  1. Alright FTJoe, thanks for the link and you are correct about Cialis. It wasn't just the Cialis I was talking about it was also the tadalafil and rimonabant. These drugs (including Cialis) were used without displaying the proper quantities of each drug. In addition, I saw their claims that their juice could reduce weight etc, maybe I just missed it, but I didn't see where it explained HOW it did so. P.S. Tried Johnson's Creek and didn't care for it much.
  2. Cartomizers are great. I have used cartomizers for weeks and have never had one die. A dead cartomizer is usually not the problem, the problem is that eventually you may get a burning taste or a loss of flavor and that is when you will want to replace it; this is due to the wear of the filler material over time. If you vape for about 15 minutes every hour or so like you would a normal cigarette it will last for a day easily before needing to add more liquid. It is also a good idea to check it every now and then and try to keep it moist as it will last much longer. Add a few drops after you vape on it a couple of times. One more thing, after the cartomizer is "dead" you can remove the filler and direct drip with it.
  3. The Greensmoke uses a KR-808-2/E9 connection. It is NOT compatible with 808-1. The Greensmoke will not work with any other battery type; however, you can buy a 510 to 808-2 adapter from Vapure. It is labeled the 510 adapter and I have used it with my greensmoke cartomizers and it does work.
  4. I like to use 100% VG. Apparently, unlike most people, I only use all VG in cartomizers. I put it in 510 boge cartomizers at 3.2-3.4 ohms resistance and vape it at 6V. It's true that VG sometimes doesn't want to absorb but if you put in four-five drops to start out with and poke it with a small screwdriver to get it into the filler, then afterwords the juice absorbs very well, you just have to get it started. Also, I have found that you should only vape all VG liquids at a high voltage. As for it tasting strange, I have not had a problem with that on my Prodigy V3 (6V).
  5. An atomizer reaches temperatures of around 250 Celsius or 482 Fahrenheit.
  6. Mochaccino from nhaler. Just bought a 30ml bottle. Also, I'm vaping that right now.
  7. I love cartomizers, they don't need to be constantly refilled and come with a fresh atty. You can also reuse them for quite some time. I have tried 510 and 808 cartomizers. I just ordered some 801 cartomizers but they haven't arrived yet. So far I like the 510 cartomizers the best; however, the 510 cartomizers with the silver threads are the best. I have tried the gold and silver thread 510's and the gold suck HARDCORE in comparison. Every gold threaded one has also burned at high voltage.
  8. I see, so variable resistors are not a good choice. I thought I found something cool from Ohmite but it does cost 12 dollars and like WillBlack said, it is kinda big, at least bigger than what you had found Jolly. After comparing the two, variable regulators would be a better choice. Thanks for all the help everyone.
  9. This isn't going to be as easy as I thought. I imagined I could just solder the thing between the circuit board output and the atty connector. Does that thing have 5 pins, wth. Looks like I'm going to have to take a circuit analysis class or something.
  10. Holy crap, I looked for hours to find something like that. Excellent find.
  11. How do I delete this post? I decided that even though a variable resistor should work to selectively drop down voltage between 6V-3.7V, and it is cheaper. An adjustable regulator would have the same effect, although more costly, but would also provide constant voltage even with the factor of battery drain. I guess I'll have to find one after all, I just can't seem to locate one small enough and with the proper ratings to be efficient. Could anyone tell me where to get one?
  12. I just realized that when I said 10W I should have said 10ohms. Actually I think 5 would be better because even with an LR atty you could go up to 6.7ish ohms which is way too much. And where are all the replies I was hoping for, don't tell me I'll have to buy a voltage regulator.
  13. Hey everyone. I want to build a mod that has selectable voltages 3.7V-(6V or 7.4V). I am assuming this is done by adding a variable resistor. There are many types of resistors, see description, and I think I need a preset or rheostat as these types are produced to also handle smaller voltages that vaping devices utilize. Does anyone know where I can get a variable resistor or what I need in particular to build a selectable voltage mod. Also, I want to add selectable voltage to my tekk mod so if anyone knows what to add, please tell. How many watts and ohms does it need to be rated, 10W maybe? Oh yeah, if I'm entirely wrong and something else is used to accomplish this please correct me.
  14. From what I understand, the FDA targeted companies that put bizarre ingredients into their e-liquids without notifying consumers. Also, the ingredients were not approved to be used in any USA made product as they had dangerous side effects or were toxic. I believe that manufactures should be allowed to add ginseng and other similar ingredients as long as their products list those special ingredients. However, I don't want to make an order from a company with erectile dysfunction medication in it without knowing it! Still the FDA has gone crazy, probably bought off by big tobacco companies.
