  1. I'm just now beginning to purchase 0 nic juice after working my way down from 24mg-ish. I spent my first 6 months with the 24mg, and dropped about 3mg every couple of months. The 3mg transitions were hardly noticeable until I went down to 0 nic (6mg is the lowest my local b&m offers aside from 0 nic). The transition from 6mg-0mg was a little rough, so I kept a 30mL of 6mg around juuust in case. Usually just dripping once or twice was enough to trick me into chilling the eff out about it.

Take it slow, and don't beat yourself up about it if you need to grab a higher strength juice every once in a while. Good luck! The reduction in throat irritation alone has made it worth it in my opinion.

  2. The simplest check would be to completely disassemble/reassemble your setup to see if you get the same results, using your old wick/coil if possible.

That said, it'd be easier to troubleshoot if we knew what you're using. Is this your first time replacing the wick/coil?

  3. Just received one today - 2.2ohm from Sweet-Vapes. Virtually identical to the single-coil attys, there's just another wick/coil slightly above and perpendicular to the original (with a slightly modified gasket to accommodate the second wick). Installed as easily as ever in my Vivi Nova STV. So far it's delivering a fantastic vape. There's the slightest bit more "gurgle" now, but it's still barely noticeable. The vape is full and cool at 3.7V, two things I've been looking for.

The only minor issue I'm seeing so far is that the wicks are just a bit too short. They don't quite reach the bottom of the tank, so earlier refilling will be necessary. I try not to bottom out my tanks anyway, so it shouldn't be a huge issue.

I'll update this as I continue using the atty.

  4. Well, received the Very Vanilla (70pg/30vg 12mg w/ double flavor) from Sweet-Vapes today. Smells and tastes JUST like a vanilla frosted cupcake! Getting very nice (and delicious!) plumes of vapor in my LT v3 with a 2.2ohm dual-coil Vivi Nova STV.

Again, I just received this today, so I'll have to wait a bit and see how the flavor develops.

Just a heads up, Sweet-Vapes individually mixes each batch to order, so they can give you that 30pg/70vg you're looking for. Hope this helps

  5. Well when I took my first vape, it was with high strength juice, and after the first 3 big hits dripping with a LR atomizer, I got so freakin dizzy I couldn't believe it. Right away I knew it was to strong, couldn't even sleep right away. Now I do the lowest strength, which is 0.8 nic %. Sometimes I feel that that is to weak, but I stick with it. I really need that throat hit though even if it's not big. My g/f smokes 0% nic, and no way could I do that, I'd probably just quit all together if 0 nic was my only option. But I absolutely agree with Northern Girl, much of the satisfaction for me comes from seeing a large, thick, billowing cloud exit when I exhale! No doubt about it. I could get plenty of nic in a hit but still wouldn't have the full satisfaction without a good cloud... Which makes me wonder... How many would still vape with very little or no cloud at all? Would simply injesting nicotine be enough? It would pretty much ruin it for me, I bet I wouldn't vape nearly as much... which then makes me wonder... How addicted to nic am I really...

I'm not addicted to nicotine nearly as much as I'm addicted to the act of smoking lol

  6. When I was initially quitting analogs, I used high-nicotene content e-liquid to compensate. I was a heavy smoker for about 15 years, and the added nicotene made it a breeze. Over the past 3 months I've cut that from ~24mg to 6mg. I suppose I'll keep weening til I'm vaping 0, it hasn't been bad at all. I find as the nicotene level in my e-liquid is dropping so is the number of "cravings" I've been having. I almost never "need" a vape anymore. :)

  7. I haven't personally tried the Spinner, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. My Vivia Nova tank has been fantastic so far, but it's the STV not the Mega. The price seems solid too... I may need to snag one of these.

My personal opinion though... Dive in! You'll be amazed you stayed on the Blus as long as you did :)

  8. I'd advise taking it with you but leaving it in the truck/lunchbox/etc. Somewhere safer than a pocket. In my (albeit limited) construction experience, we didn't have time to smoke til we took breaks. Not to mention it would be terribad to have your tank break and leak juice everywhere.

Might want to look into metal tanks. I just picked one up for my Vivi Nova at GotVapes, seems solid. But as Christopher mentioned, the weakest point is the connection. Not much you can do there that I'm aware of.

  9. Happily received my order last night!

The new metal tank for the Vivi Nova is very nicely machined (though a bit sharp... watch those fingers), and fits with my original Vivi hardware perfectly. Should be nice for those times I need a more rugged set up.

This Dulce de Leche though... It's starting to grow on me a little, but I was not a huge fan of the first few vapes. Going to give it some time and see how it develops. I will give it credit for it's packaging, nicer than the usual bottles.

Lastly the atomizers all arrived in great condition. The wicks all looked clean and unfrayed. I swapped a new atty onto my tank and it's working wonderfully.

  10. Picked up a new full metal tank for my Vivi Nova from GotVapes along with a few replacement attys. Also nabbed a 36ml of Dulce de Leche. Not a huge order or anything, but I'm still pumped.

I'm hoping the metal tank will help keep the liquid nice and cool (my mod stays in my pocket for most of the day). I haven't had the leaking issues other Vivi users have been reporting, so I hope it doesn't start when I switch to the new tank.
