  1. Hello, I am in the Tri-Cities area of WA and go to Spokane on occasion, meeting half way might be good, ( Moses Lake halfway?) anyway, trying to get a WA state group together in another thread in this section. Vape On!
  2. Hello all, DannyBoyFromWashington here. As my name implies I am in washington state and don't know of any vaping clubs around here so I figgure we might as well start one if we get enough interest. Post here if you live in the washington/oregon/idaho area and are interested in getting together as a group to meet fellow vapers near you and plan some events I am in south east WA so commonly go as far as Coeur D'alene, ID. / Hermiston, OR / Spokane, WA and occasionaly up to Seattle, WA. Vape ON!
  3. I have an ego-t and having the same issue with a hard draw and unsatisfactory flavor/throat hit.
  4. I think e-cigs in general right now are use at own risk lol, but that seems to be the safest thing I have found, and the possibility of inhaling glass dust or particles once it is whetted with e-juice is infinitesimal. But I was just curious if anyone knew yet what the normal 510 atty uses?
  5. Quiting with e-cigs is not foolproof but it does take alot less willpower than any other method I have tried (tried patch, gum, inhaler, etc,....). Stick with it, there are alot better products out there now than when I switched. I am sure you will find one that works for ya.
  6. Hey guys, I am on the final stages of my repairable atty prototype and I am wanting to get the best and safest wicking material for it. I have been considering fiberglass yarn http://www.wickstore...s__1284-50.aspx , http://www.oillampma...wick.html#wicks. here is the msds on it http://www.nafaa.org/glassmsds.pdf. So my question is, Is this the stuff to use?
  7. Definite +1 Gonna have to get me some resistors of that sort and solder up an atomiser attachment after seeing this. Good thing I have saved every dead atty and batt and disected them for parts
  8. The "Death Box of Undying"? ( skull on the box but alot healthier than analog ) hehe. Great work, keep it up
  9. I am sure there is an adapter that can go from a 4081 to a 510 somewhere, wordupecig has quite a few adapters.
  10. Ok, fine,..... tax season is coming up soon,... guess I'll have to get one :P
  11. http://www.resistanc...e.php?page=home has a HUGE! variety of nichrome resistance wire or N6 resistance wire. I believe a typical 510 atty uses about a 26 gauge nichrome wire? not positive on that though. aeroconsystems.com/cart/products/Nichrome_C_Wire_30_foot_Spool-115-47.html also has nichrome c wire in smaller spools. http://www.wickstore.com/Products/Unbraided-Round-Fiberglass-Yarn-18-10-Yards__UBG-250.aspx has rolls of 1/8" unbraided fiberglass yarn that would seem to be a good wicking material for an atomiser.
  12. Welcome to vapor talk and sorry to hear about your lungs hurting. Let's see if we can figgure this out. When you vape do you breath directly into your lungs all the time or do you slowly pull the vapor into your mouth then inhale just a little ways? This can make a large difference since the nicotine (which can be a constrictor) would hit your lungs directly if you breath all the way in. It is generaly preferable to fill your mouth with a long soft pull and then inhale just a little ways, since nicotine absorbs just as well in the mouth and throat as it does in the lungs. Also the mouth and throat are less likely to be affected by the constrictive properties of nicotine. Others may have more to add to this, and it may well be that you are coming down with something like Nana said (but let's hope not ) Again, Welcome and I hope it gets better for you.
  13. Well I am sure it is not 100% safe ( is anything?). But I do know it is prety dang safe since they have used it in alot of hospitals as base for nebulization treatments and for cleaning, as well as in hospital grade air fresheners and ventilation systems. Also there is the study printed in time magazine about medicinal benefits of the vapor against airborn viruses. So considering all the good that has been found about it's use in the air and the lack of bad given the same ammount of time, I would have to conclude for now that it is either equaly harmfull or less harmfull than the air breathed while walking down a city street. just my $0.02
  14. The only time I would worry about leaving it plugged in for too long would be on a laptop since the drain on it would shorten usage time on the laptop.
  15. Ok, he finaly had a chance to check some records and confirmed "Propylene-Glycol USP grade"
  16. Just because there are others being reckless does not justify them. And if the parents did not understand the risks of the internet they need to crawl out from under their rock and seek psychiatric help. Ask any judge, ignorance of the law does not justify someone breaking it. The internet can be as dangerous as driving a car, would you hand your 7 yr old child the keys to your car? No? Then do not hand them the metaphorical keys to the internet.
