  1. i personally like the trustfire flame labels. they aren't expensive either the only other kind i would say to go with is maybe the aw imr 14500 reo design is pretty slick
  2. why are you buying 2-3 batteries a month? mods may have an expense but after that they save you a ton of money batteries are wayyy cheaper for a mod than ecig you can get some seriously cheap costing mods down to the $40 range and then batteries are like 5 bucks and you really dont need to replace them.
  3. dude just talk to map (most angry pirate) if he got them he'll sell them to you most likely. if he wasn't sending me an adapter for the 306 carto i'd let you hit mine up.
  4. wasn't aware they were pwm. ti.com almost never loads for me. i rock dual 16340s and can still go about 1.5 days on them with the same type of setup. sometimes even a full 2 days.
  5. other than the video showing how it will look here are the other specs auto feeding system (it feeds for you) it can do this on a timed loop of your vape or you can just push the button and it will do it. it also takes (what i assume) is the same boosted battery type guts like the pro and dumps that in it i really cant see why people boost a battery, you can get two 16340s in a tube and its just 2mm wider than a 14500 tube ecig, run time is much higher and is the length of a single 18650. anyways mario is making the eclips and sometimes you can catch him vaping on the prototype. however i wasn't aware that it was a outside tube feeder system.
  6. i wasn't going to make wetboxes because they seemed to complex. funny thing is that the "right" way to build one is soooooooooo easy and any 510/306 will work or 808 if you want that connection. for right now i dont have any made, that was a one off for moonsong. going to get her feed back before i go full swing.
  7. i got a 3ohm direct from map, im not a huge fan of the e2 and how it wicks. he is sending me a 306 carto adapter soon to just screw that into my map and pow, 306 carto maptank. cant wait.
  8. if you wanna see my reaction to the juice box i call "D Cup" its funny stuff youtube jollyriffic and it should be the 2ed video i hated attys due to the dratty you get when they start to get dry so now im kinda in love with them again. was the first juice box i made. if you want a nice warm vapor, 5v it. if you want juice dont do a juicer that doesn't have a resorvor to hold the juice it squirts or you may end up with a juiced mod, needles = bad idea because they can leak back into the mod. as for battery life, you can vape less using same mah but at higher voltage so it seems like you get longer life. some mods actually run for longer times due to battery or chip used to regulate the voltage.
  9. it's our job to educate people about these devices, while i can understand your annoyance with the old bastard, that's not really the way to go about it. i would have just explained it like a humidifier or breathing treatment. his old rinkely butt should be able to picture that in his mind. then say this is just a on the go version with flavoring in it. once he is like "huh, what will they think of next". at this point he may ask why i need it and i would say, well my health was crap with smoking, now that i use this i can still use it for the nicotine if i wish or with out, most of my issue with not smoking was the hand to mouth action of it all. he doesn't need to know if their is nic or not in the device. till we beat all this bs about our government wanting to ban ecigs we need to *** kiss all these people that know nothing about them.
  10. sweet! it only gets better from here, keep up the good work!!!
  11. i have had something similar to this issue but not while using ecigs. the problem came from trying to be more healthy so i was drinking a LOT of water. i did go see a dr and she told me i'm flooding my system. not that this could be your issue but was mine. also, maybe what is happening is the tar is getting broke down in your system and sort of collecting up in the smaller areas of constricted blood flow. hit the dr and see if there is something they can look into and also check into the other probabilities of it not being ecig related. also if you are doing mainly vg try switching to pg or pg to vg and see if that has any different effects.
  12. the issue between draw on atty with cone and carto with cone is that they have a paper wrapped around the carto. remove paper, use googone on the sticky stuff left over. presto chango draw is better.
  13. so my computer dies all the time. not like the windows or linux is the issue, fresh install with no extra software it will just "poof" and its off. its around 7 - 8 years old.. yeah way out dated but works. so anyways i was hitting up newegg for some stuff. when i get cash to do so. what will i be doing with it: - some video editing using pinnacle studio ultimate - normal browser junk (normal being FF and chrome open with up to 10-20 tabs in ff at all times and chrome with about 3-10 tabs, flash video, chat, and music) - apps open all day: winamp, tweetdeck, skype, trillian, and maybe a few other things. anyways here is the list of junk i'm throwing together http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=16767387&Local=y i'll use the 200gb pata (ide) drive i already have to save some coin. also have a 750gb usb drive already. i figure for what i do, this would be more than enough. not going for blow the house down performance as i cant afford that but with this system i should be good for a while also i will be using windows xp, none of that windows visa or the patched vista named windows 7 later i'll do dual SSD in raid 0, maybe just 64gb drives as i dont save anything to the OS partition anyways. then if need be 8 more gig of ram and a much larger video card i dont do games so thats not an issue. what do you guys think?
