Recently, my joker seems to quickly go from a green light to blue quickly. I have noticed that if I slightly unscrew the bottom and tighten again the light goes back to green. Am I tricking the safety features by doing this?

Are you using a low resistance atomizer on the Joker? (Also moving this to the Noobie area)

You might just need to clean the threads on the battery cap. This is the negative terminal side connection for the batteries, and if crud gets in the threads it will make a bad connection and lower the usable voltage. That's why unscrewing it a little and screwing it back in helps, it's making a better connection.
