    Hello everyone,

I just wanted to pop in and give a review for The Veteran Vaper. Being new to anything is always a learning curve and with some great help here on the forum from some great people, I was able to get started with some started items. So, thank you everyone who helped me out.

But, my main reason for posting is to say how awesome The Veteran Vaper shop is! Brian thank you so much for your help and the complimentary second Kanger tank , and the great free gift (Kanger EVOD) you sent me. I love it!! Works wonderful and I am enjoying using it very much. You are the best!!!!

Anyone who reads this - and is thinking of buying more items for your collection I definitely recommend The Veteran Vaper shop. From my long experience as a professional business person this shop has, what I like to call "Ethical Customer Service"! ECS for short. Providing customs with ECS will only bring them back again and again. That old saying "treat others as you would want them to treat you", well that is what ECS is all about and this company has it and more!

Thank you and I will be back to shop again

thanks you Tameiki & Troy, and everyone, for all the advice it is really appreciated. I am trying to learn as much as I can before making my next process. Having bought so many e-cigs kits up to this point before finding this great site. - My one concern was buying from different sites and having my goodies arrive and find they don't fit together. . That would be a real bummer!! So, knowing what I am "almost" doing would be great. LOL So, to simplify things a little for myself I am going just start get a starter kit using suggestion offered here and build from there.

    thank you again guys....

smokeless2013 got a reaction from Tam in has anyone tried this site?
Hi all, I don't know if this one has been shared as yet, but I wanted to post it as a BIG thank you for the kind welcome I received upon joining Vapor Talk. this place lets you name and make your own juice! Pretty cool. I have not tried it myself, but a friend of mine did. He said that his juice is awesome and they included "his recipe" choice on the order receipt and he commented on, how the shipping order was very personalize by the shippers. Things were checked twice and this was done by a signature. They also included a complimentary bottle. He also said it was inexpensive for the juice. Cheers... http://www.ecblendflavors.com/

Hi Tameiki, thank you for your suggestions. I am glad you talked more about the ratios between PG/VG because I am not really big on a huge throat hit even tho I like a lot of smoke. That was really helpful. here is a question... LOL ..How do I get a banner count on my profile that - " I have been smoke free for..." Love that...

Hi bcarter - Spearmint taste like doublemint gum!, Strawberry Fields, Juicy Peach, Blue Honey and Candy Cane, LOL I really am a newby! I would never have considered flavors like that. Only because I have always really disliked menthol cigs.

    Interesting!

now if I can only find all the choices in one order. I did want to start with a kit, but I am finding not all the kits have a lot of the suggestions. Like, I feel the 1300mah for me is important and of course the flavor is a important factor as well. I am also a eye candy temp person and I love the look of Vape Dupes! Silly as it sounds but, I am an artist and that kind of thing just crabs me. Love the Dragons!

As far as tobacco goes, I have found FOR ME, the only one close to the real thing is "Traditional Tobacco" from sweet-vapes.com. I order it in 80-20 24mg. The American Standard from VapeDudes has a strooooong Maple Taste to it, and I am not a fan of their Classic Tobacco either. The only flavors I do not get from VapeDudes are Tobacco flavors and have found that Sweet-Vapes.com and their line of "Signature Tobacco" and especially their "Traditional Tobacco" is as close as it gets.

For me the flavors I have in rotation are

Spearmint VapeDudes 70-30 24mg (I never once smoked a menthol, but the Spearmint tastes almost exactly like double-mint gum and I love it, has become an all day vape for me)

    Strawberry Fields VapeDudes 70-30 24mg

    Juicy Peach 80-20 24mg from sweet-vapes.com

    Traditional Tobacco 80-20 24mg from sweet-vapes.com

Just ordered 50ml of Blue Honey and Candy Cane (peppermint) from VapeDudes that shipped today, looking forward to trying those

Just a note, when I found the tobacco I liked I thought I was in heaven. Then as time passed I have found I am not fond of the flavor of tobacco as an every day vape. I reserve that flavor for when I am drinking beer or liquor and really want a smoke. It works, and for me is the closest thing I have tried but I would branch out and try different things.

Hi CascadianExotics, thank you so much! that is really helpful
LOL , thanks... and it is true... now if I could only find a mushroom big enough to hold me. hmmmmmm ???

    hi UMA,
glad you like it. that was one of my horses, and I added the wings. sorry to hear about your girl. I have had many horses that have gone home too, it is hard to see them go after so many years of friendship. That is my logo for one of my business, so I hope you don't steal it, that would not be cool.. But, maybe I can help. Do you have a picture of your girl? I would be happy to spread her wings for you. ...oh, thank you for your help. and I really appreciate the welcome too

Great analogy!!!! I'm a bit like that caterpillar, myself. Let me break this down for you. Theoretically, more VG=more vapor. However, you can get little vapor from 100% VG juice, and conversely get a ton of vapor from high % PG....all by using the right (or wrong) combination of equipment. Vapor is made by heating e-liquid, and drawing air across the heating element. Thus, more heat + more air flow = more vapor. Heat is produced by sending electrical power to a coil of resistance wire. More power does not necessarily mean more heat. 5 volts (the maximum a Spinner will put out) across a 3 ohm (standard resistance) coil will only produce around 7 watts of power. However, a fully charged Mod battery (4.2 volts) across a 0.8 ohm coil will produce over 22 watts of power!!!! This power is all for naught if you do not have the proper air flow. More power means you need a more airy draw on order to take advantage of the heat produced. What this means for you is this: If you get a standard eGo (3.5 volts) with a Low-Resistance cartomizer (1.5 ohms), and learn to properly draw off that setup, you will produce a ton of vapor in no time flat!!! Hope this wasn't too confusing for you. :p

I second the "mastering the art of the draw" comment. When I started I woudl take a hard drag, inhale, take another, inhale, and another, inhale and hold it like i was smoking "something else". Then I found a longer solid slow draw held in my mouth for a bit then inhaled produced the throat hit I was looking for. I also agree the Nic % is something to nail down. I use 24mg right now, and do not see backing that down any time soon. I also prefer more PG than VG because I like a god throat hit.

Another piece of advise is to not get too married to one flavor because you will stop tasting it after a while and when we quit smoking our tastes change. Flavors I loved at first are now just "ok" and flavors I wasn't crazy about are now my favorites.

Its an evolution type thing for me, I am thoroughly enjoying vaping now more than ever, because the guesswork is over. I know what set up I like, and have found 4-5 liquids I can vape all day. I do not see myself ever progressing to a "Mod" or anything like that as long as my batteries are replaceable once they wear out in a year or so. Ego style batteries should last around 300 charges, and I get around 24-36 hours between charges and rotate batteries. By my math my batteries should all last between 1.5 and 2 years.

wow, thank you guys so much. With all that info I have got a much better idea! I think I understand the basics and need to just try a kit with some of the great suggestions to find my Vap. I am still not completely sure about the Vapor ratio, VG/PG but I gotta start somewhere.

again thank you guys.... I really appreciate all your help!
