  1. Get an itaste MVP. It's intuitive, sleek, powerful, durable, charges as a passthrough and can charge your phone or other mini/mirco usb device from the battery itself. it stores that much power. it was 50$ at my B&M. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

  2. OMG This topic is brilliant. I never knew about these functions on my MVPs. I sorta in my electronically challenged mind, thought that it was like screwing a 100 w light bulb into a 12 v socket. It wouldn't do much because of not enough volts. But discovering I wasn't just adjusting watts to voltage and vice versa, but changing on which the unit was functioning. (Not sure I said that right) or whatever I'm doing, has given my MVP more dimensions than I even knew it had. It has made a big improvement in flavour and vapour production. Amazing! Thanks so much to all who provided this info. I shall study all these posts and hopefully become smarter.

took the words out of my mouth. you guys went above and beyond what I was expecting when i started this thread. Many thanks, i feel like i know my MVP inside and out now.

  3. HERE is a good online calculator... just enter two variables, and it will give you the other values

I also charted out sweet-spot values (as well as limitations) for the MVP a few months ago -- Red values are outside operation-limits, blue are within operation-limits, and green are generalized sweet-spot for most juices or personal preferences:

Here is one based on Wattage setting:

    And... the operational-range:

Thank you so much guys, this is exactly what i was looking for and even more in depth than i couldve hoped. You two exemplify what makes this community so helpful and tight knit

  4. VV means the battery will fire at the voltage set regardless of the resistance of your coil

VW means you can set it where you like it and it will automatically match the voltage with the resistance of the coil to produce a consistent vape regardless of the resistance.

VW was cool to me at first but when I realized I only was going to use one resistance I have just used VV from that point forward.

I vape at 3.8v with 1.8ohm coils which is roughly equivalent to 7.5-8.0 watts

Followed your advice and took it up to 7.5w, definite improvment

Do you know of any resistance to Volts/Wattage conversion charts? if they exist

  5. So my vaping batt history so far began with a eGo-T at 900mah, followed by a ego-c twist at 1300. Both were most likely clones. After that came a 1300mah EVOD twist, which was my standby until this morning, upon which i discovered i had made the classic mistake by fallling asleep holding it, resulting in the expected... :crybaby:

I couple hours later, i was en route my B+M, expecting to pick up a vision spinner. Instead, i walked away with the itaste, as it was also within my budget, had far better materials and features, can charge other devices, and came packaged with an extra tank and such. Seemed like an excellent deal to me on a product i had long had my eye on.

That being said, i need some tutoring in its proper use, in particular operation of the VVWW, the feature being untrodden ground. At the moment, I have a KPT2 mini and a KPT3 fitted with an adjustable intake collar, both with 1.8 resistance atomizers, plus the iclear tank.

The owner showed me its basic operation, but i need some info from the fine folks here on the actual meaning of VV versus WW and the ideal setting for different resistance levels. Please feel free to add any other relevant info :yes

    Thanks in advance vapers!

  6. In my KPT2, Anyvape Davide and Davide minis I use a 1.8 ohm coil. For bakery flavors I go with 4.0v, fruit flavors are at 3.6 - 3.8v. I've used 2.0 ohm coils but it went through my batteries too fast. :)

Same here Tam I always use 1.8 when it's a single coil

Do you use the same ohm for dual coils? I'm still not entirely clear on how ohm translates into actual vaping experience[emoji53]

  7. The Queen has spoken. :) a thousand pardons, your highness. *bows respectfully*

    :)

don't be a deserter bebop, ive heard Queens kinda frown on that sort of thing

  8. On all of my tanks I just let them sit for a few minutes to give the wick time to soak up the juice. Then, I do a few powerless draws and go to town from there. Never get a burned flavor. :)

I started out doing pretty much that Tam but wickburn still was a issue til i started breaking them in. Any idea how much of a difference the coil's ohm would make in regards?

Not sure if it's even relevant but knowledge is power lol

  9. I see alot of topics, particularly from people new to vaping, about troubles getting a singed taste/burning atomizer wicks. I was similarly frustrated until I learned to break a fresh one.

using a KPT3 with a 1.5ohm dual coil, I gradually season it by using the lowest available voltage on my evod initially and giving it more juice until the output's maxed. Since I started doing that I haven't tasted burning wick and vapor quality seems significantly improved.

Anybody else do anything asking these lines?

  10. I don't know about being one of the "big regulars", but I am an admin on this forum. :)

Wrong wording I guess, by big regulars i mean fellow vapers who frequent the forum for conversation and the sense of community rather than a service hotline[emoji338]

    I ask because I wana be one, this community is a great place[emoji11] [emoji100] [emoji189] [emoji189]

  11. I wouldn't even pretend to be more than a casual fan of anime. But Cowboy Bebop is fantastic from music to art to characterization.

No, my moniker comes from the jazz art form where I spend most of my time.

I did however grow up exclusively with Pembroke Welsh Corgis in my family (my mother mother being terribly Brittish and all, lol).

    Welcome eGoDamus

cowboy bebop's popularity with people outside anime's usual audience is a testament its quality [emoji106]

Ive heard it called "the anime gateway drug"[emoji13]

  12. Thanks guys, looking forward to becoming of member of what seems to be the only Internet forum truly focused on friendly conversion and advice. [emoji57]

13 days off the analogs and saying I dont have any cravings doesn't do it justice, I feel like I've been missing out for years. A very guilty pleasure got swapped for a more pleasurable alternative, certified guilt free[emoji11] [emoji100]
