most places that sell ego batteries all come from the same place so it just depends on what the vendor paid for them to determine the price they sell em for. usually they only differ by about +/- $5. the ego brand is a very good quality brand and unless you get that one in a million dud you cant go wrong. mikes right to recommend the ego-c twist. it is one great battery! and you gotta think. buying the kit is a one time price. after i got my kit i get by on about $30 a month! compared to $30 a week.... as for that all day vape... go with the higher mah batteries. my twist lasts me all day and then some! and im a HEAVY vaper... go with ego and you wont be disappointed! good luck and happy vaping! oh and welcome to the forum!

not sure. kinda starting to have the same thing happen to me. my bobas bounty is just not orgasmic anymore... lol its dulling out. i have a very strong fruity flavor pearberry and strawnana which are great, i also have blend 4 which is like a really nice cigar and gorilla juice which is bobas to a t plus some banana and is a tad sweeter than bobas. and they are all fine but my bobas is dying! im interested in seeing what others have to say about this. ive kinda let off the bobas for a while. ive tried everything you mentioned and s far nothing. i guess we just need to focus more on other flavors for a bit and see if the lack of a certain fav will bring the flavor back! oh god i hope so!!! god luck to you sir!

like uma said, the twist is a wonderfull battery. althought if you looking for battery length your not gonna find to many "dainty" batteries.... plain and simple. when i first started i went with white cloud and while they were mind blowingly expensive they did the trick... (to get me to quit analogs)they are the size of a 100 cigarette and shorter the smallest device tops $250!!!. if your a heavy smoke the BEST thing to try is an ego style battery. yes they are a tad on the non dainty size but they are power houses! the ego-c twist is a great device but if your trying to find your way id just go with a set voltage device like a regular ego battery. a reg ego battery runs from $15 to the kit around $40. the twist is about $25 and the kit about $50 if you know what you like and want to achive it the best way possible for not alot of money. id recommend the ovlae v8. its a gripper style mod and looks a little like a bomb detonator and would not recommend taking on a flight... lol but other than that it blows my mind every single time i take a hit... if you are really sierious about quiting youll put aside the size portion of your search. either that or just have a TON of backup batteries... best of luck to you and happy vaping! as for attachments i personally LOVE the DCT (dual coil cartomizer tank) find it here http://www.madvapes.com/dual-coil-510-tank-cartomizer-35ml-blue.html they last all day and never have to refill... the vison clearomizers are great as well...

i was looking at the gripper and the ovale v8. i went with the ovale. and i have to say im very impressed. like the gripper it is smaller than i thought. and it takes two 18350's. this thing is a power house! it blows my socks off every time i hit it. its built like a rock! i dont know where you were looking at the ovales' but the i paid $4 less for my ovale kit. http://www.smoktek.com/Sigelei-Ovale-V8-Kit--Variable-Voltage-PV--3-6-volt--black-matte_p_351.html i call it my bomb detonator... lol the kit also comes with a 510-ego adapter so it can fit the vision clearo it comes with. i believe they made a new version which i got which has a flushed threading instead of a recessed threading so it can take dct's no problem. i gotta say for $50 this is a win win. i highly recommend checking it out...

ok so ive been wanting to get this mod for quite some time and it finally came today! i got this from smoktek.com (not smoktech.com mind you) and they are based out of Pinellas Park, FL. i ordered it monday night and got it wednesday. now my overall opinion right out of the box was awesome! i got the rubberized style and i would not get anything else! its not slippy or greasy. it is pretty rugged from what ive seen thus far. ive only had it for about 6 hours so far. the kit is $49.99 and comes with the body, 2 18350-900mah batteries, the charger for said batteries, a 510 to ego adapter, and a vision clearomizer. out of the box i found it a bit tricky to get the batteries in without bending or breaking the springs due to the tight fit. not that big of a deal. you can clip the springs a coil or two if this is to much of a problem. now i say this is the new version 1. cuz he website said it was... lol and 2. instead of having recessed threads it now has a flush conector so you do not need an adapter to use a tank. although you need the adapter to use the clearomizer or any other attachment that has recessed threading. onto features, it has the trusted and loveable 5-click on/off setting. and two buttons to increase or decrease the voltage by .01v at a time. ive read from other reviews that its easy to hit the volt buttons while vaping but ive not had this happen yet and dont really se it happening to me imho. it also has overheating cutoff features and all the protection you need, so i say its a pretty safe device. the charger also has a overcharge cutoff function so you dont have to worry about leaving them on the charger for too long. now performance. WOW all i gotta say is wow... right outta the box it blew my mind. i threw the batteries in and slapped on my dct and it was making clouds! i then filled up the vision clearomizer with some (hangsen) flu cured also from smoktek.com and prob one my fav tobac flavors! that clearo really shines with flavor! so far with performance it has blown away all my other devices, i have two kgo's and an ego-c twist. while i love them all.... the ovale v8 is my new pride and joy, could not be happier! downsides... not to many, yet, only been using it for about 6 hours now so only time will tell everything. but one i read is that the numbers representing the current voltage are inaccurate, by about .03 volts so its best to start low and go by taste. not a big deal for me being im relativly new to vv and not too worried about numbers and all, as long as i get a good vape. second is the size. i thought it would be a tad bigger, again not that big of a deal but hey. overall i give the ovale v8 a 9.5/10. not a perfect 10 cuz of the inaccurate voltage reading. i highly recommend this device to anyone. at $50 its affordable and has amazing performance! if you stuck with me this far thanks! this was my first review and i tried to cover all the angles. if you have any other questions id be happy to try and answer them to the best of my knowledge. thanks smoktek.com for the awesome product! oh and fyi they are an offical reseller of alien visions e-liquid! if yall were wondering... lol take care all!

