, it's a Chinese unit but it truly rocks. You can vape at 3.7 or 6 so you have the flexibility. I found that running it at 6v with a HV atomizer is about as close to the VP-PT as I have been able to get. I hate to say it but I have 2 of the USA made units and they are pretty much useless. For the money, the Indulgence beats them all! Here's the link to it
  7. A lot of your posters are over 50 years of age, too!
  8. I would go underground. With the internet and all the info available, it wouldn't take much to improvise juice and devices. The problem would be atty. But I'm guessing we could get them underground. Where there is a demand, there is going to be a supply. But I think the first step I would try is just stepping down and quiting all together.
  9. Congrats, Joe!!! That's AWESOME! I was a door knocker in the 1980 census. Honestly, kind of makes you proud to help out. And super good job getting other folks vaping. You might have just saved some lives. Crowns for you in heaven, friend!
  10. Yeah, it's maybe not the best idea to flame out but I feel the guys pain. I just had the exact same experience with PS but perhaps I'm a little more subdued (I have a rep to protect in this communitiy). But I will say, I agree with this guy on this one.
  11. WOW! This is getting really scary! I had no idea that these were now becoming job requirements. What's next? Are they going to start with weight requirements? I know the military has that, so why not the private sector? Pretty soon you are going to have to be a fitness model to get a damn job!
  12. Honestly, an employer can create any kind of policy they like as long as it doesn't involve race, religion, or national origin. People don't really realize that Texas, like Florida, is a "right to work" state. Which really translates into a "right to fire" state. They can decide they don't like the color of the shoes you wear and fire you for that. Basically, they don't need a reason at all! I said that to say this, I would guess that if you try to go to e-cigs, they will just perceive that as "cheating" and create a policy to quickly ban them from the workplace. Perhaps you can get it to the right people and maybe show that it is a harmless alternative. Anything is possible! It's a sad fact, but in most states, when you go to work for a company, you abandon your civil rights.
  13. I've never had any problems at all flying with my PVs. I usually just throw them in my laptop bag and never even had a question. As for the temperature, it should be right around 120 degrees plus or minus. And since a pizza box won't burn in a 350 degree oven, I doubt you could start a fire with the thing. Maybe you could explain that it's a vaporizor unit that works on the same principle as a theatrical fog machine. I tell people it's a mini fog machine and that seems to clear it up. That's why I love my Janty Stick. It looks like a medical device. When somebody asks, I tell them it's a vaporizor for my lungs, which is completely true. They act embarrased and don't persue it any further!
  14. Same old crap. This "gateway drug" thing is so insane. "They" said the same thing about pot and how many of the folks (like me) that grew up in the 60s went on heroin? I doubt very many. Anyway, here's the link
  15. Does anybody know this guy? Talk about bad judgement! Keep commenting and maybe he'll just pull it on his own.
  16. Totally Wicked just opened one in Bradenton, FL but I think it's mostly to support their products. Supposedly you can sample the juice, etc. If there was one near me, I would go there regularly. As for hookahs, you could setup a bunch of passthroughs with wall warts. You could also sell juice, carts, atty, etc. I think the controversy would probably give you all the advertising you need to start. I think you would get lots of people who are just curious. The key would be friendly, knowledable staff. Good luck with the idea!
  17. Yep. I got the extended cup but I got it with the 18650 battery. I found out the cups are the same but they just include either 2 RCR123As or 1 18650. Since I didn't have an 18650, I decided that was the way to go. But you can get either one and they work with either battery set. I also picked up the USB adapter and I have to say, it performs just as well as the VP-PT. It did throw an error when I plugged it into the computer so it doesn't work there. But I plugged it into the wall adapter that came with the VP-PT and it works great! The cord is really short, though. The total cost was $106.70 + $15.00 shipping = $121.70
  18. Ever since I got the VP-PT, I've been looking for a portable version. Once you have the beautiful 5v wonder, it's hard to settle for anything less. All the 6v units burned the juice and tasted like crap. A new supposed 5v unit I got is a HUGE disappointment (video coming soon). So here is the secret: high voltage atty! I got some hv 510 attys from eastmall, popped 2 RCR123A batts in the Indulgence, and it is amazing! Pure heaven, boys and girls! From my calculations, the current is slightly less than a 5v unit with a standard atty but for some reason, the experience is nearly the same. Just thought I would share this with all the poor souls that own a VP-PT and long for a pocket size version.
  19. I got the video up if you guys are interested to see this thing. Here it is!
  20. Man, everytime I hear the Canadian national anthem, I expect a hockey game to to start!
  21. Of course, you would have to vape the E-Cialis juice in that one!
  22. I picked it up yesterday. This thing is cool! It's like the Swiss army knife of PVs! I think I'm going to have to do a 3 part video on it because of all the features. So far, it's working great. If anybody is thinking of buying one and have any questions, post or PM me.
  23. It's a cool opera, too! Very popular and the music is great! As they mentioned, it revolves around people who work in a cigarette factory. Here's the best filmed version It's well worth checking out! Oh, and if you grew up with Gilligan's Island, like me, you will recognize some of the songs from an episode about then doing Hamlet as a musical. Everything I know about classical music I learned from Looney Tunes!
  24. I think what ponyboy was saying is that municipalities will probably ban e-cigs in public places. If it's anything like the smoking bans, it would start somewhere and then sweep across the country. If we can stop it early enough, we might avoid this for awhile. However, I say awhile because it's probably inevitable that they will stop us from vaping in resturants, bars, etc. I do hope I'm wrong, though. Big PHARMA and big tobacco are going to do their best to ban juice from sale. But the devices are not likely to be affected. They are too easy to make and bootleg. My fear is that they will somehow get juice on the controlled substances list and sick the DEA on this thing. But there is strength in numbers and we are better organized than crack addicts! Let's hold them off as long as we can!
  25. I never saw that but it's a cool idea. There was a guy who was an Olympic runner down here in Tampa that use to train with a device that restricted his breathing. I use to see him running with it on. Looked goofy but the principle is sound. I did see a video of B.J. Penn jumping out of a pool. That was impressive! He's a great athlete but I don't like him!
