deedee9787 Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 I have this as my setup on my igo w, its 28 ga.kanthal, 8 wraps each equalling to .7 ohms. This is my 3rd build, the first was amazing, second sucked and this one is giving me a burnt taste but its chugging vapor. Im using homemade juice, 50/50. Any suggestions?

Vaporsmith Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Sometimes too much cotton can cause this problem. Less is more! It needs some room to wick up. I may be totally off, but its happened to me.

Love2VapeDaily Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Think about airflow buddy. Air moving across the coils is a good thing. And trim your leads down opposite of each coil. Here is my setup. So less cotton and make sure the coil is not surrounded by cotton. Notice in the pic I have no cotton under my coils.I also prefer my coils real close to the posts. Vaporsmith 1
Vaporsmith Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Yeah I have had to drill out the air holes on my igo-w as well. Airflow is a huge factor.
deedee9787 Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 Alrighty, I just got off work so I plan on changing my cotton now and I have my air holes drilled out to 5/64 , a little too airy.
