  1. Looks like a good deal. I use Genesis all the time. A friend sent me this link that she was looking at. http://www.myvaporstore.com/AGA_T_Genesis_Rebuildable_Atomizer_p/yd-aga-t.htm
  2. I have used atomizers almost exclusivelly and not cartomizers. I have been looking at the tank mods and it is a little confusing. Nhaler sells one for $45 and another twenty something. Other sites have varying prices. I'll pay for a good one but don't want to spend money I don't have to. Any thoughts? I use a Provari most of the time. I like the higher voltage. On that note single or duel cartomizers?
  3. I have vaped at the grocery store, movie theatre, restaurants, and Mariner's game. When I do this, I hold it in so not much vapor is seen. I haven't had any issues yet.
  4. I've had mine probably six months. They are fading fast. I haven't been that impressed with the whole setup. I'm going to order new ones soon. I only use the provari mostly on breaks at work and while driving. They need re-charged every day. I use a 5 volt passthrough most of the time. I am liking my LR atomizer on 3.7 volt device more and more.
  5. Purchased one. Worked for about a week, then stopped. Ego just hasn't been a good experience for me.
  6. I have had an ego before. The function was fine, but I went through about three different chargers. I purchased through reputable web sites. After a while I felt like it was better to go with a battery that could be replaced as I didn't have trouble with other charging methods.
  7. So, I have a provari and am reasonably happy with it. I have a silver bullet and use a LR atomizer and have been happy. I just need a smaller device that I can keep in my pocket at work. The provari and silver bullet are too bulky. I have considered the following: Baby bullet from altsmoke Provape-1 from provape Icon from puresmoker ego The ego is probably the most efficient small device, but if I decide to exclude it what do you think? Other suggestions?
  8. For the amount of money I spent on the ProVari, I find it way to tempermental. It goes through atty's like candy if you run it at higher voltage. I have tried different ohms on attys with mixed results. It seems that if I keep it at 4.1 volts they seem to last longer. I spent $250 on this set and I really question if it was worth it.
  9. I have not seen the eGo tank first hand. Does it require an adapter to use on the ProVari?
  10. I received my Joker around June 2010. It wasn't until I moved to a 5volt device that I was able to stop smoking. I now use 5 volt or LR attys. It made all the difference for me. Every once in a while I will start getting a craving. I will start one and can't even finish it because it tastes gross now. I vape a lot and only direct drip. I don't have any apologies for how much I do this. It was a struggle for me, but getting a 5 volt devise an moving to LR attys when not using 5 volt was the key for me.
  11. Thanks for the opinions. I ordered and received mine. It got here in about a week. Batteries are charging.
  12. How as the Provari been working out?
  13. I have a passthrough that I purchased six months ago from Pure Smoker. It is not working and they are not supporting it anymore. Does anyone know who makes a quality passthrough? I see one at Vaprlife. I would like to see some others, if there are any that are of quality. Thanks Sorry everyone. I see after looking there already has been a recent discussion about this.
  14. The suppliers section has changed. There used to be coupon codes. Are they gone or moved?
  15. Lets see. We are burning a chemical so we can get a chemical inhaled into our lungs. We are worried about a little compressed air?
  16. If you want to smoke a few a day then go for it. I wanted to completely stop and was finding it difficult. I moved to 5 volts and when using 3.7 with a low resistance atomizer. That made all the difference for me. I needed more nic hit and more vapor. I haven't had a craving for months now. It was hard for me until I moved up. I really enjoy vaping now. I like trying new flavors and consistently vape my favorite ones. Do what you want to do. If you want to fully quit, moving up helped me.
  17. Last week I flew Alaska Airlines to Orange County from SeaTac. I was careful. I put an ego battery and a couple of atomizers in my checked luggage and had an Ego in my carry-on. I went right through security. I wasn't questioned at all. I really wanted to take my Silver Bullet, but decided that it could be interpreted wrong. I didn't carry anything through the metal detectors that might go off. I didn't even carry change. While in Disneyland, I found a few out of the normal flow places and sat to vape. I also used bathrooms. I just held it in longer so there would not be as much vapor. I was a little worried about taking this trip and losing my vaping supplies to security, but had no problem. It was a good trip. Keith
  18. Have you tried the e-juice from greenhouse? How is it?
  19. I have ordered several times from awesome vapor lately. I like their juice, price, and service.
  20. I was about a pack and a half a day Camel smoker. I really struggled getting off them and just vaping. I moved to higher voltage and using low resistance atomizers when using 3.7 volts. That made all the difference in the world to me. I also moved up to 24ml. I vape a lot. If I'm not working or involved with something, I am vaping. I have been vaping for probably four months now. A couple of weeks ago I tried an analog and couldn't finish it. I also found that there are a few flavors I really like. That helped me go to it instead of an analog. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to move up in strength and see if it helps. I also view this as a new hobby. I read the forums and watch the videos. I enjoyed smoking. I enjoy vaping more. If I was to stop everything and fall off the wagon now it would be to vaping. I experimented until I found what works for me. You can find what works for you. Happy vaping.
  21. When testing an atty to see if it is blown with a meter, should there be no reading or a high one? I understand now where to place the positive and negative. I have experienced both readings when I have an atty in question.
  22. I have tried to look on the forum for this answer but haven't seen it. How do you test the ohm on an atty? I am new at this stuff. Thanks
  23. Recently, my joker seems to quickly go from a green light to blue quickly. I have noticed that if I slightly unscrew the bottom and tighten again the light goes back to green. Am I tricking the safety features by doing this?
