That's exactly why I'm asking. I'm vaping, and learning all I can so that I can try to get her to switch more easily. I've been direct dripping, but I don't think that'll be the way to go for my wife. I haven't tried doing anything with using or filling carts yet, but was thinking that would be the best way to go for her. I think the easier it is for her, the more willing she will be to try it and stick with it. Changing and refilling and cleaning will not be appealing to her, but if I can find a cart or cart mod (have looked at some here) that has a decent life before refilling, then I could keep her set up and all she'll have to do is change the cart. Yesterday is the 1st day I've vaped all day, and I only had 2 analogs (1st thing in the morning when I was fighting with that bad atty) and that was at 4:30am. Given that I went all day and had no desire to "smoke", even preferred to vape, she's now showing some interest.

I think the simple answer is: Yes - the spade works with the 510 atty and even comes with a 510 atty.

Yep, it's my Christmas present, and will go along with with PT and stockpile of atty's I'll be ordering soon. Christmas coming was a good way for me to justify to myself that it's okay to spend the money - it's for Christmas!

I have a great deal of respect of officers of the law and it irks me terribly when I hear people bashing cops as a whole. It takes something special to put you life on the line every single day, and to do it for a mediocre income at best.

Is there something special about these caromisers? Seems awfully expensive for 5 carts... do they last for a long time or something?

I have two 510 kits, and just got a Spade so I have 5 atty's and wasn't very concerned about running out yet. However, I will be ordering some more tonight or tomorrow. I'll make sure I'm always well stocked. I have 2 wall charges and a usb charger and about 190 ml of juice also. Plus I'm certain Santa will make sure I'm taken care of this year. @Stu - I took you advice from the other post and boiled that bad atty. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Glad I'm color blind... don't what what color the darn light is. At least now I'll know what to try if my battery doesn't charge.

Guess this answers my question. Since I have a Spade, was wondering if I should get a VP2 and what the difference was. My Spade is put up for Christmas so I will have to vape vicariously through those of you who are bragging on them.

I had read about cleaning the atty on some other threads, but didn't think I need to worry about for a while. Also, in Chris' beginner's guide I think he said never boil them, the I saw that a lot people do, then there were discussions of other ways to clean them. Given all that, I figured I'd worry about it later. However, I do have one new atty that just not right, so I'm trying it. It's cooling as we speak. @Stu - You saying you boil you atty's after a couple of days use? Always (or most of the time)?

Well, today's my 5th day vapin'. I've only been vaping in the evenings, so today is the 1st day I'll be vaping all day. When I first started I was having to draw really hard to get a good vapor, even then it wasn't like what I've seen in any of the vids. However, I was still enjoying it. Then it became tempermental. Got to where I'd put in a few drops and only get one or two good vapes, then hardly anything. Then it would seem fine for a while, then nothing. Then I would flood the atty. After several times of having to blow it out I was starting to get frustrated. On Friday I got my Spade and the VT collection. I'm putting the Spade up for Christmas, but was anxious to try the VT juice that I hear so much about. So I eagerly put in a few drops of Tobacco (per Keenan's recommendation)and took a draw with anticipation and... let's just say I was highly disappointed. At this point it still hadn't occurred to the that I had a bad atty because it was still getting hot. So, once again I blew it out and blew and wiped off the battery connections, but still didn't get much. From there I called Chris some choice names for selling crappy juice (jk) and went off to bed. This moring I cleaned it again, but to no avail. I finally came to my sences and decided to put on a new atty. OMG! Right off the bat I got better vapor than I did with the 1st atty, and after 30 minutes this thing really kicked in. What a beast! Also, the unexpected throat hit just about knocked me out of my chair and I got to experience the newbie choke. Quite a kick. So now all is right with the world and I'm a happy camper. @Chris - love the juice man - Great Stuff!

Are the Titan 510 atty's the same as the Joye510? I've heard they are, but are they the same manufacturer? Looks like a pretty good price of $35 shipped for 5 atty's. If they're not the same manufacturer, has anyone used them?

