The DSE601 (I don't sell 'em but I own one ) has a very wide atomizer, a fat battery, and a very "airy" draw. Not only that but it looks classy as hell with all the gold and glossy rosewood (it's real wood, yo). If you take a 5 second drag, when you exhale, it looks like you're smoking a hookah!!

Okay, keeping a pack of alkaline batteries in the fridge, no problem, right? Well, e-cig batteries aren't just batteries, there's sensors and microchips in the "battery" housing that can be damaged by the condensation when you take it out of the fridge. I don't know about you but I really wouldn't want to test how hard it is to cause a short with a lithium ion battery and some water! Just keeping e-cig batteries in a drawer in your house is good enough. I wouldn't keep them in my glove compartment in my car for instance, since vehicles tend to go through an extreme in temperatures, and even places like garages do too. The li-ion batteries normally have an insanely low self-disharge rate. However, depending on the type of automatic sensor an e-cig battery might be on standby, listening and waiting if it's one of the types that use a microphone to sense "inhalation noise". If it was completely powered off, how could it monitor for sound? So, the battery must maintain a "trickle" charge to the circuitry, and eventually drains the battery. In normal use, the battery is prevented from being deeply discharged.When stored for long periods, however, the small current drawn by the protection circuitry may drain the battery below the protection circuit's lower limit, in which case normal chargers are unable to recharge the battery. More sophisticated battery analyzers can recharge deeply discharged cells by slow-charging them. Even with a manual switch (no "stand-by" sensor) on the 510 batteries this issue exists, just wanted to point that out. Due to the nature of li-ion batteries, it really makes no sense to buy e-cig batteries to stock up, because invariably, you will lose up to 20% battery capacity a year, just sitting there. The reason you want to store li-ion batteries long term at 40% is because it slows the self-discharge rate a lot, it's an industry standard, and that is why most e-cig manufacturers ship their e-cig batts charged at about 40%.

Try a DSE601 (E-pipe) :P That'll give you a full drag in about a second!

Okay, most laptops do not power USB powered devices at full power when the laptop is not connected to an AC power source, FYI.

DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER! You'd want to have them charged to about 40% for long-term storage. Keep them in a cool dry environment. You do not want to store lithium-ion batteries fully charged, as this reduces their capacity.

Usually, if the draw is getting hard on a 901 atty, it needs to be cleaned. Build up of reduced liquid can impede airflow. All the (SLB) 901 atomizers I've ever used that were in proper working order almost had too light of a draw.

Heh, if you want to improve vapor production, add some vegetable glycerin to your e-liquid. :P I vape 50/50 e-liquid and VG and blow plumes of vapor from any e-cig model. The VG has some cons to it though. It cuts the nicotine strength and flavor of the liquid based on the ratio of VG to liquid.

In public, it gets me strange looks from people who think my e-cig is an analog. Ya, I had an older 510 that didn't have the LED and it drove me nuts!!

When you burn your pinky finger on an analog! I was out at a party and one of my friends offered me a Djarum Black. I took a drag and almost burned my finger on the cherry because sometimes (well, a lot of times) I use my pinky to put up against the e-cig LED to see it, and it's almost second nature now... Heh.

I love the picture but why would you throw away the glass bottle and dropper? They're washable! :P EDIT: What about the e-cig batteries and atomizers that eventually die?

That's all I'm saying. I'm not an authority on patents and intellectual copyright or anything, just sharing my opnion. And while the materials themselves may be somewhat common, the idea for the application of the materials and the combination as such, for using it with e-cigs, is original. It just bugs me that the first thing people do when they see a new idea is try to copy it. This fraking country is so fraked because of the fact we don't make anything original anymore.

Wow, I think it's kind of dirty of you guys talking about stealing someone's idea and stuff. You guys are talking about someone who is just small potatoes, a user trying to scrape a few bucks, by coming out with an idea and making it available. It's a cut throat world, ain't it? Thank God, I warned her about this kind of thing when I first heard about the E-dobit. I hope she got a patent for it.

I'm a little late to this thread but here's my thoughts. The atomizers -- My very first 510 atomizer is still going strong. I vape 50/50 Glycerin/Liquid, so I have to clean my atomizer out every week. Dripping with glycerin and liquid cut as thick as I like it, builds up. Hot water, ethyl alcohol, and my atomizers are back in tip top shape. I ABUSE my atomizers, constant use, I get 'em cooking all day long. Going through 5-8ml of thickened liquid a day, it's tough work for any atomizer, imho. After almost 9 weeks, my oldest atomizer started to have an acrid, metallic taste to it, so much so that I almost have to keep it flooded to avoid it. Same thing for my oldest 306 atomizers. For me, vapor production over the past 2 months has decreased, if I had to guestimate... about 30%. In other words, after about 2 months, my atomizer is at about 70% when cleaned. However, I use glycerin to cut my liquid, and that may skew my results. I imagine if using straight liquid, drop in vapor would be more pronounced. The batteries -- They have been holding up quite well. However, the gold coupling brassiness is coming off, and there's signs of oxidation. I find that I have to clean the couplings on the atomizer and batteries more often now that they're older. Seems carbon build up is the culprit. I clean them with a Q-tip and some ethyl alcohol. My oldest 510 manual batts, seems to last just as long as they always did. They seem to take a bit longer to charge though... My oldest chargers are still working good too. The finish -- Despite the tarnishing of the brassy parts, the overall finish is still intact. It seems to absorb the oils from your hands but there's no scratches (even from my keys in my pocket at the same time) and the finish is cleaned easily. Overall -- I'd say that the 510 holds up pretty well to abuse. I'd think the manual switch would be the first thing to break but it's still as responsive as the day I bought it. A lot more durable than I'd expect out of an e-cig but it also makes me wonder how people can burn out an atomizer in a couple of days.
