  1. Nicoticket makes my favorite eliquid. I add their Custards Last Stand to many other flavors. Their Wakonda is outstanding; it's a coffee and cream, with just a hint of NET tobacco. Their Absolute Creme Brulee is unbelievably good! They take Creme Brulee, which is a kind of a custard, add lots of caramel, and a touch of NET tobacco. I hate tobacco flavors, but love these flavors...they don't taste like tobacco. And, I do add Custards Last Stand to both of them.

Five Pawns Grandmaster is heaven in a bottle; and I don't mind paying $27, because that includes free priority shipping, and an attractive container/box to display it in. I wish all eliquid came with a container like that, because I can put it out on my shelf to steep and it makes an attractive display that shields the ejuice from light.

(I think my prior post has a description of Grandmaster. )

  2. I bought a sampler pack of the Five Pawns Signature Series earlier this week. This sampler contains five 4-ml bottles of the following:

    Grandmaster

    Gambit

    Queenside

    Bowden's Mate

    Absolute Pin

I wanted to be able to try these without having to spend their price on 30ml bottles. Out of these five, I found ONE that I think is a MUST TRY for everyone!

    QUEENSIDE!

This blend of blood orange and french vanilla is superb.

Does the orange note dominate? I just reordered their Grandmaster, and am waiting on my vapemail...I hated this eliquid FOOB. After I let it steep for 6 weeks, it is now one of my favorites. The banana flavor was very prominent before the steep, and after, it just blended into the peanut butter perfectly. There are other flavors at play, but can't identify them.
  3. ya im enjoying the rounded edge, the total square box just didnt feel right to me..not just yet... i been flipping between 12 and 15 w seeing what i like better.

i will say i was debating the eleaf istick.30w. i liked how it fealt in the hand and how it looked, i figured the ipv will last longer over a unit with a fixed battery. but it has moved onto my wish it.

That's the same question I had; I want a Kanger Subtank, but am not sure which size to get. I'm a chain vaper, and I refill my Mini Aerotank 4 times a day. (The Aerotank V2 just doesn't vape as strong.) I'm not sure if the Mini Subtank holds more juice than the Mini Aero.

I am interested in an iStick, but am waiting to see what the cost of the new 50Watt iStick will be. I'm worried that if I buy the 30Watt, I'll regret when everyone starts raving on the 50Watt iStick Lol.

  4. I know this is off the subject but Im having a Game of Thrones withdrawl...can't wait for it to come back

You and me both! I wait for this show every year...our friends & neighbors love the series, too. We have a great time:)))

The books are wonderful, but I do wish I hadn't read ahead of the series. George R.R. Martin just HAS to finish writing these books, because he leaves us completely hanging. Plus, there's no way the series can end right without another 1,500 page book.

  5. If its not stainless I don't use it. Heavy metal poisoning is nothing to play around with. Coming from an engineer stand point anything that is plated or chromed will wear with time and it is possible for anything that is plated to leach I don't care what they say

All forms of metal are porous (permeable to fluids)

I believe you, and think Aspire should give people the new all stainless steel versions of the Atlantis once they are available. They admit they marketed them as all stainless. I am not going to buy one until I know the 100% stainless steel version is the only one sold, and it could be months before the old stock is depleted.
  6. So I just got my vaporshark in the mail and my Atlantis performs a bit better now. I am going to look for a new coil at a b&m and try some more.

Since you bought your Atlantis from Sweet-Vapes, it should be authentic. I bought a mini Aerotank from them last year, and the bottom was damaged. I emailed them, sent the tank back, and got a new one. Perhaps there's just a manufacturing defect, or yours is damaged? It can't hurt to see if they'll let you swap it for another.
  7. I gotta tell you. After using my Kanger sub for 2 days now I will use my Atlantis just as I predicted. I have the Atlantis on a CF MOD for around the house and the Kanger on a Siegeli 100W for work. I'm a service technician and do a lot of driving so I can shut off the Siegeli and save power and combined with the 6ml Kanger tank, should last me 3-4 days.

They vape differently and I really cannot choose which one i like better so I won't. There is no competition for me, I like them both and IMO they are both are budget priced.

The Atlantis on a CF mod is what I want. How much juice does it hold? As long as it's bigger than a mini Nautilus, I'm good, but hear people remark that it's smaller than they'd like. I do get better flavor from every mini I've owned, though.
  8. Just ordered my first vape. a kanger emow mega. I was told on another forum to not vape any e-liquid with a vg level higher than 30% in a kanger tank or it will not wick well. Is there any truth to this? I see 50/50 pg/vg is very common and find it odd kangers would have a problem wicking this juice.