I think I'm about to have a bad day... I think I'm about to pass a kidney stone. Last time I had this feeling, I passed a stone the next morning. I hope not, but it's feeling like it. As for computer's, I gave up on store baught 'puters. After having a few of them crash I decided to build my own. Built my first one about 4 years ago (for my wife). It's running XP and I've never had a problem with it. That one was built pretty cheap, but works great. Six months later I build mine, and went a little overboard, but it's fast. I had XP on it and upgraded to Vista. Never had a single problem with it either. I know everyone hates Vista, but I like it and haven't had any problems with it. It's been very stable for me. Perhaps a beer hat... giant battery on one side, giant bottle of juice on the other? Planning to get the VP2 as soon as it's in stock, but maybe I should wait a little while. Back to what Jeff said though... Got my 510's. Before that arrived I ordered a Spade. Since the spade is for Christmas, I'll probably have a VP2 before I even use the Spade. @CNubel - Great post! As the market grows it will become a more profitable venture and there will be an innovation explosion.

Got mine today too. However, I promised that I'd put it up 'til Christmas. We'll see how long that lasts. he he he Got VT juice too, but that's not for Christmas to I'll sampling soon!

First, welcome to the VT forum! I'm sure someone will be along to correct me soon, but I believe the juice is in mg per ml, so a 24mg bottle is 24mg per each ml. A cigarette has about 10 mg, but only 1-2 mg is actually inhaled. I would say one cartridge is probably the same as 5-10 cigarettes at best (but easily refilled), but it's really going to vary from person to person. Same thing for a cigarette... one person may get 10 drags, another may get 15. I've found in vaping you rally can't equate "puffs" to smoking a regular cigarette. I'm a newbie, been vaping 3 days now and love it. I'm only vaping in the evenings to start while I get use to it, but plan to drop the regular cigarettes this weekend. It's looking like it'll be pretty easy right now. Spend some time reading the forum, and I'm sure you'll be getting a lot of other reply's soon. This is a great place to learn and everyone is very supportive and helpful.

Welcome! You're taking the same path I did... ordered the 510 and before I got it also ordered the Spade. Darn close to breaking down and ordering the PT also. I've had my 510 for 3 days and love it. What I've learned in 3 days - (advise from a fellow newbie) if you lose vapor you've either flooded the atty or you just need to let it cool down for a few minutes. I also found that the juice that came with the cartridges wasn't that great, so don't judge your first vape based on that. Try something else. You'll find this forum very helpful and friendly. That is a good idea. Was also thinking maybe suppliers could include a VT card or some note about VT when they ship out orders. Might improve success rates. On a similar note, when I first started investigating ecigs, I started with google/yahoo searches for "electronic cigarette" and what I got was Smoking Anywhere and a lot of shady looking sites. After quite a bit of looking I started noticing the work "vapor" a lot, so I searched for "vapor cigarette" and that's when I found VT. Not sure how search engines work, but would be good if you could get this site picked up under some other key works like "ecig", "electronic cigarette", etc.

I ordered the VT collection with my Spade, so I'll have some soon. I tried some chocolate today, but went right back to the 555. I've got some Virginia too, will try it soon.

Thanks guys. Using a 510. Just tried direct dripping a couple of drops of 555 and WOW! Tastes great and a nice throat hit. Don't have to draw as hard either. Definately on the right path. Now that I've tried the 555 I can say the stuff that came with the kits is CRAP (by comparison). Again - thanks to everyone here!

Okay - finally vapin'! Took my first draw, all prepared for the harsh vapor everyone talks aobut, but it didn't happen. Took about 4 drags before I got some quality vape, but it's smooth as can be... not a single cough. So... 1st question - Man, this thing gets hot! Does that just man I need to slow down? Seriously, normal to get pretty hot? Cools down pretty fast, but it looks like chain vaping is out of the question. As for being smooth, the throat hit is very weak. I've got the MBL-High (24mg I think) that came with it. I'll try the Virginia and 555 I got to see if it makes any difference. I'll see how it goes for a few days also... may get better after the atty is broken in. Could just be that my head is completely stuffed up and I can't taste or feel anything... maybe that's a good thing... make for a smoother transition. Bottom line - I like! Hold up - Just figured out something! Don't baby this thing... I can't believe I'm about to say this, but you have to suck it hard. Makes a world of difference! Good throat hit now.
