This place is very helpful. Welcome to the group.

Hit up a juice maker. They can probably mix it at the level you want. Just buy a bottle of 1 mg no flavor and boom mix half and half with your zero. It would dilute flavor a bit but you could really vape all day no issues. There's a few makers on here that may help you.I've been trolling around the web trying to find a vendor who sells very low nicotine solutions, like the 1mg/ml suggested above.
No joy, here. Can anyone give me a recommendation? The lowest I see anywhere is 6.
Absolutely, Mtdobies, I was an incredible idjit to do that with no gloves, and I should have known better. I'm not sure I totally trust the latex. I'm picking up some chemically resistant gloves before I do any more mixing. I'd probably wear eye protection also, if I didn't already need my eyeglasses to see what I'm doing. They don't have side shields, but they should do the job.

Just get some zero nic and another tank. Then you can take a hit of the nic switch tanks and chain vape till your hearts content. Only using nic every few hits or less.
-
Could the headaches actually be withdrawal from nicotine. 6 mg is pretty low although from your description it seems Carlton are pretty low nicotine cigarettes. Perhaps you could buy a bottle of zero and 6 to mix together and make 3. Then you could vape pretty much non stop if you wanted to.

Congratulations. I definitely agree that vaping is a superior alternative yo smoking. Now you and your wife might have a few added years together from giving up the cigarettes.

I'm definitely going to try out different things until I figure out what I like. I just didn't know the intense flavor I was missing out on.

I tried somebody's set uo at .5 the other day. It was still nice dense vapor and taste just didn't have that hot kick at the end of the hit.
-
Thats what I'm going to shoot for next time. Around .5 or .6 I really do like the flavor as is it just gets a little hot sometimes. Not uncomfortably hot but I think .5 is were I need to be.Try around a .5, it will probably be a lot more pleasant. I've discovered after plenty of trial and error that lower ohm isn't always better even if the setup handles it fine. The other day I ran a 1.3 ohm in my Kayfun and I thought the battery gauge was broken it lasted so long.

As far as going lower I definitely do not plan on it. I'm happy with it right now. When I rebuild it I will most likely go up a little because this build is almost to hot for me.It's great to hear that you're enjoying it. That's quite a nice setup. I wouldn't be in a huge hurry to go below .35 either especially if it's just for the numbers.
Thought I'd share something I recently have learned, even though in the past I read it, I'm just now experiencing it personally. Something I've been learning more about as I get more familiar with my RDA's is how much airflow affects flavor. I've found that there are some of my juices I'm not crazy about on my typical airflow opening, but if I increase the air flow and make the holes bigger, the flavor gets much more enjoyable. Also for some juices or when my mood is right, I like to slightly reduce the airflow.
I have a craft vapery subscription and so I taste a lot of new juice (well a lot for me, 6 or 7 bottles of "treat vapes" a month. After getting more familiar with how much air flow effects flavors, I went back to some older juices I had shelved in the "ok if desparete" pile and found some that I really could make the flavor more to my taste.

Yeah I only use my dripper at home when I want a flavor blast. Most of the day I stick to my mvp and nautilus.

I recently bought a new mechanical mod. It is a copper vanilla and have been using a stillaire clone rda. I did not know what I was missing. The flavor coming from this rda is unbelievable. It is literally night and day difference between dripping and my tanks. I am very impressed. I have learned a lot from everyone on this forum. Mostly when it comes to safety. I bought an ohms meter and sony vtc5 batteries. I have done a lot of research and plan on staying away from super sub ohming. My rda is currently at .35 and I do not plan on going any lower. I am happy that I have learned how to drip in a safer manner before jumping into the deep end of the pool. Although the water is nice down hear and the flavor is unbelieveable. Thanks everyone for stressing safety I am grateful.

Has anyone else seen the new nautilus mini videos. They have a vertical coil instead of the duel coil in the original nautilus. In the video I saw the guy was vaping it at 18 watts no problem. The name if the channel is suck my mod if anyone's interested. Not sure how to link videos on tapatalk or I would. Looks pretty interesting.

Mvp is a great device. Finding the right juice is like half the fun.
