so this is the start of the skywalker mod.

still waiting on my buttons and battery threads

will have to make a handle for it to house the switchable voltage and button

this first one will be going threw a lot of different ideas to get it right and light up just like a saber.

Jolly, Try silica pellets (used for sandblasting) to frost the inside of your tubes. It won't leave any residue.

those the same as what they put into packages to absorb moisture?

nope. but you can get silica gel--just search "media blasting"
