Have you tried the .1 ohm tank ?
No clue what you are talking about

I don't use to many FW flavorings, but have noticed the chocolates they carry are very dark. Yes I would still go at least 20. If you want a lighter color Chocolate then you may want to try The Flavor Apprentice (TFA). When it comes to chocolate and coffee flavors are dark by nature. The Caramel from TFA is a med tan color. I think it has good flavor as well.
The darker color flavors will burn out coils faster, but it is the flavor that really matters. You know when it has too much flavor if it has a chemical after taste.
Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.

Flavor West for flavors, bulk apocrothey for VG & PG. wizzard labs for Nic, 100% VG 100mg Nic. Doing 30pg/70 VGWhat brand flavoring are you using?
-
I'll toss you a bone Tug... As a rule do not go below 20% on any flavoring to start, except Tobacco flavors. On high VG mixes that rule changes to 25%.
What would your thoughts be for just Caramel Candy would you stick with 20-25% on that? Or less, I noticed with a Choc/fudge I did 20% flavor looked like black tar lol
-
Thanks guys :-),
How has this been working out for you? Im doing 70 VG 30 PG at first some flavors at 20% seem to sweet but then the sweetness dies down after giving some aging time, I have been using 20% flavoring.

I am not as experienced as the rest that answered the question. But could it also be because of burning? I had a setup a few years ago that would burn juice, some not as bad as others, and some not at all. Then again he did just say brown, not super brown then black lol . Some great advice in this thread though.

Just got a Heatvape 36W Defender Battery, Got a Innokin 4ml Isubtank, got a cloudjoy Alien RDA. Also Expecting By WED a Kanger 7ml Subtank V2

Real nice, thanks for doing the review, have you had it long?

Perfect thanks for the code. That's exactly who I was planning on ordering through.I have a Horizon Scion quad coil that's .6 ohm and I built a .4 ohm dual coil on my dripper the other day. My MVP 30W has no complaints firing either of these. If you're all about durability the MVP will not disappoint you. For a really good deal check out Vapor Beast. They have the 20 watt version for around 30 dollars right now and the 30W for around 40 using the coupon code"YEAHBABY". Best prices I've ever seen.

Thanks for the advice and options, I will be ordering one this Friday. Still researching the ones that were talked about in this thread. Think I have it down to 3
The IPV mini 2 sounds good although 70watts is probably something a little over board. I did read one review from a online shop I use and the review said the charger port broke 2 days after received, they did replace it for the customer but it had me question the quality of the product.
The 50w eleafs do not sound to bad, I wouldn't have to mess with changing the battery as mentioned, the one question I would have is can you replace the battery on these if you wanted to?
I really like what some of you guys said about the MVP, the new 30 watt ones the 3.0 I was looking at. I'm all about durability and well made products. I like my purchases to last. So right now I am kinda leaning for the MVP, the only concern is will the 30 watts be good enough for the new tanks out and coming out? I'm not dripping, or cloud chasing. I do like nice big hits though.

I have been making E-Liquid since 2009 and have had many trial an error sessions. Just giving advice from many years or making juice.
Thank you I appreciate all of your advice.

I will for sure keep everyone updated. I however can say this. I have been use to the halo line for a while now, I was using the 18mg nicotine that they have. I would vape through about three 2.5ml tanks, the halo flavor was good. But I must say with my juice I actually feel more satisfied and am going through about a tank less a day then I have been with the halo e juice. I personally wouldn't have thought jumping from 18 to 20mg would have made a huge difference but it has. I also noticed with a juice like the Modzilla which I thin it's only a 12mg I go through way more juice then I would with the halo juices.I would be interested to see what your nic tests at after you do your aging process. Let us know.
I made the juice for my own personal stash, not for sale. However If you would like to check out a bottle and let me know what you think I have no problem pulling you a bottle from one of my jars and sending to you to check out.

I have seen some posts at other forums recommending doing this up to 3 days. There is some trail and error making these things no matter what you do or read. Also it depends on your heating source, one slow cooker may boil on low, and one may just keep warm. It depends. I was gonna do this one for 3 days as I did read it else where, my Home Run thread in the DIY section, I made it late night and pulled it when I woke up in the morning. Trail and error and seeing what works and what does not. It's a process. I know for a fact warming works for me. It's amazing.I do as well, but not for 36 hours. It just needs to be warm enough to change the viscosity of the VG (make it thinner) and then a good shake is more than enough.

