  1. Well goodness. I'd yet to realize the purpose of that little notch on the thread end of my cartos... So I'm at work, and decide to give it a whack! I adjust it and try out the airflow in the different positions.. Tightening it resulsts in making it super easy to pull the juice all the way through and into my mouth... Loosening it does indeed increase airflow. I also ran a paperclip (Completely straightened) through the center to clean it out, having never tried that out before. .... Carto, which was working before (Albeit not at peak efficiency) is now causing the battery LED to light up solid while holding it, and blink 3 times upon release. Any clue as to what I've done?
  2. Tasty Vapor's "Geoff's Blend" @ 24mg goes very nicely with a small glass of Jaegermeister. Anyone have any recommendations as far as different liquids that might go well with an evening drink? Sorry for the randomness! ~OT
  3. Keep in mind, button activation comes in handy all the time. If you drop your e-cig in your pocket, and walk around, the air flow caused by your pocket moving / bouncing around could turn the e-cig on. Or, if you're a music nut like me, and have your airflow activated e-cig in your car, loud music (w/ subs) will create enough air pressure movement to turn on the e-cig. I once melted a plastic cartrige cap to the atomizer because my e-cig was "firing" to cut-off repeatedly on a 15 minute drive. It ruins atomizers fast if this happens. Manual / push-button batteries are awesome for just carrying in your pocket, and using in the car with loud music / windows down.
  4. For those of you that said the V3 was your biggest let-down so far, would you care to elaborate a bit? I was actually looking into that as my next PV. I thought it looked like a gorgeous unit. The review video seemed good, with the exception of the "rattly" batteries. Thanks in advance!
  5. It's 24MG. And when I saw that you might be interested in a trade, I took a second look at the bottle I have, I had much less than half. The bottle is nearly full. I can include a pic if you'd like. ~David
  6. The Tastyfinger has good flavor, but it isn't one of those startlingly intense flavors like Geoff's Blend. It DOES taste like a butterfinger though. I vaped half a bottle, but got bored with it after that. I emailed Tasty Vapor and asked if they A) Have more flavors with the intensity of Atomic C + Geoff's Blend. Can't wait to try the Atomic C for the first time! I think I've been ruined, having vaped such an intense flavor almost exclusively.. Now the other flavors all just taste bland!
  7. I was so glad to find this topic.. I've been dying for another "intense" flavor like the first one I tried from Tasty Vapor... "Geoff's Blend" .. Tastes JUST like juicy fruit gum, with a faint cinnamon aftertaste... It doesn't have any sweetener added, but it has the most intense burst of flavor with each hit.. I'll be trying the cinnacide next, thanks to your review.. Thanks so much! PS, I HIGHLY recommend everyone try Geoff's Blend.. It's amazing.
  8. Beach, I think it's great that you guys have found something that excites you both! I would hate to see your wife start smoking analogs, and it's awesome that she's content with even 0 nic vaping. To that end, I think you're in the right. Just remember, don't push her for your reasons. Only if she's presenting you with an ultimatum.. PV vs analog.. Otherwise, just let nature take its course, and let her decide for herself if vaping is for her. Just like you did! Other than that.. Keep having your evening drink together! Talk about new juice flavors! Become pro at backgammon! And keep up your progress toward quitting analogs, it sounds like you're doing great! Hopefully your wife feels better soon. Also, to build on what Popsicle said, I think we all lost perspective a bit here in this thread. S/he is entirely correct, we advocate E-Cigs constantly.. Why stop now? I personally have converted most of my friends to PV vs analog... even have a couple that are interested in trying with 0 nic, just because they like the flavors, and the ritual itself! Thanks for kick-starting our brains there a bit, Popsicle, I appreciate it! Take care!
  9. What's the app called that you're using? Thanks!
  10. I'd like to toss my 2 cents into the mix here.. But I'd like to preface my statement by saying this: Despite how honestly you may think you've outlined things in your post, we all omit things to make our story sound better. It's human nature. Keep in mind that you've gotten answers / opinions in response to how you phrased your question.. Not necessarily to the question you actually want to ask. If you're asking, "Is it bad to ask my wife to try this, for me?" Then I think there are probably far better alternatives. If you're asking, "Is it better to ask my wife to try this, because I sincerely think she's succumbing to the pressures of her job and this is the least objectionable path?" You're being nothing short of chivalrous in presenting the lesser of the evils. It seems to me, that not only are you unsure of the question, you're unsure of which answer you want. And again, human nature dictates that we mold our question around what we want to hear.. So let me ask a question of you, if you don't mind.. And if you choose not to answer honestly, or answer at all.. At least be honest with yourself! Why do YOU want your wife to try vaping, and why does SHE want to try vaping? Sorry for being brash! It was actually my intent to present something slightly less harsh than the responses I've seen thusfar.. My bad! Take care!
