Brian Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 This happened to me a few months ago also. I have no health insurance because I have no job. I needed to get a TB test and a physical for some classes that I was taking. Because I paid cash I got a 20% discount. They reason behind this is that they are not having to wait 30-90 days to receive payment from a insurance company. After working in a family business for 15 years and having to do collections and other various bill paying activities, this makes total sense to me. I hadn't thought of it that way... it does make sense.
