  1. Hey there I'm Alex. Kind of fell into vapor talk due to another forum not allowing me to participate as much as I'd like right away. I'm looking into vape forums to learn a little more about patinas. I'm specifically looking for recipes/ratios that can dictate particular colors in the patina as well as suggested times and conditions. I have been doing a fair amount of researc, but still have a few questions. If there is an existing topic(s) please let me know and if possible direct me to it or include a hyperlink. I'd love to unload all of my questions about patinas but do not want to be repetitive. Here is one of my current setups as well as my current build. Hardware -Enigma -MVZ -VTC5 Under the Hood Octocoil 8:10/11 wraps of 26g kanthal Apparently I have a restriction on my upload size, not sure if this is a new member feature.... Here is a hyperlink to a topic I created earlier with a pic of my build. Cheers
  2. Exactly what I did I actually watched a couple hours of riptrippers before deciding I have to get an rda. Builds are a lot easier that they appear, what I will say is that safety is the most important thing. Investing in a solid ohm reader would be suggested or owning a device with an spot on atty reader. Remember battery safety, buying a high end protected battery helps but it can not be the only thing you take into account. I would suggest starting at no lower than a .5 ohm coil if you have never dripped before. On a standard mechanical mod it may "chuck the vape" like the other people you may know or see on youtube, but it will be plenty of smoke production and give something to work off of. Remember the thicker the wire (gauge of wire gets thicker as the gauge gets smaller) the less resistance it will have, ie you will need to have more wraps on your coil/coils to get to a higher resistance. Again, SAFETY FIRST!!!! Good luck and have fun.
  3. Hey guys I'm new to ecig forums love that I can actually get involved right away! Here's a couple pics of my setup. Built this coil the other day and its been incredibly to me. All 8 coils fire evenly and soooo smooth, completely not what i expected.
