I KNEW it was something like that, couldnt get my brain to figure it out ! I got some of the fishtank filter last night, I figured I better try it out before I go giving any more advice. It works really well, you just have to rinse out the charcoal. For $2.00, its worth it. it looks like EXACTLY the same stuff. Just make sure you get the white ones, there is blue filters too, not sure if its the same stuff.

Its really up to you. I know some people who dont want to be bothered with cleaning, so just use them up and buy new, and some who clean them when vapor gets low, and some who clean them every 2 weeks or so regardless of performance. I have used mine for a month now, had one atty die, cleaned it, and its good as new. My other attys are still going strong with no cleaning yet.

Well , I MAY get into a little trouble here. I am BIG TIME anti FDA, at least inasmuch as they operate right now. I cant turn on my TV without seeing at LEAST 10 commercials a night by some lawyer who is worried about me or my loved ones that may or have not suffered serious side affects from some drug that the FDA approved as safe. May cause suicide, stomach cramps, itching, rashes, dizziness, vomiting, yada, yada, yada. And for the anti freeze they found, they found an insignificant amount in ONE sample out of all the ones they tested. They are nothing more than a puppet for big pharma. They, along with the IRS, need a complete internal cleansing

Paypal was pressured by big brother to not allow tobacco related products to be a part of thier sales, or something to that effect. So Paypal wont let ANYONE who sells e cigs or related products to do business, and suspends there accounts. From what I read somewhere, theyre also holding peoples money for up to 180 days. Now THAT is what makes people go on rampages.If you want to FORCE your theorys and belifs on us, fine, I just wont listen. But dont TOUCH my jing !!!!

Thats interesting, that you still miss the smell. For 35 years, the smell never really bothered me, which used to tick me off when other people complained about it. But now, my wife still smokes, and the smell drives me nuts. I dont say anything, as Im a former culprit, but I NEVER thought I would be the one complaining about the smell. Its ONE thing that makes me NOT wanna go back to analogs

Also, a big part of the mental addiction falls on you HAVE to WANT to quit, or cut back. If youre doing it because people are nagging you (been there), or because everyone around you is quitting (done that ), youre NOT going to quit, because you dont WANT to. We are programmed as human beings to explore our desires, be it drinking, smoking, reading books, sex, whatever. If you dont WANT to stop reading a book, you WONT. Like me, I did NOT want to quit smoking, it was the "smoking alternative" phrase that caught me. I still get to do what I want. Im a stubborn Irishman. Its a win win situation, and I get to save face AND please everyone. Of course, thats a no no with big brother. Hes not getting his cut, so, Im back to being an outcast.

I agree. And I dont think e cigs should be touted as "quit smoking" devices. That pins them to the wall as an either fail or succeed device. Recovering alcoholic, recovering heroin addict, recovering smoker maybe.

It depends on where you got it. MOST suppliers dont include the "PCC, personal carrying/charging case", but I have seen a couple that do. If you spent around $50.00, then I doubt it.

Same here. I keep everything. I still have my G.I. Joe from 1971. My batts and attys are still strong a month and a half later. If you got 3 30ml of juice and extra batt and atty with the starter kit, you have more than me.

For what its worth, I actually DIDNT want to quit. What really caught my attention at first, was the "smoking alternative" angle. I LIKED to smoke ( or so I thought at the time ). NO one wouldve taken the bet that I would actually quit. THATS whats so great about it, they got me off analogs, and I wasnt TRYING to get off them. But, that in mind, you have to know going in, it is NOT exactly the same as smoking. It IS as freaking close as you could possibly get though

I dont have any idea what Plmk means, BUT, its the stuff a fish tank filter is made of. Just get a filter at Wal Mart for about $1.97 and cut it up. I read somewhere that its also the stuffing for pillows, but I dont know for sure about that one. If you go the filter route, youll notice it when you see it.

Sounds like your atty was dry. Or not broken in yet.Or dirty. If it tastes funny at first, but then gets better, its usually the atty.
