  1. Yeah those zmax's are nice. A lot of extra features.

I'm hopin with the vamo I can try (emphasis on try lol) to be a little more descreet vaping at work with the option to run it in 'mini' mode with an 18350. I never wanted to buy the lavatube mini cuz i did't want an 18350 to be my only option, gotta have the 18650 for trips and whatnot.

  2. I have one as well, i think i got it from discount vapors, i agree it was just ok. Being a VV fan it didn't quite get the wattage i needed, but had great battery life. Would be awesome for people content to stick in the 3.3-3.7 volt range.

  3. I get it all the time, and people seem to lay off when you clear up a HUGE misconception about both smoking and vaping. NICOTINE DOES NOT CAUSE CANCER!! I've found that an overwhelming amount of non-smokers assume that nicotine is the most harmful part about smoking, and that even alone, it causes cancer.

Generally, once i explain to people that nicotine alone is very similar to caffeine, and that it is not a carginogen, and it is not what's harmful about cigarettes (it just keeps you inhaling what IS harmful), they generally are more accepting. I feel like that's been one of the biggest suprises in telling people about vaping is they think nicotine is what causes cancer in cigarettes.

  4. One of the big pluses pbusardo pointed out on his website, is that with these new software interface devices, we may be able to control the power and voltage over the course of a draw, essentially designing the perfect hit for the individual every time. By no means and i jumping on one of these, but pure 100% control over the vaping experiences seems to be the goal. Intriuging, and i'll be keepping an eye on these devices.

  5. Now i'm torn between the iTaste MVP and this vamo contraption. I've been wanting to try out variable power for awhile now, and this looks like a nice mod, really like the multiple battery and size capability, Jeff, if you had to choose which you do like better?

  6. Great article, thanks for sharing that. The key point to me whas the line

"Prohibiting the safest form of nicotine delivery will increase, not stem, the calamity of cigarette-related death."

So true, and it's really difficult to understand why the FDA and countries that have banned ecigs take the stance that they do, especially when as the article states, their "safe and effective" nicotine delivery systems (patch, gum) are often neither safe or effective.

  7. Via pbusardo's website, he knocks it for the ego threading not supporting many recessed connection devices, like several stardust clearo's, mego cartos, etc. He says innokin is aware of it and agrees the design should be improved, so maybe they'll release a 2nd version with some of these improvements. If they do, and the price point stays the same i'm definitely getting one :)

  8. Well, it appears it's not the charger itself, but rather the AC adapter. I swapped it with the car adapter and tried charging it and it works fine. I'm going to see if COV will let me buy a new AC adapter or maybe i can pick one up at radio shack. Super weird that it just died randomly just as i was pluggin in a battery, no idea if we had a power surge or what the deal is. The good news tho is the charger itself is working.

  9. So i've been using my xtar wp2 charger with no problems for a couple months now. Went to charge my battery today and as soon as I placed the battery in the charger, both status lights (normally constantly green) turned off completely. I'm positive i didn't put my battery in the wrong way. It's still on it's normal .5 setting. I've tried different outlets, still the status lights won't turn back on. It's like it just entirely died. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? I have no clue if it's just the status lights or if the charger isn't working entirely.

  10. way to step on my toes Darth! jk :) Glad you posted this here b/c it's a product i'm interested in and this new category is the perfect place for this kind of stuff.

I don't think it's been released for purchase yet, last time i looked was 2 weeks ago or so, but it looks very intriguing. I love my smoktek vv 18650 but it's so fragile and not good for out and about where it could be dropped on concrete. This looks similar but more much durable. If only it displayed your ohms and battery life. Pbusardo posted a first look awhile back which is what sparked my interest. I'm awaiting his review with anticipation :)

Either way i'll prolly pick one up when they're available if the price is reasonable and it gets decent reviews.