I generally order 50/50, and have no problems with any of my Kanger tanks. Even 60% Vg is no problem. I don't like going with only 30% vg because the vapor production isn't right for my tastes.
  9. it's called the Aspire "CF Mod"

It's basically a hybrid mod that is a cross between a mech mod and a ego battery... it turns on and off like an EGO, and has short protection and low voltage protection, but other than that: it works like a mech mod in the fact it fires sub ohm, and gives straight battery power from an 18650 battery.

They also have the "CF Sub" which is for the most part the same thing, but the battery is not removeable and takes a special charger...not ideal in my book because when the battery needs a recharge, the mod is useless until it is charged and you are without a battery for 4hrs vs the CF mod you just have more than one 18650 battery, and swap the battery out of the tube to a fresh battery and throw the other on the charger and you are back in business in a few seconds.

The coils do seem to last a while. She has been using the same coil since christmas eve, and hasn't had any issues with it.

Usually when her tanks stop performing as well or get a funky taste, she will let them soak in alcohol for a couple hours and rinse them off and air dry them on the counter, put them back together and continue using them. She has gotten a good month + out of her nautilus coils by doing this.

Coils usually last quite a while, just wicks end up getting gummed up by the juise residue and need cleaned. silica wicks that these things typically run do not get burned and are burn resistant vs cotton wicks in rebuildable tanks (like my kayfun) burn easily and need changed out regularly to maintain performance and flavor.

Unless you get a bad coil or are having leaking problems, coils usually last quite a while.

the atlantis comes with a spare coil and a spare pyrex glass section of the tank as well.

I really appreciate your review, thank you. This sounds perfect for me; I can't wait to get one. I alternate between an Aerotank V2, and a Mini Aerotank. I bought a simple Mod called an Innokin Cool Fire 1 that takes the same size batteries with the extender I bought. It's rated at 8.5W, but it can't be adjusted. I've enjoyed it; it was good for a new vaper, but it's time to try something new. (I think I'll always use my Spinner 2 for travel.) I can tell you know what you're talking about, and now I feel good about saving up for the Atlantis:)
  10. Bought the gf one for Christmas with the aspire battery tube that takes 18650 batteries. She loves it. She was also shocked at how light it was compared to her nautilus and vamo. Now she's hooked on sub ohm and mech mods lol.

Is the Aspire battery tube marketed for use with the Atlantis? I've been wanting one since I heard they were available. Do the coils last a long time? I noticed they're a bit pricey. I had a dripper built by the owner of Origin Vapes; it's a Tugboat/Anarchist, but I never use it. I don't have time to build coils, which is a shame as it's a beautiful device. The Atlantis sounds perfect for me.
  11. I used to enjoy my mini KPT2, but never liked the full size KPT2 because of flooding. What I didn't like was how fast I went through coils. I bought an Aerotank V2, and the enclosed dual coils last so much longer! Instead of a single coil lasting 3 days, I've had the enclosed dual coils last 3 weeks. I'm saving crazy money; I buy all my vaping supplies, and ejuice online. I've never had any flooding problems with my Aerotanks, and the same is true of the mini Aerotanks. I'm not knocking the Nautilus Aspire; it's a great tank, but the coils are more expensive. I'm on a budget, and have to consider that, or I'd have ordered the Atlantis tank.

  12. It's the best one I've had so far, I've tried a lot, I still mostly vape coffee or tobacco flavors as my all day. I haven't had a kona from anywhere else that tastes as good, even the diy flavors I've tried haven't been as good. I still order it frequently as there are only a handful of coffee flavors I like just as much. Taste is a personal thing so some people may not like it. It has subtle bitter undertone that you may not like, I drink my coffee black so that doesn't bother me.

That makes me want to try it. I'm vaping a combination coffee/tobacco flavor called Wakonda from Nicoticket. I'm hooked on the stuff.
  13. I was ripped off by an online company called, "Smoking Everywhere." They sent the ecig, and pre-filled cartridges, but triple billed me. This was over a decade ago, and the taste was horrific. My 1st eliquid was an RY4, that I added a few drops of chocolate mint to each tankful. I loved the taste, and I haven't touched tobacco in 2 years.
