808 to 510?

Hello forum,i have a Halo triton battery that i like but the tank just isnt my style.Been looking around at sites and think this would work but would like a someone who knows more to back me up so i dont waste money.Came across a adaptor that states it will turn a 808D battery into a 510 thread.Also some one told me i should get a ''shorty cone'' to cover space,i have no idea what or where to look.Any help would be great. Thanks
