  1. i was doing higher than 24mg for a while on 5v and vaping like crazy. now i'm down to 24 - 18mg for the most part. don't vape quite as much. its all about getting over them chemicals in cigs.
  2. some places will prescribe them. also a pamphlet isn't illegal.
  3. i have a mega atty, before i had to remove the wicking it worked great on 5v. on a 5v they produce redonkulous amounts of vapor and its cool unlike the regular 510s
  4. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-RC-Lipo-battery-Voltage-Indicator-voltmeter-1S-6S-/270621171082?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN just connect to the two outer posts and it will show you the total. you could connect both batteries to the others and you can see each battery, but not really needed. i have some others on the way just to see how well they will work out with some ideas.. but they are going to be bigger i think.
  5. that already seems to save a load of space. to top the posts you would want a dremel. they have ball tips with spiral cutting blades notched into them. the end of the ball doesn't really do much cutting if even any but that would make quick work of the posts. you could then put that board on the side of those batteries there. you planning on dropping in rare earth magnets to keep the lid on?
  6. along with the rest of what i said. you can cut out two of the screw posts and get much more room inside the box that way also. leave two of them in a pattern of top left and bottom right or top right and bottom left.
  7. i have no idea how that board works but with mose dc to dc they step up (like the it booster board) or, act as a buck booster (like a regulator for those that don't know). in any matter if it is a buck like i suspect. you could run dual 10440s and still have a hell of a long battery life. bucks are generally 90%-ish effective at not wasting energy. cr would work pretty good and the way you could cut a lot of that space out would be as follows -run the board on the side of the wall of the box -cr123 in series in a straight line pressed up almost to the board. divider wall would be nice between the two, just take one of those vacum sealed packages that are a pia to open and cut some plastic from that to make a wall and epoxy it to the bottom of the box sticking straight up. use a horn button like the kind from madvapes, they are pretty round but aren't all that deep. if you have any resistors (or something like the legs of one) cut a tad off of the leg and solder that to the + atty nub, run that solid line straigt to the switch. (switch should be pretty close to the + for this to work well. (this is what i do for the tekk mod). you will need to cut off half of the skirt that is on the outer side of the atty down where the soldering will be. don't chop it all off because then its a PIA to solder to and you would also have to do so after its in the box, almost a sure way to melt the box. solder out side and shove it in. something like this
  8. the only issue is it's made of ceramic or something. so if i were to drop it...
  9. well they didn't bash it, but they aren't informed correctly about the ecig. being that they sounded open to the idea, the guy that walked off could have gave even a small bit of info and sold these two.
  10. i have 120ml of ultra high nic, so i needed a gallon of pg.. also it was only about 30 with shipping.
  11. make sure you clean out your battery threads with a qtip and then the bottom of the atty threads so that they are dry.
  12. this is the definition of my word "fagtastic". *** guys ftw, now i'm going to go wash my eyes out with bleach from all that male booty bouncing.

    Sb Mod

if it drains to much power the pc may tell you that it is drawing to much current. i personally tested my usb and touched the neg and positive of the usb wires.. was like that for about 5mins and that port and all others still work fine. most of the scare i think comes from the "if it breaks it, we take no responsibility" tos agreement. when people see things like that they go bat sh** crazy and think the worst. could something happen, i guess.. could a pig get mutated and grow wings?, i guess.. the likelihood isn't good for either though.

i would actaully have to calculate the boards output but it feels a lot more like an ego at max charge than 5v. any 3.7v battery when fully charged is at 4.2v. you need amps + voltage to get the heat on the atty. more amps and voltage "together" provide the heat the coil makes. so you have 3.7v being stretched to 5v. the amps are converted to stretch that. so you have far less of a gain. i don't see why people think that stacking batteries is a bad thing. we do this every day with devices from tv remotes to children's toys.

the booster board reduces the amps to make 5v. might as well just call it a 4.5v mod.
  16. i would expect way in the back part of the newspaper to say "balloon sales man "Russel" was shot and killed today, by disgruntled 9yr old customer"
  17. cartos arent very good on mods under 4.5v
  18. pg 80 vg 20 but i'm on 5 volt so that might not help. i'm more into throat hit than anything else.. even straight pg gives me huge clouds on 5v though.
  19. 1) What is available in terms of eGo batteries. I understand there is an XL that someone sells that promises longer battery life. And I know there are now higher voltage batteries out there too. So what should I get? (And please, if you can, give me some supplier names) - the mega or xl batteries give a longer life. the regulars are around 450mAh and the mega is listed at 900 but more in the area of 750mAh there really arent higher voltage batteries, what you do is run two batteries and double the voltage then step it down to where you need it (usually). 2) I'm intrigued by the low-res atomizers, but have not tried them. I assume they pair well with a higher voltage battery, but correct me if I'm wrong. I've tried cartomizers, and to be honest, I'm not that crazy about them. I like to vape different flavors all day long, and I don't care for the rubber end with the hole in it (the "condom method") of using them; call me silly, but I just don't like rubber in my mouth all day! (Keep it clean, folks) I also think the eGo with just the cartomizer looks too strange in public, but that's just me. I'm certainly open to any new designs of cartomizers though, if anyone knows of any. - LR attys are only to be used on 3.7v batteries. how they work is there is less resistance to current. this lets them heat up faster to simulate a higher voltage. using a LR will decrease the run time of your device. so if you vape 4hrs on a charge, you will have maybe 2hrs when using lr. now cartos i say are best on devices above 3.7v (3.7v is what the ego is). you can also drop a drip tip onto said carto so there is no rubber. thats what i do on my mods. if you are happy with the 3.7v as far as throat hit and all, stick to your 3.7v. if you want to walk a bit on the super hit side, step it up. now another thing is you could do mod at 3.7v and go from AAA size all the way up to the 18650 battery that is a good deal bigger and has 2.500mAh thats days of vape with not having to recharge.
  20. i'm no chemist, but i play one on tinychat. everything pretty much has an expiration that you put into your body. "personally" i don't believe in pg/vg expiration dates, and here is why. i used to get kidney stones like crazy, so i took vicodin or something similar. well at one point i was out of them and at this point i wouldn't even go to the hospital, just pop a pill and wait it out. so i had none left but my mother had ones that were over 8 years expired!, popped one and it was like a fresh script. i'm sure there is a "in case of" reason, but again "personally" i don't even look at my own personal stash for, when will this expire. my first juice i ever made was close to the start of 2010. it has sat out in the sun, more than i have. it taste like the day i made it.