  14. wouldnt see why not i tend to let normal cartos sit in hot water for about a day, spin dry, and then sit for another 24hrs by the exhaust of my pc or xbox to make sure they are dry. as for those i would say it may be a bit harder to get that all cleaned out. give one a shot and then go from there.
  15. there are many tanks map tank stormy ego tank i'm going to guess you are talking about the ego tank from what i hear some tanks are built better than others and the attys that go with them are built better than others. if you want a serious tank system, check out the map tank.. i have one and its pretty good. the stormy is the cheap version of the map, but cheap has two meanings and it uses both meanings. before you say OMG at the map tank price just remember that if the internal e2 system fails, you can drop in another. if you do want to go that way hit me up before buying and i'll give you some pointers about it before doing so.
  16. if they aren't boge, i dont do them. there is tons of hype around joye attys and i would assume that would be the same with cartos. there hasn't been one bad boge carto i have ever owned. i haven't even ever popped a coil in one yet including the time my button was stuck and burnt the paper off the outside, the thing still works.. not that it taste good now that its pretty much burnt everything inside my advice, if it aint boge, dont use it.
  17. the only two i really use from lorann (when im out of juice) is caramel and cotton candy. i never even tried the marshmallow. i was told that ethyl maltol was the same thing as cotton candy.. but that might have been for PA and not loranns
  18. might have just been a bad batch of cartos boge cartos are the best, and their 302 version is also great (works on 510 threads) check the bottom threads, if it's 510, listed as boge but not silver threads, it is NOT boge the only ones i have ever had that tasted bad were from bauway. those have gold threads and smell and taste just nasty, very plastic/rubber taste and smell. now the 302 by boge are actually gold threaded but are very good and is all i plan to use from here out. my guess, someone ran out of boge cartos and tossed in another set of bauway to complete the order or they some how got mixed up.
  19. i like 306 cartos, they work on any 510 device. they are a bit thinner but their performance seems better.
  20. my bad i was thinking pill mg not liquid. you cant think cig due to the fact that there are many other things in tobacco that you are addicted to. when most people start out vaping they chain vape like crazy. its not the nic they are missing its all the other chemicals that the body is trying to get. about a weeks time and its pretty much no longer an issue
  21. the entire bottle is 24mg thats 2.4mg of nic per ML you cant take that as a factor when thinking how much to vape to = a cig.
  22. i have only popped two attys, both while lighting up cigs, back when i was still smoking. my first 3 lasted 90+ days before i boiled them in almost straight vinegar. boiled it down to ash because i got side tracked. couldn't clean the ash out. anyways be happy with the amount of time you got out of them. they shouldn't really last all that long. like me using cartos from oct 8 2010 till just about 2 weeks ago. after that amount of time they didnt taste "great". you do what you can while your broke.
  23. the simple stacking of batteries is no more dangerious than using a single battery those that tell you that you can find wearing tin foil hats. BUT i will give them this. if a lithium battery is over or under charged/depleted the battery can vent. the fact that you have two batteries gives +1 to the % of venting. protected batteries are the only thing you should use. most people will say that lipo or high drain are safer. well their isn't any safety when you over deplete those as they dont come with protection. it's safer chemistry but you can still cause a fire with them and they can still vent. protected can have a faulty chip keeping it from over/under dis/charging. the % of you being injured is low enough to set it in the back of your mind; provided you take measures to ensure your own safety. 3.0v keep with 3.0v chargers 3.7v keep with 3.7v chargers when charging is done remove batteries if you dont use protected batteries MONITOR THEM CONSTANTLY for voltage levels take care of all your products and devices.
  24. i have heard that some cartos adjust. have ripped many apart and never seen any type of threading in them. until i see something with threading i'll chalk this up to myth. honesty i doubt any have threading in them. the threads would have to be put on the rubber gasket between the two metals, in order to adjust it would have to be made of a plastic type material to keep it from just slipping. however it may adjust the draw due to moving the + wire around in the tube. something i wouldnt advise doing as its placed as to not rest on the coil that runs threw the middle hole
  25. really sounds like you were cranking that battery onto there too tight. you dont need any force at all to put a battery on charge. juice wouldnt have made it stick. but do clean the contacts before putting onto the charger
