  1. haha Jeff, I like your way of thinking! I guess as I become a veteran vaper, it will stop bothering me, but right now I just wanna smack 'em! >:/
  2. "Krave" was the only one I tried (for 2 days)before going to my Tornado-T (now 118 days)...Krave was awful! Very little taste, zero resistance and ZERO throat hit. Only a couple of flavor choices, and not refillable, it was disposable, so whatever flavor it was, was the flavor I was stuck with until the 400 drags were gone. I love the refillables because I can switch up flavors with my mood, or if I just get tired of one flavor, after a tank full or even half-way thru!
  3. I am 118 days analog-free. Of course, being the caring soul that I am, I have suggested and touted e-cigs to many people. I have been able to turn several, including my mother (a 50 year smoker!!) but I have also had several nay-sayers ask "so when are you going to quit that thing too? youre still addicted, just replacing one bad thing for another" Does anyone else get this from people? Grrr it makes me SO mad! Where's the support you nay-sayers?? What the heck do you WANT from us former smokers???? We're trying, sheesh!
  4. Jayden, vaping is NOT "unhealthy"...any more so than drinking coffee. I did tons of research, and visited literally 50 or more webpages discussing the issues surrounding the e-cig. All studies show that, yes, nicotine is a "drug"...of the SAME class as caffeine. I am sure this Dr is not and would never, push for non-smokers to start the e-cig, but thank God he realizes that we smokers (former smokers, sorry!) are a bullheaded bunch, and we HAVE TO replace cigarettes with something. That is human psychology at it's heart...it's just a fact. Some quitter replace cigs with food, some with alcohol, some with nail biting, biting pens, jingling keys incessantly etc etc, which, by the way, most often results in a return to smoking. This Dr realizes that the e-cig is a permanent alternate possibility for smokers. I say yay and God bless him! Thanks.
  5. Oh yeah, Ive had days like this too! Where nothing wanted to work right...but I seem to always be able to fix it or have a back-up. I have 2 batteries, 2 clearomizers and 2 cartomizers, and keep PLENTY of fluid on hand at all times! My worst fail day to date was recently when I left one battery on charge at home and was having my daughter bring it and my charger and adapter to me at work. As she was putting my grandson in her car, she put the whole set-up on top of her car and we never saw it again! The place I get my supplies was closed because it was Sunday, but thank God there is a kiosh at our local mall that also sells them! So needless to say, my daughter made quick work of getting out there to pick me one up! lol I now have 2 chargers! Double up on everything folks!
  6. Darlin, welcome to the world of non-smoking! You will cough up some nasty nasty stuff in the next several weeks. That is your lungs saying THANK YOU, and expelling all that tar that built up in them. But after awhile, you will realize that IF you cough, it's not coming from deep in your lungs anymore, but rather some of the stronger e-liquids can tickle your throat and make you have a shallow temporary cough. Good luck, congrats and keep up the good work! Im further into it than you and smoked for 27 years, tried every other way known to man to quit, and Im telling you it is WORTH IT to stick with it and refuse to EVER put another cancer stick to your lips!
  7. OMG yes! The smell is horrible! I am an EMT with the ambulance service in my county, and now, when I get in the back with a patient who smokes, or have to go into a house where a patient smokes, it literally makes me nauseous! It's just this awful putrid smell that actually burns my nose, I am appalled to realize that is how I use to smell. My lovely sweet husband told me recently that he never would say anything about the smell (he's a non-smoker) but that he is so glad I quit because he says I smell awsome now. He says even my hair smelled that way! Gross! I notice, now, he will come up and put his nose in my hair and hug me....quite often. Something he never use to do. The e-cig has not just given me my life and health back, it has given me special things in my marriage that have brought he and I closer. I tear up when I think or talk about it what I missed out on. If smokers only KNEW what it's like to NOT be imprisoned by those cancer sticks! And how wonderfully tasty the e-cig is! Wish I could convert them all! Im trying, one by one, starting with those close to me. I recently was able to convert my best friend and my mother! Im so proud of them both!