those just screw in as is. i believe danpio uses the dct, its pretty much the same as what you are looking at but the catromizers for the tanks system have a flange at the bottom to keep the tank from sliding off. they also have a hole punched in to allow the juice to flow in. check these out... http://www.madvapes.com/dual-coil-510-chrome-tank-cartomizer-3-5ml.html they have 3.5ml and 6ml tanks to chose from. and they last all day, maybe two days depending on how much you vape, without having to refill

ok so im about to purchase an ovale v8 and i know with just about everything out there the batteries that come with something normally are not the best. i was looking on ebay and there are soo many diff kinds (xtar, trustfire, ultrafire, imr,) it seems ultra fire is the most common on ebay but whats common aint allways the best. anyone have any input into which brands are better than others? this is my first device other than ego and kgo and i wouldnt say im scared... lol just dont like buyers regret... thanks!

i just make sure i keep the bolts on each side tightened. i dont use tools or anything just my fingers. also i press my thumb on the underside to add xtra pressure...

i went into a local tobacco shop just about a week ago and they are a reseller of totally wicked eliquid. you couldnt find a nicer guy and bless his heart he wanted to know what he was talking about but he didnt have a prayer when i walked in... lol. of course i walked in with my twist and dct and started talking to the guy asking him what he had but his inventory was low wich i thought is a good thing cuz people are buying the stuff... then he looks at my setup and is like ohh you got one of thos extender tanks! we have those to and proceeds to pull out a clearomizer and after i said its kinda close but not really he was still trying to say it was what i had... and thats were i let loose and told him what was what... lol i think totally wicked has a handle on their resellers knowing the very basic knowledge of the products such as the names and flavors and stuff but when it comes to how they work and the difference between the volts and ohms and variable voltage it may as well be in swahili... lol

I ALWAYS get asked if my twist has weed in it! lol my next purchase is gonna be the ovale v8. the reviews ive seen are great. it seems compact enough for me at least. and its pretty cheap at $50 for the kit. now itll be my first mod purchase and i really know nothing about the different batteries for it but i think it looks awesome! also while i was at vapestock last month i saw a mod that took an HTC cell phone battery and the guy said it lasts at least 2 days. i cant for the life of me remember what vendor it was but the mod looked like a tank! lol not a dct tank but like an M-1 Abrams tank! lol

ive seen that method. the only reason im even bothering with this is cuz i just got a new pack (it was free from a contest they had and i figured what the hell) and i barely got thru one carto before the batts bought the farm. i think i might have to try the condom method tho just to see how it pans out for me and so i can explain if someone asks me. all of my buddies are ego guys with dct or vivi nova type setups so i doubt ill need the info but one can never have to much info! lol thanks again! saved me from spending $16 on another stick batt. an adapter is on my next order. so the 801 901 and 808 are all the same threads just diff size batts?

i dont believe so. i got a free batt from a vape meet last month and it works with those cartos. but i think the power output is too high cuz they would get too hot. but it did in fact work. to only proprietary device ive heard of is the go-go...

thanks guys and mcquinn... i never ever thought of a adapter! man im glad i asked on here before i bought anything,.. and mike... white cloud is.... ok. nothing great. it did what i needed it to do... i told myself i had to stop smoking. and i couldnt wait for the mail so i had to find somthing to go pick up that day.... i knew nothing of ego or vv or dct or anything i know now. lol but it helped me very much... only prob is... they suck! lol the cartos are pretty good except u cant refill em and they cost like $21 and some change for a pack of 5.... but their batts are outrageously price and grossly under quality... after shelling out $172 for the kit... i had to get EACH batt replaced at let 3 or 4 times! and they just crapped out on me again.... alas, so long white cloud!

does anybody know what number threading the white cloud batteries are? i just received a new pack of 5 cartomizers for it and both batts crapped out on me..... again.... for the 4th time... im not goin back to em and wanted to get another batt just need to know if they are 808, 801, or 901. also whats the diff between the kr and dse prefixes? thanks guys!

all i know is they make both auto and manual but the crazy thing is the only manual epipes i saw had the button on top. like where u would put the tobbaco in a traditional pipe. not so sure if im down with that. but ive been wanting to get one as well... ive always loved pipes

most ecigs that look like real cigs usually have 808 threads... so look for those. imho i never had any luck with the stick batts. thats why i upgraded to the ego and kgo (ego clone) i highly recommend looking into those.

it does take a bit to fill the carto. i normally fill it till a drop comes out the bottom. who knows maybe the elves took a drag or two. you never know with elves... lol

do you fill the carto before you fill the tank? if you dont the juice will do what its supposed to and fill the carto up. thats what im guessing happened
