  1. I remember I had one of these on the E-Cig forum. Thanks phillydes I forgot all about it!
  2. ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  3. Please take a moment to read our forum rules. When the ban hammer comes down "I didn't know" won't fly. We're a kick back forum with lots of information. All we ask is you take a moment to read these rules http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules
  4. Yea true. If the Penstyle produced the same amount of smoke at the Kissbox then I don't think I would purchase the Janty. Now if the DURA produced as much smoke/vapor as the Penstyle then I'd be on it tonight. Again something I suppose Parked could answer
  5. I was just thinking it would be great if you did that. You have my vote
  6. Sup Parked! Good to see an expert join the forums I've never been a tweet member but I just joined, first time for everything and parked just popped my Tweet cherry.
  7. Thanks the positive feedback is appreciated, I'm really trying to work on quality here and that "classy look" I figure we all Vape in front of our computer while on the forums so why not make it comfortable. Perhaps I should play some Jazz in the background! As for the traffic we will see! I'm on a fairly decent server right now but have the cash flow on hand to move to a bigger server if needed. (and within 48 hours) I get the feeling I'm going to have to purchase grid hosting of not my own set of dedicated servers. We're getting members by the day and E Smoke Talk isn't even on Google yet! (this forum has only been live for about 50 hours now)
  8. Ahhh ok that is quite a bit of vaping, although I do vape more and more as the weeks go by so the 901's could end up being my vaping choice. I lucky out here in California when it comes to shipping time form Steve, luckily for me he only lives about 2 hours a way. I was actually thinking about getting a Janty Kissbox (for home) kit and a Dura for on the go. I hear that the vapor production is great. There is a guy on Youtube with the username Parked who does some great reviews. I'll have to send him a message and bring him over to the forums.
  9. Wow way to go NJOY! I would love to see something like this happen at the Casino I work for out here in California. We have a huge customer base and a TON of smokers. I can guarantee that when these hit big time in the Casinos Mr.Phillip Morris is going to have a word...
  10. I read most of the PDF file, interesting find indeed!! So basically Ruyan is pist off that NJOY is doing so well and now wants to sue. That's really what I'm getting. Now to be honest I don't really feel bad for them especially because of their ridiculously high prices (Ruyan). Although NJOY isn't cheap, out of all the major manufactures they are the cheapest. If you notice the only place can you find the RN4081 cheaper than NJOY is through "mom and pop" type venues. So we should really give them credit for that, the only issue that I have is the cart prices. Those refill prices just aren't going to work. Especially because the carts don't last long at all. I plan to follow along with this and hope you do as well vacker. From what I can tell Ruyan is pointing fingers claiming patent violation, but doesn't have anything to back it up. Another interesting thought here, if they are going to go after NJOY for redistribution of "their product/a knock off" do you think Ruyan will start to go after the small companies as well? Such as Puresmoker and the Smokeless Shop?
  11. So awake up to see my wife has left my package on the kitchen counter today, woo hoo! I'm smoking the Riskee as we speak, vapor is great (I'm using a brand new automizer) but throat kick is very small. I'll have to be honest though I sorta like it. I'm not going to say to much on the flavor as I just got out of bed and still have morning breath. Let me brush my teeth and I'll vape a little bit more
  12. I've only tried the Marlboro carts and your right about the smell. Overall though it really doesn't taste much like a Marlboro analog, but hey it's still better than Nicolette! (If you have ever chewed the gum it tatstes like crap)
  13. I also smoke the Peewee/Supermini I have to say I really enjoy it. I smoked a couple analogs yesterday because I ran out of juice but I just got a fresh shipment of juice from Steve. Vaping away as we speak! I'm curious to know about the performance on the Classic Penstyle compared with the 901, in terms of vapor production I'd be intrested to hear a review from you. I'm going to check out thesmokelessshop and perhaps order the DSE starterkit. Does your DSE produce much more vapor than the Super Mini? Also I'm suprised at just how little time people get out of their PeeWee batteries, about how often and for how long do you vape with it? I have at times been able to get a good 4 hours out of my SuperMini.
