I love building my own coils. As a matter of fact I started using cotton wicks not all that long ago. The one thing you have to remember is to use untreated and unbleached cotton. If you don't then at least boil your cotton balls first. There is bleach and pesticides in cheap cotton balls. Boiling them works. I used to boil mine twice and then unroll them. From there I would place the cotton in front of a fan to air dry. I would boil a dozen at a time so I wouldn't have to do it often.

I like The PMMA helios clone. So sweet. Is that the one you guys have? It's like 6 bucks. Do those have the same ring?

does the helios clone have adjustable air flow like the original?

funny you say that I was thinking the same thing. Great looking mod. Have you looked into the version 2? Not much different., change in graphics and looks like different air flow. You can't use a 18650 with a kick but the ones that I've seen that you are able two look, preform, or are just too much cash. If you get one before I have a chance, please give me your opinion. I'm gonna order mine right from smoke tech.

I haven't seen pre built coils on fasttech. Just Wick and wire. Huh I must have missed it shame on me.

Your local vape shop may wrap coils for you. Mine did until I got what I needed

You could always try cartomizers you kind of drip them but they hold a little more juice.

What are the advantages of twisting wire? I've seen it done but don't know the differace

Can you twist 30 gauge kanthal? I guess the correct question is will it be payable enough to wrap?

You can make it brass color or purple or blue or even rainbow if it is stainless. I like options.
