  1. i tell u happy birthday every time i see you, so is it ok i totally missed this? lol
  2. When Blake from VapeMart asked me if I would like to review his juice, I was very hesitant. I actually have liked very few of the many juices I have tried from various vendors over my vaping lifetime. I told him this, and that I would be very honest in any review I do. He said he would truly appreciate my actual opinion, so I agreed. After ordering, receiving and vaping with my order, here are my first impressions: The ordering process was simple and the order was fulfilled very quickly. The prices were great, and shipping time was quick--2 days from Alabama to Arkansas. As I held the package, the first thing that stood out to me was that it looked nice. Upon opening it, I was again pleased at how neatly my order was packaged and th care that appeared to be taken to put it together. I placed a new regular atty on my five volt passthrough and dripped into it a few drops of a juice I got from VapeMart called, "Grape Ape." Upon first taste, I was very impressed. The flavor was not heavy or light, but well balanced, and I tasted apple. Not apple candy, drink, or dessert. Apple. The vapor production was great and the throat hit on this 18mg juice seemed balanced. After vaping, the lingering flavor was very close, if not almost identical, to the light aftertaste of a recently eaten, fresh, sweet, juicy, delicious apple. It was fantastic. The coolness of the juice was pleasing on my lips after each vape session with this great juice; very much an added bonus. Sometimes juice can be tricky, so I have continued to vape it and I waited to write this review until now. I can tell you with a certainty that after 4 days, I believe this is very good juice. One of the best I have tried so far, and the only juice I remember ever really liking right off the bat from any vendor. All-in-all a very pleasant experience If you are looking for a juice that has a nice balance, throat hit, flavor and vapor production, VapeMart Green Ape is an easy answer to that sometimes mind-boggling question. Plain and simple, this is really, really, good juice.
  3. wonder where you have heard that before....
  4. I wanna clarify the math here for future users: if you wanna find the average nic in a mixture of juices, just do it in this simple manner: Let's say we have three juices, x, y and z. Take the nic of each juice and fill in how many parts of it there are in the mixture. For example: 1 part x, 12 mg 2 parts y, 24 mg 3 parts z, 18 mg Add together all the parts: 12(1)+(24x2)+(18x3)=114 now we have 1+2+3=6 total parts divide the sum of the nic contents by the total parts: 114/6=19 Your average nic content for that bottle is 19mg. Hope this helps.
  5. If you make a mixture that is 50% what you have there, the 11.9% and 50% the 24 mg coffee, that should make your nic content 17.95mg. Is that close enough? Here is the math for you: 11.9+24=35.9 35.9/2=17.95 Easy peasy, if you have an extra bottle or room in yours. Remember, you don't have to mix up the whole batch if you are low on Coffee or bottles; just make whatever mixture you create half 24 mg, half 11.9 mg and you are fine. Hope this helps!! MaryAnn
  6. Hey unifx!! I just wanted to make sure you know about the juice calculators online. Here is one such calculator: http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php Hope it helps! Sincerely, MaryAnn
  7. Go Jeff!! To the OP: Since you know your percentages, and they add up to 100%, there is another simple way to calculate this: Take your percentages, multiply by mg, add them together, and divide by 100. First multiply percentage by mg: 35% at 18 mg=35*18 (35*18=630) 50% at 4 mg =50*4 (50*4 =200) 15% at 24 mg=15*24 (15*24=360) Now, add your totals together: 630+200+360=1190 Now, since that makes 100%, didvide your total by 100: 1190/100=11.9 In essence, you are trying to find the average nicotine in the bottle. Hope that helps!
  8. This was one of the funniest things I had ever seen when I watched it. It rings so true, and not just in vaping. LOL!
  9. LOL DD!! Brilliant, hehe. Thanks for the tips and the avatar is adorable. As far as shaking juice regularly, I like to roll mine between my hands to warm it as it mixes.
  10. I know 2011 has plenty in store for the vaping community at large, especially in mods. What is new and what is soon to come?
  11. I know this is a pretty late response, but how is your juice going? I would add something to your kit--sweetener. I personally am a huge fan of Perfumer's Apprentice/Flavor Apprentice sweetener, which, if I remember correctly, is sucralose.
  12. I know you can do it! If you ever need anything, I am right here.
  13. THE PERFECT HUSBAND Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cellular phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen. MAN: "Hello" WOMAN: "Hi Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?" MAN: "Yes." WOMAN: "I'm at the shops now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $2,000; is it OK if I buy it?" MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much." WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Lexus dealership and saw the new models. I saw one I really liked." MAN: "How much?" WOMAN: "$90,000." MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options." WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing... I was just talking to Janie and found out that the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $980,000 for it." MAN: "Well, then go ahead and make an offer of $900,000. They'll probably take it. If not, we can go the extra eighty-thousand if it's what you really want." WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you so much!" MAN: "Bye! I love you, too." The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths wide open. He turns and asks, "Anyone know whose phone this is?"
  14. I was taught that the size of the drop was dependent upon the size of the orifice from which it flowed, so I always make my juices by the drop, putting the ingredients into identical dropper bottles. (My aim in doing this is to create some sort of standard.) I think that when learning, it is good to make all juice by the drop and in 1-2ml batches. It is interesting what you say about vg and pg being different drops/ml. I had the same theory, so I researched it and talked to some chemists, but they said that drop size is independent of viscosity. I should count for myself. (Silly me.)

  16. I concur. Also, even at a higher price, there is something to be said for versatility.
  17. I have some friends who would like to start vaping, and it occurred to me to bypass the starter kit and upgrade cycle and head straight to a couple of USB Passthrough Ego Batteries, a couple of cones, a pack of cartos and/or atties and an adapter if need be. Why is or isn't this a good idea? Thank you for your time!
  18. Ok, confession time: I was really struggling to duplicate the great vaping experience I see so often around here. I really had a hard night last night, seemed like none of my cartos were working well. I struggled through, eventually halfheartedly so, and made plans to buy more. Then today I decided to check the mail..... The Mark Mod I had been somewhat impatiently anticipating, the Mark Mod which the Post Office lost, albeit for only a day, was here. I ceremoniously held the package, doubtfully wondering if I was truly worthy of this distinct honor, then gently wrestled the well sealed parcel with nervous aggression. When I finally got in, the beauty before my eyes gave me pause; its charm and elegance caught me off-guard. "Oh, I am supposed to use it, " I returned to reality. I had forgotten for a moment its true destiny. I took the terrible carto off of my ego, a little sad that there would likely be a purchase between me and the glorious moment of Mark Mod Vaping ecstasy. "Whoa Nelly!!!" This piece is wonderful. I knew it was going to be nice, but this is beyond nice, pleasant, or great. It is excellence wrapped in warm wood craftsmanship, polished with kindness and love. The essence of Mark is evident in every aspect of this piece. It is, in my opinion, the heart and soul of its maker personified and I am honored to have it standing proudly at attention on my desk; a handsome Satinwood soldier ready to serve with graceful aplomb. Thank you Mark for taking me to the next level of vaping and appreciation of life in general. I expected it to be appealing, but this is exquisite!!