  14. Hey phillydes welcome to the forum. I was also on the E-Cig forum, sad to see them go. I have a feeling he's using to much CPU so his host has shut him down for a while. Stewie kick *** by the way
  15. Welcome to the forums three_sixteen! There used to be a great online forum that has since gone down that taught me quite a bit. Hence the reason I started this one, 6 users in 24 hours, not to bad. Mostly from my video on Youtube I think. As for the Tobacco companies I just can't see them taking to this at all, sure they could jump on the bandwagon but with the patents held in China I think there is more of a chance they will buy the companies out and bury the technology before they will ever sell the Electronic Cigarettes. But I suppose only time will tell. My hope is that it just stays legal in the United States as a few counties have already banned the technology unfortunately. Good luck with your NJOY! The NPRO is the same the RN4081 model one of which I own, some say it doesn't create a lot of vapor but my Super Mini (NPRO) vapes just fine. Look into getting some E-Liquid from Puresmoker.com or Wicked E-Liquid. It tends to have a better throat kick and I noticed much more vapor being produced. Check out This Thread for info on different models it will help you in the future when buying more E-Smokes (and trust me you will want to purchase more!): http://www.esmoketalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9
  16. Hey Mike welcome to the forums. I would have to say Puresmoker.com has the best deals by far. Njoy would be next in line. There prices are pretty reasonable compared to some of the Mall stores. If your looking for a quality products with tons of Vapor Janty is definitely the way to go. Really depends though on your needs and how much you already smoke.
  17. So I was browsing Steve's site tonight and noticed he has some new E-Juice Flavors Check it out: https://www.puresmoker.com/SearchResults.asp Looks like he's catching up a bit with Janty. I wonder how good the Chocolate is
  18. So I had an issue with my battery not to long ago in which I would take a hit on my E Smoke and the light would go dim or flicker before I finished taking a drag. I thought my batteries was going bad but turns out there was a way to fix it that may work for everyone else. If you have issues with your battery follow these steps 1. Unscrew the battery from the atomizer 2. Blow and Suck (easy kids) on the battery FROM THE L.E.D. side. Do this about 3 times, 3. Then again smoke from the other side as if you had the atomizer on. Do this also about 3 times Apparently this helps loosen the switch inside. Who knows, but it worked for me and I'm getting consistent drags again. Hope this tip works for you!
  19. As it turns out we are in such crappy state here in California that the state may Issue IOU's instead of tax returns! Now that's bad. Take a look at this... Calif. taxpayers may get IOU instead of tax refund By JUDY LIN, The Associated Press 4:41 p.m. January 14, 2009 SACRAMENTO — In just a few weeks, California is expected to begin issuing state refunds to more than 10 million taxpayers – a welcome injection of cash into the ailing economy. There's just one catch: The state may delay the checks or issue IOUs instead. California, the most populous state in the nation, is running out of cash with a $41.6 billion deficit that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and lawmakers have thus far been unable to resolve despite more than two months of negotiations. The situation is so dire that the state controller has warned he will have to delay payments to taxpayers, businesses, social service programs and student aid to conserve money in the state's checking account. Finance officials project the state will run out of cash in late February, but the state controller will have to make a decision by Feb. 1. It would be the second time the state has issued IOUs on tax refunds since the Great Depression but the first time it would be felt widely because the delay comes in the middle of tax season. For residents such as Cheryl Hubbard, 62, a home care worker from Pasadena, a missing tax refund would throw another wrench in her already tight budget. She said her schedule at her $8-an-hour job already has been slashed by half due to the budget crisis. "I feel bad because we always end up using it to pay bills," said the grandmother, who is planning to use her refund this year to fix her car. "At one time, people looked forward to their taxes for things they wanted. Now they use it for things they need. If we can't get our tax refunds, we can't pay our bills." According to the Franchise Tax Board, the state returned $10.7 billion to individuals and businesses last year. The average state refund was $853 for individuals and $13,284 for businesses. The state normally borrows cash to cover operating expenses until tax revenues come in at the second half of the fiscal year. But this year, the state is collecting billions less in sales, income and business taxes while it has struggled to obtain loans in a tight credit market. To slow the bleeding, the state last month froze financing on thousands of infrastructure projects in California, halting nearly $4 billion in loans for everything from freeway interchanges and carpool lanes to classrooms. A state panel is scheduled to decide Friday which critical