  1. Yes, changing the settings will change the flavors. heat changes the taste of any substance. It will also, in the case of vaping, will increase throat hit and possible burn. I think it is one of the reason there are so many different versions of the equipment. Either a good understanding of electrical physics or a good bit of trial and error is really required to find the "sweet spot". And that sweet spot can change for different juices.

If the waters are not muddied enough yet, just wait. Those who have VVs and other mods will really get going. I still use the simple eGo batteries with clearomizers. If I see more info on if the Joyetech eVic working with clearomizers I may have to get into one, but that will be when my current batteries dont hold a charge anymore.

  2. I have found this happens fora few reasons.

    1. you dont have enough juice.

    2. the Nic level is too high - especially for a non-smoker.

    3. too much power in an adjustable system.

I stopped smoking a long time ago. i have found that I dont even vape as much anymore while I am out. however, I am a vape ***** at home while at the computer or watching TV. I have also noticed I dont snack anymore either, since the vaping has taken that over for me.

Took me a while to find a sweet spot on the nic levels, and my go to across the board is 11mg. anything higher and the throat hit is terrible and I get headaches and stomach aches. I am not using a variable system, so I cannot adjust the power of mine, but I have read that others have had good success.

    Good luck.

  3. You will get the same opinions in your own post as are already written up in detail in other posts. We all started on different systems and we all like different systems, and i bet most are not on the same system they started on. I am not. I went from BluCigs to Joyetech eGos with tanks.

Get off the internet and find a brick and mortar store that sells them (most larger cities do, now) and get hands on.

  4. I am wondering just how much you are vaping in comparison to when you would smoke. I found I vape more than I ever smoked, and no matter what the ingredients, any injested/inhaled substance in the right amount is a poison. You can die from drinking too much water. I think you just may be over doing it. The one thing I can say for Blu, I love their vanilla cartridges - still my favorite. their ingredients are normal, nothing overtly chemical.

I would get an upset stomache from any juice with more than 18ml of nic. my sweet spot is between 10 and 18. A friend of mine cant do the PG, only the VG, and another friend is the opposite. For me, 50/50 is fine (which is nice as that is the most common.)

  5. Ok, so I put in some 100% VG juice into my CE4 Clearomizer and it was going great. Probably went through 6.4 ml of juice and then it started to taste burnt. Also, looked kinda gummed up where the wick went into the center part. I don't have the rebuildable versions. Well, in order to attempt to clean it, I poured out the juice that was in it, let it drain for a while and then flushed it with some vodka. I rinced and repeated this a few times, then let it soak for a couple hours then poured it out and let it dry for a few more. I filed it back up with some 50/50 PG/VG and am using it again without any gummed up wicks or burnt taste. I have a few questions.

    1. Is this the best way to clean these tanks?

    2. Is this a known issue with 100% VG juices?

    3. Is there a better tank for for 100% VG juice?

    4. Should I stick with PG/VG mixes instead?

    Thanks in advance.