  11. Thanks for all the "welcome"s! And I'd have to agree, the eGo has definitely changed my perspective on vaping. I'm still amazed by the complexity it brings out in even the simplest flavor. I've been mixing it up a bit with 2 flavors at a time dripped on the atty, just to see what I end up with, as it's worlds apart from the same mixture on the little "mall variety" atty. As an aside, I just placed my first "bulk" order through MadVapes. Got 10 flavors, can't wait to start sampling them.. How long should I expect to get out of the atty that came with the eGo, just dripping directly, with no cartrige or cartomizer? Thanks again!!
  12. So, having read all the warnings as in regards to maintaining a constant temperature for your liquids, what happens to one that is, say, left in a hot car? I had 4-5ml of watermelon juice that was left in my car and warmed up quite a bit. Was hesitant to vape with it due to the warnings, but I did try a drop or two and didn't notice any difference in flavor. Does the oxidation process cause some kind of toxicity change in the nicotine, or anything drastic like that? Thanks, and sorry to hijack your thread!
  13. Hey all, thanks for the replies! Got my eGo shortly after I posted the first one, and man were you guys right! Compared to the small "shidesho" or 901 or whatever it is I've been vaping with, this thing is a monster! 10x the vapor, 10x the flavor, 10x the TH... Crazy! I still haven't brought myself to try the root beer float with it, as I'm afraid with more vapor, flavor, and throat hit, I might throw up... Anyone wanna trade me something for that flavor? (Just kidding, wouldn't do that to anyone!) And for those of you that haven't had a great experience with caramel, the one I got from Modern Vapor is actually decent. It doesn't have a strong flavor, but it's very mellow, maybe a kind of butterscotchy flavor to it.. But hey, I may have just gotten lucky and gotten a good bottle. Any other recommendations for juices to try? (I know that's subject to opinion, so that's what I'm asking for! Thanks again! ~David
  14. Greetings all! Quick intro, as this is my first post! I'm 20, from Virginia, and tried my first "E-cig" sometime last year. I liked it, and smoked fewer analogs while the novelty was there, but after awhile I got bored with it.. I should mention that I only used the pre-filled cartridges with the NJoy "Npro" model.. A DSE801, I think? Well, I was in the local mall a few months ago and happened across the e-cig vendor (http://www.modernvaporcom) and decided to buy the starter kit. I knew it was an entry-level unit at best, but thought I'd give it a go. I vaped with the pre-filled carts again, but this time when I started getting bored, I went and bought a pack of blanks, and a bottle of liquid. I was blown away by the difference in flavor intensity, throat hit, quality of flavor, etc. I've been vaping (And not smoking) ever since. The reason for this thread was to ask if anyone here has tried any of the "Tasty Vapor" flavors? I've tried a few, including: "Cherry Cola(with sweetener)", "Tastyfinger", "Root Beer Float", and "Geoff's Blend".. Also tried a few of the generics like Menthol, Watermelon, Red Bull, Caramel, etc... I haven't disliked any until today, when I tried the root beer float.. I bought a new atty, and filled a blank with the root beer float flavor.. Dripped a few drops onto the atty, and vaped tentatively, getting rid of the primer taste.. But once the primer flavor was gone, I was astounded by how horrible the flavor of the juice was! For those of you that like "nut brown ale" type beer/ale.. Imagine that flavor, but burned! So I cleaned the atty and dripped some Geoff's Blend onto it, thinking maybe it was a bad atty.. But that tasted fine... Anyone have any experience with the "Root Beer Float" flavor? Maybe I got a bad bottle. O.o In addition, the Geoff's Blend that I mentioned has been my favorite of ANY that I've tried. It's an INTENSE flavor, with no added sweetener. Tastes like juicy fruit gum, with a bit of a cinnamon aftertaste. I highly recommend it. Sorry for being so long winded! But to wrap things up, I'm awaiting the delivery of my first eGo kit... Can't wati! Thanks in advance for any advice! ~David