  15. I have noticed that heavy VG based liquids don't burn at 6V. Also, I removed the filler in my carto's and it doesn't appear to be burnt at all. I think its just the all PG liquids that burn up at 6V. I can take 3-4 second drags of 12mg Mochaccino from nhaler and there is no problem.
  16. I do not know much about white cloud; however, most companies that overprice their e-cigs are also known to exaggerate their cartomizer lifespan. Most cartos last a day, at least for me, but it really depends on how often your vaping them (why they don't get caught for saying 2 days). If white cloud does use KR808d-1 cartomizers than I would buy from vapor4life. I like that site and the cartomizers would be compatible with your batteries. Also, its cheaper to buy e-liquid and refill the cartomizers yourself. You can look up how to refill a cartomizer and watch e-liquid reviews and where to buy on youtube.
  17. I never even thought of trying anything other than a 510 or 808 atty/carto. I will have to give that idea a try. Does anyone even sell 801/302 cartomizers. I prefer carto's over attys; will 801/302 Cartomizers work better in your opinion miatafrank or is it just atomizers? Jolly, does your tekk have a variable voltage and how come no pics (nvm watched video).
  18. Lol, my bad, I can be a bit impatient at times. Thanks for the info jeffb and Jolly. I'll have to try the Tekk mod out if I can. If I remember it's sold from cloudvapor and nhaler. Oh yeah, I just ordered some Boba's bounty and am waiting to try it. Also, dulcis from vaportalk is one of my favorites as well.
  19. Why isn't anyone replying to my post? What kind of forum is this?
  20. If you're getting a burning taste you could check to see if there is a small piece of filler in the atomizer bridge that you could remove. Also, you can try running your atty under hot water, letting it dry overnight, and then give it another go. The atomizers are a pain, I don't have a problem using LR 510 Cartomizers. Also, very few liquids don't burn when going above 3.7V.
  21. I use cartomizers all the time. I've tried the KR808, WOWCarto's, 510 Low Resistance Mega, 510 Standard, 510 Mega. I would say I like the 510 cartomizers the best, I don't really notice a difference between the 510 and mega 510 cartomizers. The best type of 510 cartos have silver threads NOT gold. I get most of mine from madvapes and nhaler. I also heard liquidxpress sells good ones from GrimmGreen's review. You can get KR808 cartomizers from vapor4life.
  22. I just made an order from avejuice, heard only good things from them, still waiting for it. Vanilla is one of my favorite flavors. Most vanilla flavors do not taste right and I have tried a good amount. Vapor4life wow vanilla is pretty good but my favorite is the greensmoke vanilla. It is too bad greensmoke uses a KR-808d-2/E9 connection which isn't compatible with many batteries.
  23. I didn't stop smoking until I acquired a high voltage mod (prodigy V3).
  24. Hello Everyone, this is my first post. I have some questions; unfortunately, I have not seen this answered completely on the forums or Youtube. I have purchased the Blu, Nebula, Greensmoke, Vapor4life, Titan 510, and the Prodigy V3. The regular e-cigs were terrible, and I did not stop smoking as the flavor and vapor were not even near what I expected and battery life was minuscule. I had purchased e-liquid from about 13 different companies and when I started using my new V3 at 6V I noticed that all of my liquids were burning. Yes, I removed the filler in the new attys and only take 1-2 second drags etc. However, I usually only use cartomizers (510) and have used both standard 510's at 6V (RCR123a) and LR 510 cartomizers at 3.7V (17670). It makes no difference as the liquid still burns. I already have nhaler.com and puresmoker.com liquids and they do well at 6V. I have also made an order to avejuice.com (alien visions) which I assume will not burn either, from reviews and it is 100% VG. So are there any other companies who sell juices that don't burn at 6V? Is the problem that I need to only vape 100% VG to prevent burning? Is there anyplace that sells High Resistance 510 Cartomizers? Finally, does anybody else have the same problem with burnt juices or is it just me? The reason I am posting this is I have been vaping for over a year now and I have still been smoking a pack of Newport 100's a day. I haven't smoked for 4 days now ever since I received the puresmoker and nhaler juice and have been using my prodigy. Sadly, I am getting bored with the few flavors I like from these companies and need to find more that won't burn so I will not start smoking again. Thanks, Don
