  1. It never changes. My Cleito at 45 watts does it all the time.
  2. 40A AWT 18650s. 3.7V 3000 mah I've only had them since December. I have two sets that I swap out, so they haven't been continuously used every day. I use my Aspire Cleito with .4 ohm coils at 45 watts. Playboy tank with .5 coils between 50 and 70 watts. And my Velocity RDA at around a .2 between 70 and 100 watts.
  3. I love my Snow Wolf. But lately and more frequently I've been having a drop in voltage. I'm not talking about the initial battery ramp up when you turn the mod on or let it sit for a while. In Power Mode (Wattage), I will hold the fire button to take a drag. I will get full voltage, then midway through the inhale, the voltage will drop off as if I let go of the button, then it will come back up. Yes I'm holding the button down all the way. I never use Temp Control. Only use it in wattage mode with my tanks and RDAs and it always does this. Its really starting to annoy me. Any reason for this?
  4. Make sure and prime the juice holes a bit with the new coil and let it sit for about 5 minutes. With that 0.5 you will been fine between 30-40 watts.
  5. Yes it ended up being the VG in the juice. Especially with subtanks you have to be conscious of the PG and PG ratio because the juice holes can't keep up sometimes. Uwell crown could probably take a higher VG but don't crank up the wattage too much. It's all just experimentation
  6. Wouldn't 30pg/70vg make it even thicker?
  7. The problem is that I love the open airflow for huge lung hits. The weird thing is, some of my other 50/50 mixes have a lot better viscosity and I don't get any dry hits.
  8. Premium vendors like The Standard and Classified. Are they supposed to come that thick? I even shake them before I refill.
  9. I have Aspire Atlantis, .5 ohm coils running 30 watts on a box mod. I noticed my VG juice is so thick, it wont saturate the cotton in the coil. I can't even suck it up with the squeeze thing that comes with the bottle. It's giving me bad dry hits. I'm not a noob with priming the coil or anything, I just noticed with some of my higher VG juices and even some 50/50 mixes (The Standard: Thumper). How can I counter this problem??
  10. 4.2 volts you might be right. I got the platinum kit which came with a pack of 5 coils that claim to be .5 ohms. The first time I swapped the coil, everything was fine. Might have a bad batch or some mismatched coils. I do have an ohm meter so I will find out.
  11. Yeah I'm not sure whether to buy a new battery or a new tank or some new coils.
  12. I don't know if this makes a difference, but after a couple disgusting hits, vapor continues to seep out of the tip for a good 10 seconds. Then if you shake or move the pen, even more vapor comes out. This never used to happen. Is the fact that this is sub ohming one of the reasons I'm having problems? Or could I continue to use my Atlantis/.5 ohm coil combo just on a bigger mod battery?
  13. To be honest, I know a fair amount about vaping and building only because I've just picked up the knowledge along the way. But all I really want is some good cloud (not a TON), good taste, and something that is durable and will last a while on a charge. I'm not that picky, I really only vape because I'm bored. I don't know if this makes a difference, but after a couple disgusting hits, vapor continues to seep out of the tip for a good 10 seconds. Then if you shake or move the pen, even more vapor comes out. This never used to happen.
  14. Nearest store is 2 hours away. This might give me an excuse to shy away from sub ohming. I like the vapor output but I don't like how fast I burn through juice. I might go for the iTaste 134 and get a backup battery and tank.
  15. My battery is working perfectly then. Just that burnt taste all the time. Should I try a new set of coils or a new tank or a whole new setup?
  16. I've never bought anything separate than what came in the box since I've only had it 4 months. All of the coils are 0.5 ohms You are right it has no voltage or wattage control. Right after a fresh charge, it is easy to tell the voltage drops after about 5 hits and there's no way to change it. Since I cannot alter the wattage or voltage, wouldn't that mean the battery couldn't possibly be the issue? Or do they just simply go bad sometimes?
  17. I used a BRAND NEW Atlantis tank and got the same result. Atomizer/pin connection looks fine. I always do my coil ritual where I drip some juice on the cotton first. And this time I even let the coil saturate for 30 minutes. Then I do a few dry pulls before hitting the button. And I'm always cautious of hitting the button without drawing. Seriously I'm doing nothing wrong here and I got the same awful burn taste on two different tanks. Do I need a new battery?
  18. I think I will try ordering some more coils. Should I get 0.3, 0.5, or 1.5 ohm coils?
  19. I will type exactly what the battery says. 2000mAH Input: 4.2V Output: 4.2V = 40A Compatibility: 0.3 - 1.0 ohms I've never had a problem before and I've had it for nearly 4 months. What would cause this to happen all of the sudden when I haven't changed anything but the coils it came with? And btw I've replaced the coil before and it never did this.
  20. I have the Aspire Atlantis tank with the CF Sub Ohm Battery. Straight out of the box, all stock. I started getting this funny taste. A little burn but not too bad. I figured the coil needed replacement so I threw a new one in. I let it prime for about 30 minutes. Did a few air fires before hitting the coil. After about 2 hits, this awful burnt taste came in, twice as bad as before I replaced the coil. I swapped out three more coils and got the same result. I cleaned out the air passageways in the pen and shook up the liquid real good. Finally as a last resort, I changed the TANK. Put a new coil in the new tank and still an awful burnt taste. I even tried an old coil to see if maybe every single one of my coils was bad. I know its not my liquid because I've been using Classified Indulge for a long time and its never given me issues. What could it be???
