Dse905 Mod Question

I just picked up a DSE905 in hopes of running 2 - cr123 batts for 6v. I haven't received it yet but from what I've gathered up, it needs to be bored out a bit to accept the batts. Does anybody have a link to how to mod it for 6V?

After reading some forum threads it seems you just have to bore out the battery chamber as you said above. I didn't see any mention of changing the electronics themselves in any way. It does seem however you need to watch for the 1000 puff cleaning cycle as at 6V it can melt a cart. I'm sure you have read this thread as well, but just in case this is where I found the most info-

I would be very interested in improving the two that I bought.

For now, I just use it when I want less throat-hit. Or run out of charged batts.