I'm using a I phone 6 right now lolIf your on a old *** phone...lol... you'll never be able to pits a pic...
Don't worry...I feel your pain...lol
-
Not cooking it, I am warming it for blending purposes. Many juice makers do this. It speeds up the aging process.I'm still trying to figure out why your cooking your juice...
I cook for a living and I can put a hunk of meat in a slow cooker and get it well-done with that time...
Your burning that crap.... No disrespect but none of this needs to be heated up...

one thing Joyetech has is high priced coils. Can't speak for the delta yet I have not tried it, but my ego one has had no issues with higher VG juicesThe IPV mini 30w is a great mod paired with a Samsung 25r or Purple Efest.I have a Subtank Mini and I'm having issues with it wicking high VG.Ive heard nothing but good things about the Delta II,but the coils are kind of pricey

So I have been digging my ego one XL and that is the only real nice e cig I own, the battery was killer at first, but I have found myself needing to buy a back up ego one battery to keep me going through out the day.
I also want to try some of the other tanks like the delta 2 and some of the new Kanger tanks with the RBA coils. That being said I am in the market for a new battery in the next couple of weeks. I was kinda looking at the evic supreme from Joyetech, but have not made a final choice yet. I hear the Samsung battery's last good in some mods. I don't want to get a box yet, I want something I can carry with me easy. Any recommendations for a battery with the tanks I want to try out? Also is 30w good enough for those or 50w??
-
I hear they are coming out with the ego one Mega it will have slightly larger battery and a 4ml tank from what I did read. I can't wait to get one. Been real happy with my ego one XL. Although I think it is time to look for a better battery.

So my second attempt at a 300ml bottle was a success. I made a Honey Tabacco, with apple, honey, and a touch of caramel. 20mg Nic. This is amazing. One of my favs when I started in the vape world was midnight Apple by halo. It was a good flavor, but I feel I killed it. Toatly hyped up about it lol. My juice has a nice color and great vapor production, I couldn't be more happy. Seems to vape real nice and in somewhat of a good order. First you get that Tabacco and a hint of honey, then a nice Apple on the exhale, ending the whole thing ends with that hint of caramel. It's so good. Got real lucky. No more running out of juice for me anytime soon. Also I am real excited with my Tabacco I can see this can be a good base for many more e juices I want to mix up. Wanted to post a pic I took of the mixture to show everyone but I couldn't figure out how to. Back to enjoying some vape for me. Big thanks to the posts in this forum, and some of the good advice I received here, would have never pulled this off without you guys. Cheers.

So I am very sure the issue with this juice was it was just made with to much Apple flavoring. Thanks to everyone for the advice and thoughts, I will re visit this juice at a later date to tweek it. I feel confident that by making a VG/PG/NIC only mixture and using it to tone this down a bit will work just fine.
-
Thanks for the link I will order one, it's nice to have something to test out the finished juice. It is not 100% but close enough that it is considered good. This is the test I use. http://www.eliquidtest.com/

No I do not leave them sealed, and like I said my slow cooker is not really cooking the juice it is just warming it for the purpose of blending everything together. I have a base nic test kit from wizard labs. Also my Nic is 100mg 100%VG from wizard labs as well, so I do not think that would evaporate at all. If it did a little it's no big deal, I made it 20mg of nic and I am use to 18mg for my purchased vapes. Vapping the juice I made for a few days now, I must say it is getting better everyday. Not as sweet as when first tried, and I feel very satisfied after vapping, so I doubt the nic juice was weaken during warming at all.Was the juice bottle itself sealed when you heated it? Nicotine evaporates rapidly. Heating it may have reduced your nic content leading to sweetness as well.
Comp, is there a way to accurately measure nic content after mixing?

Thank you for the advice, I'm gonna let it age a week or two and re test it out. As far as the 36 hours in the slow cooker on low, I don't really believe it cooked the juice at all, just kept it warm enough to blend everything together. I use the slow cooker with the lid off and I can put my finger in the water, it's a little above warm but not burning hot or boiling.36hrs of heating? Why? That is not doing anything but cooking the juice and degrading the nicotine. If your jars were not covered it may have steamed off some the flavor and PG.
Aside from that, I'm not sure there is anyway to really cut down the sweet without dropping the VG. By cutting with PG it will reduce the Nic content and will also boost the TH. It will reduce some of the sweet taste and dilute the flavor. There may be added sweeteners in the flavorings, though Flavor West did not list any on the site. I would test a small amount first as others have mentioned.
I would first try reducing 5ml to a 50/50 blend and see if it helps.
-
Update, it just may need some time to age a bit, I don't think I will have to trash it at all, I'm gonna give it a week or two and go back to it.
I also made a honey tobacco Apple one with a pinch of caramel last night. Steeped it over night and everything blended good, I for sure will give it some time now before I test it out. Toned down the flavors on this one and kicked up the VG a bit, we will see how it turns out.
Looking to buy a new battery