projects to save. Mac Taylor, the Legislature's nonpartisan analyst, released a report Wednesday ahead of the governor's annual State of the State address. It signaled California would fall into a cash abyss unless elected leaders act quickly. "If the massive budget gap is not addressed promptly, the state's insolvency may significantly erode for years to come the confidence of the public – as well as investors – in state government itself," Taylor wrote. State Controller John Chiang has not said whether he will delay or issue IOUs on tax refunds. But Taylor noted that IOUs could bear up to 5 percent in interest costs to the state. Beth Mills, a spokeswoman for the California Bankers Association, said banks have not made a decision on whether they would accept IOUs. Mills said the organization has asked the controller's office to clarify a number of questions, including what the IOUs would look like, when banks could cash them and how much interest the state would pay. "Right now, there's really a lot of unanswered questions," Mills said. The last time the state issued IOUs was for two months in the summer of 1992, when many banks cashed the registered warrants for a short time to cover state tax refunds, vendor payments and other expenses, according to the legislative analyst. State employees who received IOUs sued and won on the argument that it violated the federal Fair Labor Standards Act. However, few taxpayers felt the pinch of that because it happened in July, months after the majority of residents file their income taxes. This time, though, the state must continue to make payments to schools, debt, state employees' wages, Medi-Cal claims and court-ordered obligations. John Eastman, dean of the law school at Chapman University and an attorney who has represented anti-tax groups, said issuing IOUs also could invite lawsuits from individual taxpayers. Lon Sobel, a professor at Southwestern Law School, said it's best for people expecting refunds to file early, but a recent federal extension on Form 1099 income statements from Jan. 31 to Feb. 15 could hamper their ability to do so. "When taxpayers are late paying their taxes, the state of California charges and collects interest," Sobel said. "I don't know whether the interest goes in the other direction."
  20. Great Idea Vacker, I'm also going to sticky this topic To my knowledge the brands are as follows (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) This is the Penstyle AKA: NJOY/Sedansa/Classic Penstyle ECig/DSE801/RN4072/Other/Generic Penstyle Comes In: 2 hole version and 4 hole version _______________________________________________________________________ This is the Mini AKA: DSE-901/DSE-901b/Sedansa Nano I/Pocket Mini ECig _______________________________________________________________________ This is the SUPER Mini (They like to use the word mini alot) AKA: RN4081/DSE103/NPRO/Great White/Peewee/Supermini This is the version that you will see on most websites. _______________________________________________________________________ Here is the E-Pipe AKA: Ruyan/DSE-601/Other/Generic E-Pipe _______________________________________________________________________ They also have some supermini's that have a built in automizer in each cart. (Such as Smoke51.com) AKA: Loongtotem supermini/E-cig minicig/Smokingeverywhere/Fifty-One _______________________________________________________________________ And of course last...The Screwdriver! What a beast. I wouldn't be caught dead smoking this thing. I would just feel like a crack head. No offence to other Screwdriver smokers I can't find a picture of that at the moment, but will update as soon as I do.
  21. Oh yea that's right I forgot you where at the other pad. I'm interested to see how well they taste. Better be awesome for the shipping time.
  22. Good news to say the least. I'm going to do a couple searches on the US patents. I do believe it looks like Janty is going to be here to stay. I also think NJOY is based out of Arizona and if either one of them realize the potential long term profit margins they will fight back against RJ and Marlboro.
  23. Did you ever get your new order of wicked Eliquid shipped in yet?
  24. Interesting, seems that most of the tax goes for a better cause, that is, if it actually goes to whom they say it does. Now what would be interesting to note is whether or not there is sales tax on smokes as well. If not then California could bring in close to the same amount of taxes with sales tax alone. (If everyone moved over to E-Smoking) The other concern we should have isn't just the taxes but the big tobacco companies. If they realize (and I'm sure they are fully aware of this new technology) just how well it's working, it could potentially put them out of business. And we all know that many of our congressman and senators are deep in the pockets of big companies like Marlboro. The good thing is that there are now quite a few companies selling Electronic Cigarettes which is a start. I was looking up some patents that I found when viewing another Online Cig Forum that stated a very similar technology came out back in the 90's however Marlboro bought the rights to it and it was never seen again. I have no doubt that some of the companies in China would be willing to sell out in a heart beat. Especially with the type of Cash Flow these Tobacco companies have.
